My first time here last week on a weekday and decided to come back with another group of gals a few days later on a weekend. Food was delish. We had their beet and burrata salad (oh so good) their fries (omg) and let's not forget the gnocchi (best I've ever had). Hookah was great. Not everyone knows how to pack a good hookah but they nailed it here. As far as ambiance and music, I loved the vibe. During the week they didn't have a dj but had a nice selection of music playing. On Saturday they had a DJ. Her song selection was great. Set a nice vibe for a Saturday night. Overall, we really enjoyed our evening, both nights. I had never been here and was passing by with my friends and we saw how busy it was and decided to join in. They have both outdoor and indoor seating, but it was so packed, we had to sit inside. This place probably had one of the best hookahs we had tried. It did not burn at all and we didn't even have to monitor it or anything. The service was great. Our server was such a nice gentlemen, so disappointed I didn't get his name, but he was so sweet and answered any questions we had. Tremendously overpriced and emotionally draining. As a native Glendale resident, I decided to visit this establishment with my wife and a friend. Being in a prime and lucarative area in the heart of Glendale, I decided to give this place a shot. We got seated promptly upon arrival without a reservation, and our waitress was very friendly and hospitable. I proceeded to order the so-called "Wagyu Beef Koobideh" plate alongside their Hummus and Chicken Nuggets with two hookahs. Right off the bat, I will like to say that the meat did not taste like wagyu beef, as I have had many variants of wagyu beef ranging from the baseline American Wagyu all the way to Japanese A5 Wagyu beef. I was not impressed at all, as I will add that the portions are quite small and still leave you quite hungry afterwards. The hummus on the other hand was pretty good, not going to lie, but the disappointment occurred when I asked for more bread and discovered that I got a charge of $4 for 4-5 small pieces of pita. That is highway robbery at that point. The drinks were reasonably priced, but the hookah was not justifiable for the amount they charged. The hookah was about 43-45 bucks, just for hookah, which was quite frankly a major disappointment. The hookah was not packed well at all, and I can tell that the packers were probably amateurs, and it did not even last for 20 minutes and proceeded to make me continuously cough, which accelerated the unpleasantness. The charcoal guy barely came to provide new charcoal and was just horrible by not showing up more often. Two hookahs, the above-mentioned foods, and two drinks cost almost $300 and were not worth it at all. Save yourself the trouble, and don't patronize a business that makes you financially drained for absolutely no reason. read more

My wife planned my 40th birthday at the brandy over the past weekend and I couldn't have been more pleased. The service is unlike anything I have seen in a long time. All our guests raved about their experience and all mentioned the excellent service led by manager Polo. They all truly went over and beyond to make our night special. Hovig was a huge help in the planning process and per my wife made the entire planning stage a breeze. Food was excellent. We had a set menu of hummus, Brussel sprouts, tahini Caesar, beef/chicken kabob, arrabbiata, greek potatoes, sumac cucumbers, rice and kanefe. All the dishes were so tasty. Drinks were also excellent. Waiters refilled nonstop and were really good about effortlessly getting orders out to a group of 60. We had the entire indoor reserved for our event. They also have a patio/outdoor area! I absolutely recommend this place whether for an event or just a night out. Ah forgot to mention.. Saturday nights are jazz/burlesque nights and they have performers on site for a few hours. That was also a nice touch to our event. Check this place out. Ask for Hovig. Made reservations days in advance for dinner out the last night of our vacation. Received a text confirmation the day before. Arrived early for our 730 pm Saturday night reservation. Upon arrival were notified that this was a "21 and up" restriction that night only and as there were underage members in our party we were out of luck. So there we were with a large hungry party, prime time, and no dinner reservations.
