We didn't try the beer this time but have in the past. The waitress taking our order seemed a bit disinterested but the serving waitress and bartender were lovely and got us anything we needed. Lunch break after a hike. We had the pups with us and the staff advised the patio was pup friendly. It would be nice if there was more shaded seating. There were two people at a picnic table under the far shade. The shaded area just off the building had space for three parties to sit at the time. We took a space at the end and Caleb, who was taking care of us, brought out a bowl of water for our pups. Service was excellent! My husband and I both had their Hazy IPA, our daughter had their house margarita. Dillon, who was manning the bar, did a great job on our beverages. All were refreshing on a hot day. I like that they have the oversized tumblers of water. Hydration is always important. My daughter ordered the 12" Carbonara Pizza. It had Alfredo sauce, mozzarella, grilled chicken, bacon and red onion. It was a thin crust pizza that was crispy on the bottom. She enjoyed the combination of flavors. My husband and I split the Buffalo Bacon Chicken Sandwich and chose sweet potato fries as our side. There is a $3 upcharge for splitting, which is fine. The sandwich had breaded chicken breast tossed in their buffalo sauce with bacon, Swiss, lettuce, and tomato. We opted for Ranch dressing as I am allergic to blue cheese. 12 count Buffalo Wings were devoured before I could snap a picture! The drumsticks were huge! The pizza looked thin and just okay when it hit the table. But we underestimated it! Yummy! I drove 15 minutes home only to find out that the pizza had no cheese even though my wife ordered extra cheese. when I drove back to get money back for a non-pizza the bartender took money out of register and literally threw it on the bar and said "I told you". this is not the first time I've had issues with this restaurant. it has gone downhill badly. I work in the service industry of Pagosa Springs and will be sure to recommend that guests do NOT go to the breakroom. they also call themselves a brewery. We've been in town for almost a week on vacation and have had an amazing experience at so many local spots. Everyone has been incredibly kind and welcoming--many even suggested other places to check out, including The Break Room Brewing Company. Since it was our last day, we were excited to stop by and enjoy the atmosphere. The place itself was great. The live music was fantastic, and we took a seat at the bar, enjoying the fun blooper videos playing on the screens. When our server came over, my husband--who is friendly, polite, and easygoing--ordered his beer. Her response was unexpected: after a long pause, she responded in a noticeably condescending tone, pointedly asking him, "How are you doing today, sir?" It felt less like a friendly greeting and more like a correction, as though she took offense that he didn't start the conversation that way himself. We were both taken aback. The interaction left us feeling uncomfortable enough that we decided not to order food or stay longer. My husband still closed out and left a tip, because that's just who he is. For what it's worth, the server was the one wearing the chain across the top of her nose. I'm not sharing this to be unkind, but because I think it's something the owners should be aware of. First impressions matter, and we were genuinely disappointed to end an otherwise wonderful week on that note. read more

I showed up an hour before close. The kitchen only had limited menu since they closed down the grill. Mostly only fried food was available. I ordered a chicken sandwich that uses the grill to toast the bread and melt the cheese and they made it work. I was okay with not toasting the bread and having non-melted cheese and they worked with me despite it being an item "not available" for the hour. The bathrooms and booths were clean. There was a table drinking and playing jenga. A couple of guys were at the bar watching a football game, then played some pool before leaving. Overall a cool experience. Our group of 4 adults + 4 kiddos headed to the Break Room for the first time after a long day of skiing. We were tired and ravenous!! Man, did this place deliver. Best loaded tots smothered in cheese and green chilies I've ever had, our table devoured them. All adults got the hatch green chile burger which was amazing. Plenty of kid friendly options, we all left full and happy. During one of the busiest weeks in Pagosa, the staff was gracious and had us all seated in less than 30 min. This is probably our favorite restaurant in Pagosa Springs. The menu is small but the atmosphere is the best, most relaxed in town. They have a small selection of their own brews as well as a few other local + national beers on tap. It's definitely a find an open table and sit kind of place and they'll bring you the menus and take your drink orders. Their IPA was fantastic and cold which felt great in the mildly warm weather. There was live music the evening we were there and he was so good, had some of his own songs as well as some well known covers. Amazing voice. The best part in my opinion is the super dog-friendliness of the joint. The outdoor area is big with a lot of picnic tables to sit at with your puppers. It's such a chill place to hang out for a bit and soak in the weather and have some good beer. Another huge bonus here is the food. Everything we've had here was fresh and delicious but somehow they have managed to have one of the best pizzas I've ever had anywhere. The crust is thick and has enough chew to it and the sauce and cheese are great. I don't know what it is about their pizza but OMG their pizza OMG. Love this place! read more

She even served a beer to a guy who walked up behind me as I sat. After 10 minutes and still not even having my presence acknowledged and my patience appreciated I left. Hungry and thirsty. Chose this place based on great reviews on google. Arrived and was told it would be a 45 minute wait for food. Okay, no big deal. Sat down and it took over 20 minutes just to get drinks and take our dinner order. Honestly, we should've left then. Waited over an hour and a half total for our food (4 meals, not a huge order). After waiting, we were told that they were out of the 2 sides we ordered. My husband's wings had a hair in them. I went in to ask for the food to go as we had a fussy baby who had patiently waited for the 90+ minutes. The waitress gave me attitude and said "well the food is almost ready." Okay cool, I still don't want to sit here and eat it. No one ever checked on us, offered to refill our drinks, apologized for the wait, anything. The manager brought our food and boxes out and we had to box our food ourselves. When I gave him the feedback, he apologized and gave us a discount. He told us that they had been super busy and had a lot of rushes. Well, when we got there and the whole time we had waited it was pretty quiet. I get being busy, but your restaurant should still be functional. Overall will not be returning. Some of the worst service I've had. read more
