We were visiting in Pagosa Springs in mid-August and this place was just around the corner where we were staying. My aunt wanted Thai and it was her birthday, so she picked Thai Pagosa. We went inside and ordered to go and the staff was very friendly. The curry is what we ordered and it came with rice, I believe. We stopped here on our drive back up to Denver and were so pleased with our restaurant selection! We ordered a cup of Tom Kha, Pad Bamee, dumplings, and the green curry - all of which were delicious. Service was fast and friendly, the Tom Kha (which is a favorite of mine) was especially flavorful and rich and by the time I started on my entree, I had to take most of it to go - but it made for delightful leftovers. This restaurant reminds me of a little place where I live. Small, jam-packed and delicious! We arrived at 7:15pm with the restaurant closing at 8. We checked out the menu, waited 5 minutes and we were seated. A lovely young man waited on us and was very nice. You're automatically served a small, refreshing green salad and then out came our entrees. Hubs & I always share, so we did have to ask for extra plates and I asked for extra chili. My only issue was the chili - chinese chili oil. I've frequented many a thai restaurant and I can never get fresh chili. Oh well. This would not deter me from eating here again. We went with another couple and we ordered and the food server put our plate of food to us and said our friends would be there soon. When they brought their food they announced that we had their food. We had already started eating it. Our friends said after a pause that they would take what was left from what we had taken. We gave them some of our now new dish. Not a good move. I tried to talk to manager after our friends left but she had disappeared. Thai Pagosa has the best Thai food that I have ever eaten! This was my second visit and both times I chose one of their roasted duck dishes.....It is beyond me how they get that duck so delicious and crispy! My last visit I had the drunken noodles with roasted duck and this time I ordered the Green Curry with the duck. Both were superb but I believe the green curry has been my favorit dish so far. The green curry was perfectly seasoned and had lots of fresh vegetables and the duck was to die for. My husband ordered the Pad Bamee which contained ramen noodles, vegetables, chicken and a nice brown gravy that we could basically drink. It was that good! Both visits we ordered the thai fresh rolls and they are so fresh and yummy with the most amazing peanut sauce topped with chopped peanuts. You won't let any of that sauce go to waste when you dine at Thai Pagosa! The waitstaff are so welcoming and professional and make the experience even more special. There are lots of locals who dine here and that is a very good sign. It gets pretty packed even after just opening at 4:30; so I am sure that the restaurant stays full around dinner time, so it may be wise to make a reservation (if they take them). The place is very cozy and quaint and there are fresh flowers on the table and interesting Thai themed decor throughout. We have only recently started going to Pagosa Springs with my family last year since going every year as a kid. Thai Pagosa will ALWAYS be on my list when I return to Pagosa Springs! read more

A great thai restaurant. My brother in law swears this is the best one he's been to - but I will say, I live in an area with competition for the category and there is better... BUT I end up paying A LOT more than I did here. Plus, the service was top notch, and the food came out incredibly fast. I got the green curry and was thrilled. It's not something I normally love, but they got it perfectly, just the right amount of heat and sweetness to it, without the coconut being overpowering. I had chicken in mine, but I have to say, the shrimp in my wife's drunken noodles was superior. Drunken noodles were great. My kids Pad Thai was good - but it was a pretty standard pad thai. My wife almost ordered the pineapple fried rice. However, a restaurant we used to go to did it perfectly, and it never lives up. Not seeing any reviews of it here, she passed on it. As I was walking out I heard a guy raving to his wife about his pineapple fried rice - so just putting it out there in case anyone is thinking about it. This place was such a delightful surprise! It was recommended to us by our Airbnb host, and after visiting, I understand why. The place is small but welcoming. The staff is kind, and the food is crazy good. If we lived close, it would be hard to refrain from eating here weekly. We had the spring roll appetizer, and like others have mentioned, that peanut sauce that comes with it is dynamite! The rolls themselves were very fresh and crisp. Loooved. We also got one of their curry dishes, and this too was insanely good. The chicken was moist, the veggies were perfectly crisp but soft, and the broth/sauce was on point. We have been eating here for years. The food is always great and the portions are above average. Imagine our surprise when we ordered take out this past week and they had a price increase of $3 plus on every dish, including appetizers and soups. When we asked why the price hike they said covid. Ok, I know covid caused supply chain issues and price increases but I'm not sure 50-60 percent price increases are fair. For example the Thai fresh rolls went from 6.95 to 9.95 and they had way less shrimp in them. We used to share The yellow curry and this time there was barely enough for one person. That went from 12.95 to 17.95! The only reason I give them 3 stars is the curry was still flavorful as well as the pad khee mao (which also went from 12.95 to 17.95. I understand prices have increased but these increases seem out of line. read more

This dinner was the perfect way to end a long day of driving. I got the red curry with chicken and vegetables. It was delicious! The vegetables were steamed then placed on top of the red curry sauce.
