Work brunch in Brownsburg with my coworkers. I really enjoyed the diner feel of this restaurant. Everybody was friendly and the menu had plenty options. I decided to go with a combo of potato cakes, which one different for me. They were explained to me like a McDonald's hash brown served with eggs, sausage and applesauce. It wasn't bad. It was just enough for me because I wasn't that hungry so it got me just right for $8! My coworkers had platters and said their pancakes were really good. If you're In Brownsburg check out The Breakfast Company!

Great spot in Brownsburg over by the DMV. There are so many choices! Good luck deciding. Omelettes, hash brown skillets, pancakes, French toast, crepes, multiple oatmeal's and more. I had the Veggie skillet with hash browns, spinach, cheese and tomatoes. Yum!! These are large portions so go hungry. I'll assume their packed on weekends. We go during the week.

I did carry out so this review is based on food alone. We ordered the 1/2 order of stuffed French toast. Stuffed with cream cheese, strawberries and bananas. It is a good thing it was a half order because the diabetes would set it. So sweet but so good! It was 2 pieces of French toast, which I don't even like normally, but the toppings made it. The sweet cream cheese since..: pour it in my mouth please! We also ordered a skillet. Delicious. Hash browns were crisped just right. Cheese goodness. Scrambled eggs were real eggs not the egg powder. Turkey sausage patties were light and not greasy. The restaurant was packed when we picked up. 10am on a Saturday. Parking is plentiful. Next to a planet fitness so you can roll in right after your work out, or take your stuffed bellies next door to work it off!

This was a nice breakfast spot in the Brownsburg area. They had a lot of menu choices, and the food was really delicious. Our server was very attentive and helped with all of our diet restrictive needs. Very affordable too! I ordered a skillet and you had a choice of some type of bread. It was a tough decision between raisin bread and pancakes.

Really liked this place! Really big menu and options for everyone. I got the Tater Tot Skillet and it was so good. Easy parking. Huge space with room for lots of people. We went early and got sat right away but by time we left, it was getting packed.

The dryest meat omelette experience of my life. It's like they cooked it for an informercial showing you can cook omelets on a non stick pan without oil or butter. The French toast tastes like it was frozen at one point from a box and defrosted in a microwave then served at room temperature with a blob of toppings to cover up that box taste. This is my second time around, The first time was not great so I waited to review, now this was worse than the last so I won't be returning, I don't think managers cared anyway about us sending the food back because people in brownsburg seem to have this trend of accepting food places cooking like this and still giving it 5 stars.

    Cinnamon Roll French Toast

Leaving room for improvement because i Dashed this order. But the meal was so so good. I always order a Mediterranean or greek skillet if its on a menu and this one was so dang good. Wish i lived closer so i could come here more often. The cinn Roll french toast was super sweet, i wouldnt get it again because of that but it was delicious lol.

I also got the Som In Law sandwich, which is egg, chorizo and some other delicious things on an Asiago bagel. It was warm, crispy on the outside, perfect chewy on the inside of the bagel. The bagel to topping ratio was solid. It was a great savory treat to go with my coffee. Overall an awesome stop for a lunch hang out. Will definitely be back.

This place came highly rated on Yelp so we were all excited! I went for it: chicken fried steak, pimento grits and coffee. The coffee was fine and when we started ordering, that's when the problems happened. For some reason due to the POS software, they were unable to add items to an order. At some point, it just became "ok leave it as-is, just go with it". The poor server was at the mercy of the software. There were a lot of people there and the food took longer than expected. When I got the breakfast, I have to admit, it did not meet my expectations. But you need to remember, I am from Hawaii and this probably was my first authentic chicken fried steak and grits. The grits were like mushy, overcooked oatmeal - like very mushy - one would say it's overcooked. But what do I know? I don't know. The chicken fried steak was ok. The gravy was kind of sweet and I don't know.... I guess I expected more. Again, this is coming from someone from Hawaii who has never eaten this food before. I will say the prices were AMAZING! This location is just off Quaker Blvd. near the I-70 interchange and is quite convenient to the gaggle of airport hotels clustered around it. The building and the interior are reminiscent of Midwestern family-style restaurants. The facility is comfortable with ample seating, however, having both booths and tables. The breakfast menu features traditional Midwestern breakfast fare with pancakes, of course, as a cornerstone offering. We visited on a Friday morning and were seated right away. Our server, Amy, took care of us quickly and did a good job throughout our visit. My colleague went with the theme and got the big stack of six pancakes, too much for one sitting. He also got a side of fresh fruit, which was a nice offering. I went a little heavier and got the corned beef hash, a favorite of mine. Here, it comes with hash browns, which is a little unusual. I certainly appreciated this nuance. I also had some hash and potatoes left over to take away. We both thought our choices to be quite good. The coffee was not bad and more than adequate with food (not sure how it would be on its own, which is the ultimate test for coffee). Between the two of us with food, drink, tax and tip, we spent $42. By today's standards, that's not unreasonable. It was not a bad value considering we each had enough to take away for another meal. I would not hesitate to go back if another opportunity arose.

I got Grandpa's one pan skillet and my boyfriend got the sausage breakfast sandwich on croissant bread. All I gotta say is those chefs definitely knew what they were doing! The flavors were unique and intentional and I enjoyed every bite. The home fries (potatoes) were also so yummy and everything was cooked really well. There's nothing basic about borage and I love that! This place is a gem. They also have a cafe/market area where you can order drinks and pastries. I wish we waited until we got seated to order drinks because the menu was much more extensive than what I saw in the cafe and I would have ordered a different drink had I seen all the other options. The market has a fun selection of local goods, and the whole space feels thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The pepper jam was delicious and easily the best part, but it could not make up for the lack of texture in the rest of the sandwich. The chocolate croissant looked beautiful and had plenty of visible layers, but it was surprisingly dense and breadlike rather than light and flaky. Our cold brew and matcha were both good, although the matcha did not have much flavor despite being freshly whisked. Service was also slow and strangely disengaged, which made ordering feel more awkward than it needed to be. There is a lot to like about the atmosphere and idea behind Borage, but the execution during this visit did not live up to the presentation.
