Pasta à la vodka.. one of my favorite dishes everywhere I go I have to try it. This one was a tad spicier than I'd like, but if you love spicy then it's perfect. Pasta is al dente just the texture I like. Should pair with a bread but it doesn't. Had to order a pita on the side. Espresso martini 19 (souls) aka dollars. it was delicious definitely high end ingredients. These days.. I guess it has to be 19 souls but that's just inflation. However back in the day an honoree 10$ would suffice (take me back.) The hookah was great! (im not too much of a connoisseur but it was good to me.) I got the White Night. It was very lemony, however paired well with the pasta that was actually very citrusy went well. I like when my food tastes good with my hookah. No one ever talks about point of pairing, like wine with a steak, it's a combined flavor. Honestly that should be the selling point. Hire me if you want my taste bud advice anywho.. came here on a Sunday around 8pm very dead no one here which I love having it to myself but bad for them so I'd wish for everyone to come here yes thanks. well done on the customer service no creepy guys excellent and attentive appreciate the men here.. bottom line fantastic & great spot.

Had a lovely lunch at this great restaurant in Glendale! Even during lunch, the patio has a dark and moody feel and people were indulging in some plesant smelling hookah. I was there to eat, though. I got the Wagyu Sliders, which were AMAZING. Holy cow, so good, so much flavor. I also got the grape leaves, which I loved and the Knafeh for dessert, which I also really enjoyed. I loved everything so much that, for dinner, I got a kabob plate! Would definitely go back.

I had such a fun and memorable Friday night at The Brandy! The food was phenomenal. We ordered a variety of dishes and every single one was bursting with flavor. The live entertainment (music + dancing) created such a lively and vibrant atmosphere. The service was fantastic, super welcoming and attentive. It's the kind of place where you come for dinner and end up staying for the whole experience. Highly recommend for a unique Mediterranean night out in Glendale!

I had such a great experience at The Brandy in Glendale! The atmosphere is perfect for a fun night out. The food was just as impressive as the vibe. The fried Brussels sprouts were my absolute favorite crispy, flavorful, and addicting. The Lule kabob was so juicy and well-seasoned, and the Caesar salad was rich, cheesy, and delicious. Woke up thinking about how good the food was. Never gone to a hookah bar expecting much from their menu but they have a great selection that's not just your typical bar food. Our server was so sweet and answered all our questions and recommending for us coming back on a Friday or Saturday when they have entertainment. The olives come with grilled feta and honeycombs in a side bowl was definitely a favorite at the table. Already planning on when we can all come back.

Great party lounge atmosphere and amazing DJ plays American Arabic Armenian goodies. It has a low profile from the street side and security and hostess reservation specialist. Food is delicious menu is incredibly satisfying the salmon appetizer is fantastic! The ribeye steak is yummy I recommend you request easy smoking. The lamb chops are amazing each entrée is good for sharing. Wide alcoholic drinking selections. Many positives. They bring a saxophone player, a belly dsncer, and the DJ is cool and great. Managers are smart n cool. Only catch for party of 9 And more minimum charge $85/person.

    Mushroom shawarma so salty

Love this new spot in Glendale. We were group of 8, we ordered bunch of appetizers and everything was so good and delicious for the main dish I ordered mushroom shawarma and seafood pasta, both dishes were extremely salty, which I wasn't able to eat. The service was amazing and it was pretty fast. The ambience was great for a group night out, the performers did an amazing job. The only thing that wasn't impressive was the indoor smoking hookah. Despite the strong ventilation in the restaurant, I could still smell the smoke.

My friend and I stumbled upon The Brandy. To my surprise, it was also a hookah bar. The vibe was pleasant with efficient service. The shawarma tacos were delicious, but why just 3? Ridiculous! C'mon there's two of us! I had the raspberry daiquiri which was so delicate and refreshing! The strategically placed lemon peel tickled my sense of smell. We also ordered shrimp ceviche. Unfortunately, that was a disappointment. The shrimp did not taste fresh and was warm. I expect ceviche to be cold and refreshing. I wasn't happy with that dish. Overall, I think this is a spot to hookah, as they have many options to choose from I can't really pass judgment on the food, but I'd still go back

A Mediterranean restaurant and elevated hookah lounge in one. I enjoyed the sophisticated approach and modern dishes. We came within 30 minutes of opening and there was no wait. I enjoyed the patio seating more, but indoor is lively with a DJ. It does get busier in the night. For two, we ordered the mushroom shawarma ($17), fried brussels sprouts ($16), seafood ceviche ($22), and wagyu sliders ($19). These appetizers were great for sharing. My favorite was the mushroom shawarma and brussels sprouts. For cocktails, we got the brandy ($21) and midnight kiss ($19). For hookah, we tried one of their house blends called white knight ($38). The flavor was white gummy, peach, and lemon mint. The customer service was outstanding! Our waitress was very attentive, gave us recommendations, and came by multiple times to check up on us. The food also came out fast and right after another. We really enjoyed our dining experience as well as the hookah.

We always have such an amazing time at the brandy anytime we go. From time to time they have a fun comedy night be sure to book in advance. The good is always fresh and delicious no matter what you order on the menu. Great selection of hookah. Very attentive anytime you go. Highly recommend.

ATMOSPHERE, DÉCOR, AMBIENCE A dark cavernous speakeasy-like place with open space, various tables and couches strewn about, and a large long somewhat decorative bar with an impressive whiskey selection displayed behind it. I appreciated the exposed brick walls which gave it that old-time feel with a few framed pictures hung on them. Minimal natural lighting came through the front doors and windows while minimal electric ceiling lights filled in rest. There was at least one projection TV where we watched the Dodgers game while music played in the background. https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=8jVT2inwc8GIQ6sH2UG9Vw&start=24&select=SomLKsk1KVcemeOCHGOZfg ATTIRE Totally casual, so I would normally be in a t-shirt, boardshorts, and flip-flops. OVERALL It was nice to slip into The Famous Bar for the first time in over a decade, and if I found myself spending time in downtown Glendale again, I'd consider another visit. Sadly, I try to avoid the highly congested area as much as possible. I loved the fact that they had a daily happy hour (4pm-7pm) and late-night SU-TH happy hours (10:30pm-close), so there was always a deal to be found. The drinks were the main reason you came, while the food was just an add-on. The prices were elevated, but you had a good menu selection of libations (nice local craft beer list) to choose from. The customer service was easy, friendly, and straightforward. I found very good value based on the prices, service, and experience noted above (TOTAL paid experience was around $42.00 BEFORE any discounts/tip). And, they accepted my credit card of choice... Came through Eden on Brand and went with the trifecta: ribeye, crème brûlée, and a crafted cocktail…read moreand honestly, that's the way to experience this place. Starting with the ribeye: it landed on the table with a solid sear and that melting herb butter slowly pooling into the meat, which is always a good sign. Cooked to a true medium, it held onto its juices and had that balance of charred exterior and tender interior you want. Flavor-wise, it didn't need much seasoning was on point, and the butter just added that extra richness without taking over. It's not trying to compete with a high-end steakhouse, but for what Eden is a vibe-forward, social dining spot it absolutely delivers. Dessert kept the momentum going. The crème brûlée had that satisfying, audible crack when you tap into it, with a nicely torched sugar layer that wasn't burnt or bitter. Underneath, the custard was smooth, creamy, and not overly sweet, which made it easy to finish even after a full meal. It's a classic done right, and a strong closer if you're lingering at the table. The crafted cocktail lineup deserves a mention too. This isn't a place where drinks feel like an afterthought. Presentation is clean, flavors are balanced, and you can tell there's some intention behind the mix. Whether you're starting the night or transitioning into more of a lounge vibe, the drinks fit seamlessly into the overall experience. Speaking of vibe that's really Eden on Brand's main draw. The space leans into a dim, upscale lounge atmosphere with music that sets the tone without completely overpowering conversation. It feels like a hybrid between a dinner spot and a nightlife destination, making it ideal for date nights, birthdays, or just a night out where you don't want to bounce between multiple places. Service, like a lot of spots in this category, can vary. On a good night, staff are attentive and keep things moving at a nice pace. On a busier evening, there can be some lag. It's not a dealbreaker, but it's noticeable enough to mention just come with a little patience if the place is packed. Overall, Eden on Brand isn't about precision fine dining it's about the full experience. You're here for the ambiance, the energy, and a menu that hits enough high notes to keep you satisfied. Order smart (ribeye is a win), save room for dessert, and don't skip the cocktails.

In addition, service was abysmally slow & forgetful, food came out cold, and wasn't that great/cooked correctly either. My "rare" filet mignon was medium at best. The "rib chop" my coworkers got was flaaat as hell and overcooked with inconsistent presentation/preparation. Can't send my overcooked filet back of course because it's the last one. Crème brûlée was actually soup in the middle. Bread pudding was dense and unpleasant. Potatoes were cold. Given our group dropped almost three grand, it was pretty damn lackluster. It's too bad because it's in a great location and has nice ambiance, but that doesn't make up for everything else. Brownie sundae was the lone highlight.

Last Saturday afternoon, a friend and I decided to try a new spot. We weren't very hungry--we had…read moredinner plans later--so we just wanted something light. Atrium is located off Orange, a street that doesn't have much going on, but the good news is there's a huge public parking structure just south of the restaurant with plenty of metered spaces. The restaurant itself has a casual outdoor seating area that fits around 20-30 people, and a much larger indoor space. Inside is absolutely gorgeous--seriously, out‑of‑this‑world décor. Outside is more relaxed, and since the weather was nice and the indoor area was nearly empty, we asked to sit outdoors. Service was perfect. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and didn't make us feel awkward for ordering just two small dishes. My friend ordered the Greek salad, and I went with the tuna tartare. Everything was incredibly fresh and served ice‑cold (as salads should be--I can't stand warm salads). The flavors were balanced and delicious, and the presentation was stunning. I almost didn't want to eat my tuna tartare because it looked like a piece of art. There must be a master chef in the kitchen who really knows what they're doing. Now, the price... definitely on the high side, borderline crazy. We paid $64 for two starters. Imagine if we had ordered entrées, shared a dessert, added a drink each, and maybe some coffee--the bill could easily climb to $300. Will I come back? Maybe, but probably only for a special occasion. My Rating Breakdown: Location: B Venue / Décor: A Menu / Selection: B Service: A Food Quality & Temperature: A Value: C‑ Overall: B+ But I'll bump them up to an A‑ and give them 5 stars because the food and service really were exceptional.

Incredibly attentive! We had a couple of cocktails: Basil breeze (good) and atrium bliss (a little sweet). Then we shared the atrium chips, falafel and Mediterranean flatbread (all very good). I then had the atrium chicken salad which was surprisingly good! Very gingery which I loved. We will be back!

The drinks are just as impressive, thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented--from their signature in-house Love Potion to the wide variety of expertly curated cocktails and beverages. This restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Glendale and is a place everyone should experience at least once. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and elegant, making every visit feel special. To top it all off, they offer an incredible selection of desserts that are just as unforgettable as the rest of the menu. Every aspect of the experience is consistently outstanding and leaves you looking forward to your next visit. Their whiskey selections are amazing.

I thought that they possibly had a happy hour, but either they stopped it, or they didn't advertise it. I think a happy hour would help draw a bit of a crowd and get more people there. They have a good selection of spirits and a handful of beer on tap. Overall, it was a fine visit for a drink, but was not very memorable or anything that would justify 5 stars. I'll probably try out somewhere different next time before heading to dinner. They have outdoor and indoor seating, and the over ambiance is fine. Not too loud and not too quiet. Service was nothing more than asking what you want to drink and then bringing it to you. No recommendations

Not for myself... lmao, since I was new here, but you can tell that everyone knows each other, and it's just a really friendly environment to be in. I felt totally safe, even though I was one of like three girls there, and honestly, everyone was super nice, super friendly, and sarcastic--just the way I like it. It was easy to feel comfortable and even easier to want to come back. They have a really solid beer selection, but the real winner is their cider--it's 8% alcohol, which is insane for a cider, but hey, I'm not complaining. They had the hockey game on, which I definitely appreciated, and they also have a pool table where you can write your name down to play. Not sure if there's a charge for that, but either way, it's a nice touch. They're open pretty late, and while the location doesn't have a bunch of other bars or spots around, the upside is tons of parking--which I totally love. Overall, it was a great experience, and I'd definitely recommend checking it out and maybe even making some new friends while you're there. (If you go in, tell the bartenders, I said hi)
