I arrived on a nice sunny Saturday afternoon. High Scores Arcade is located in a nice area off Alvarado street in downtown Monterey. Parking is free and accessible along the streets and the nearby parking lots. The arcade games collection are classic, vintage, and from the 80's-90's. The space is on the smaller side but has just enough video games to look reputable. The decor is vibrant, bright, and playful. In the front is the counter where you purchase your admission, snacks, and alcohol/non alcoholic drinks. The admission is fairly priced. 1 hour of unlimited play is $10.00. All day unlimited play is $22.00. Overall we enjoyed our experience at High Scores Arcade. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The vibe was nostalgic and bustling. It was nice to introduce the games I use to play back in the day and play along side with my son. We hope to be back when we are in the area.

They got to play Jelly Ball out on the actual paintball field, which made it feel extra exciting and special for them. They were running around, laughing, and having the best time the entire time. It was such a fun birthday experience and something a little different from the typical birthday party. My husband even joined in on the fun and he loved it. We've been to most of the parks in the greater Bay Area and yesterday was our first time here. All the parks have been a great experience for us. They each have something we like, there's woodsball up north, nice variety in the central valley, we've had fun at all of them. So when I say that this was our favorite place, it means something. First off, great prices and superb staff to help you out. Geared towards the first time player but not limited in the least bit to new players. The fields are excellent, COD fans will have a familiar field to play on! The players we encountered were all good friendly people, both other teens/young adults and adults were friendly to my sons and I and it was a nice mix of teams. Lastly. The pro-shop and management team, the owner/operator and his managers are there to make sure you are enjoying your visit. I spent some time talking with them and they are committed to making your experience a long lasting memory. You want to build those core memories with your family and friends? They are the guys to help you do that. The Park is not limited to paintball, there's other activities available even for the really young ones. We'll be going back again soon!

There were also a few animatronics that were genuinely impressive. The pre-show is a little long, but it is so well done and I love the commitment to details. $20 seems like a steep price for a dark ride/shooting game, but you can ride as many times as you would like. (It seemed like most participants were not taking advantage of this but I went on a few times). I would definitely go back on a day when I had more time and see how many times I could get on the ride. In my opinion you do not need to pay $3 for the power chip upgrade. The highest score possible is 999,999 points. With the regular shooter we easily got 600,000 and 700,000 points on our second go around.

Each space is so well thought out, detailed, and beautiful. We loved the charming Italian feel of the Chateau and the Western contrast of the Double H Ranch. We incorporated both into our wedding day and our guests were continuously wow-d as they moved through the spaces. The venue also needs very minimal decorations for a wedding since it is so grand. We stayed on-site in the Chateau which was so amazing. The grounds are beautiful and it was fun to use the pool and enjoy the many available spaces over our three days there (and the incredible breakfasts!). Stonepine has an amazing team. Oceanne and Ari helped us navigate every detail and gave so much care into the planning of our day. Nathan and Julie were excellent hosts in the Chateau and went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. The wedding truly could not have been a more beautiful or special day.

It's a wonderfully cozy yet surprisingly spacious zoo that deserves so much more attention! The absolute highlight is their incredible variety of predator cats from all over the world--including African lions, beautiful servals, and bobcats! They also have zebras, rhinos, camels, and so much more to see.  You can even host an event at this placed get unique experience with the animals, visit the local gift shop. A few extra things that make this place great: The Staff: Incredibly friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The Grounds: A spacious territory with plenty of room to walk and explore and see the animals up close. The Facilities: Clean restrooms, simple food options and round tables for a quick snack.

I'm so glad I didn't, I came across Battle field in Hollister, I called and spoke to Craig he was awesome he explained into detail how the out door laser tag was diffrent than in door laser tag. My son was sold we booked his 10th Birthday at battle field. We had a AMAZING experience, I've never played a video game in my life and Craig was so awesome he let the adults jump in and experience the fun, he gave my 4 year old daughter and my nieces their own mini gun so they didn't feel left out. After a friend recommended this place, my husband & I had our son's 10th birthday party here on…read more7/18/20. It was A BLAST!!!! We reserved a group party session from 9am-11am and my 2 boys & 9 of their friends had such a good time playing the outdoor laser tag for the 1st time. The battlefield is outdoor, big and well set-up with inflatable obstacle barriers to hide behind. The players wear a headband rather than a vest and this was a better option especially for smaller kids. The 2 adults that played had fun as well. Music is played continuously and the owner Craig occasionally announced the 2 teams scores as the games were being played. There was several picnic tables in a covered (but still outdoor) area where Craig had reserved 4 tables for us. That was more than enough. Both he and his wife were great to work with & made sure everyone had a good time. There are also local pizza places that will deliver to the location so we had Round Table deliver pizza for lunch. I can't say enough good things about the place & owners!!! My son's birthday party was epic because we had it there. Every kid, including the only girl, who was 10, that attended the party said they wanted their birthday parties there. We plan to have my other son's 7th birthday party there this month.
