I recently purchased a 20 year old truck that needed some suspension and steering component work…read moredone to get it back in tip top shape. I called multiple places that were recommended by friends, and ultimately went with this shop both on a personal recommendation as well as their published reputation. I can't say enough good about the quality this shop has in both professional standards as well as personal touches. Brett and Lori made it feel like getting some help from a long-time friend and less like a business transaction. Vehicle repair and restoration can be costly and the value you will get out of the work done can't compare to the invaluable human touch they have mastered here.

That was $1,000 more than the one three years earlier cost. I told him to let me know if it didn't pass smog after the new cat was put on. Instead he called me saying I owed him another $1400 for replacing two plugs and coils! When I balked at it because he didn't have my permission to do the works, he got snotty saying he could put the crappy old parts back on but it would ruin the new cat. At this point I couldn't trust him to remove the new parts and not sabotage something else, so I paid him. This weekend, I drove the motorhome on a 180 mile trip and it still runs rough. In fact, it runs worse than before. I had planned to replace the plugs, coils and fuel injectors myself before he replaced two without my permission. Now I have to do it anyway because he only replaced two. Who only replaces two?!! Most of the work is in getting access to them in a class C. Thoroughly disgusted and definitely know he ripped me off. I would leave zero stars if that were an option.

Mixed reviews are to be expected. Be glad if you were someone fortunate enough to give him a 5 star…read morerating. Sorry for those who didn't have such a great experience. I got lucky and avoided additional contact with Robert after his initial assessment of my black tank issue and then getting his exorbitant quote, so my 1 star rating isn't based on workmanship but simply his poor work ethic. He's a nice enough guy. Maybe that plays well into the use of his unfavorable tactics. He wanted to charge $891 just for the tank that he said was leaking. The next day he said I better act quickly as there were only 1 or 2 tanks left and if I didn't grab one the price would go up since it would have to be specially built. I ended up getting the tank through Heartland for $160 and then hired a reputable tech for removal of the old tank and installation of the new. Just based on the capacity of the tank Robert planned to get I question if it would've been correct as it wasn't even close to what I got from Heartland that was customized to match the existing plumbing on my RV. Not only that, the tech doing the job couldn't find a leak! So now I'm out $326 because the tank can't be returned-a small price to pay compared to how much he wanted to rip me off for. Heartland said the job should take about 10 hours. Robert wanted $2400 for labor. You do the math and then tell me whether or not I'm crazy to think that's a tad on the high side. I showed interest in a new hot water heater. I won't even go into the details of that encounter. Suffice it to say that he was going to charge $1480 for the unit but labor would be free since one person could install that while the other worked on the tank. Heartland wanted $868 for a h/w heater. Talk about price gouging. He stood to gain around $1700 just by overcharging for two items. Of course he didn't have to charge labor for that! This guy will take your money however he can get it! I can't say don't use him. Obviously some people are very happy, but do your homework and don't give him an unreasonable amount of money upfront. He wanted me to just hand over $1335 for parts. After seeing his reviews and reading the complaints filed against him at the BBB I'd be very reluctant to do that for fear I'd never see him again.

If there were a less review star available, I would have used it for this company…read more Do NOT do business with this company. They had my motorhome for over 3 months with the intent for them to replace 2 of the awnings on the RV, 1 which needed new fabric. My original awnings are forest green in color. After a couple months of waiting for an update from them, which we never received via phone or text, we went down to their facility only to learn that they could not purchase the forest green awning material. They had in stock only white or black. I am not sure if they just wanted us to end up purchasing their material or not. However, we opted for the white material. After another month of waiting with no response we went over again. They said they were still working on it and it would be done by the end of the week. Another 2 weeks go by with no communication from them. We go back again and find out that nothing had been done other than the fabric being installed on the awning which was sitting inside the RV instead of being installed outside where the awning belonged. To top things off, they either had someone living or sleeping in the RV as when I went inside the RV they had taken my pillow from my bed and it was laying on the couch along with a blanket they had taken out also obviously being used and just thrown on the couch. I am pretty sure if they were sleeping on my couch, they were also using my satellite tv to watch our directv programming. When we told them that we were taking the RV from them they refused to let us use a credit card, telling us that the system was not working, when we all know they were afraid we would contact the credit card company and dispute the charges. As a result we had to go to the bank and get cash in order to get our RV from them. Now we need to contact another RV company to get the repairs completed. We will not be returning or referring this company to any others. HORRIBLE company! 1/19/2025

I picked it up on August 29, 2024, when I was told the work was done. I drove away and within minutes I smelled smoke which was starting to fill the interior of the van. I pulled over to the side of the road, got out, and saw sparks and small flames coming from loose wiring where the batteries had been installed. Suddenly the whole van was fully engulfed in flames. I called the fire department as I watched it burn to the ground.
