    Mushroom and Swiss omelette
    Dempsey M.

Very solid breakfast/lunch spot on the Southside! We arrived at 11:30am and it was busy but we were still able to be seated right away. The space has a diner vibe with lots of booths, it's very casual. Service was speedy and we never had to wonder where our waitress was. We ordered the mushroom and Swiss omelette, along with eggs and links. Everything was delicious and came out of the kitchen in about ten minutes. They have a large menu of breakfast and lunch items with something for everyone. Next time I come back I definitely want to try the pancakes, since that seems to be a big feature of their menu.

Pretty average breakfast place. It's always crazy to me when a place is named after a kind of food and the food it's named after isn't very good. They have my least favorite pancakes of anywhere in the local breakfast market. Very busy all the time. Inside of the building is dull colors. The server was nice and took care of us even though she brought the wrong food at first. However, she made it right very quickly. I got the French toast and hash browns. It was good the hash browns were buttery and crispy but needed salt. The French toast was fine nothing special. We also got an omelette which came with two sides. She got grits and has browns. Grits were good. Omelette was large and had tons of veggies. A good breakfast but nothing too exciting.

I came here with my friend on a Sunday at noon and it was popping! We were seated pretty fast and service was also fast. I got a Western omelette and an order of French Toast. The omelette came with toast and I asked for my hashbrowns extra crispy. The omelette was super yummy and hit the spot because I've been craving diner/breakfast food. The French Toast was okay. I normally like to have a savory breakfast and a side of something sweet when I go out to brunch. Our sever Lizzie was amazing! She was fast, attentive, and super nice.

The pancakes smelled amazing! Flapjacks was recently added on DoorDash (or I just hadn't noticed it before). It's my brothers favorite breakfast restaurant so I thought I'd give it a try. I could smell the pancakes before I even opened the container. The portion sizes were huge! I had the Mexican omelet and pancakes, but I think I'd try something different next time. The omelet just tasted overwhelmingly like the sausage in it. There were some pictures of banana nut and turtle pancakes in the other Yelp reviews that looked amazing.

Food & service is always on point! I usually get the hungry man skillet, recommend it.

One of my all-time favorite breakfast places located on the south side of Indy. I always order the Hash Browns with gravy and 2 eggs over easy with a side of a pancakes. It's a special at the shop and always delicious. The coffee is to die for and I could honestly just come here for a cup of Joe every morning. They have plenty of dine-in tables available that have dividers to help with social distancing. Staff were friendly and fast. They offer take out options and even though it can get busy they seem to be able to get you in and out fairly quickly.

Our waitress was amazing! Anything we needed she was there...great customer service! Pancakes were fluffy, potatoes great and bacon crispy. My oldest daughter enjoyed her fries and burger and youngest daughter loved her patty melt! Flavored creamer for your coffee, hot chocolate filled with whipped cream and chocolate! Menu is so big you don't know what to eat! Lol So many options! Cashier was friendly as well! This will be my go to when I'm in Indy!

We started with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, and you can immediately tell they don't cut corners--the OJ tasted bright, fresh, and totally worth it. Now let's talk about the food... because WOW. The Signature Pancake Platter was unreal--fluffy, golden, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes that honestly might be some of the best I've had. Adding the soft poached eggs took it to another level (that perfect yolk ), and the hash browns were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how they should be. We also ordered the West Coast Omelet with feta, and it was packed with flavor--super fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and a generous portion. And yes... we had to add extra pancakes (no regrets), which were just as amazing the second time around. Shoutout to our server JJ, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that really stands out. Everything came out hot, fresh, and quickly, and the portions are more than generous for the price. You definitely won't leave hungry. The benches were the only downside, it is definitely time to replace them! But tables were clean and cute inside. If you're anywhere near here and craving a top-tier breakfast or brunch, don't even think twice--this spot is a MUST. Already planning my next visit!

The response felt dismissive, and there was no effort to see if another option was available or to provide a more customer-focused explanation. I understand that menu items may have limitations, but good service is about how those situations are handled. Unfortunately, the level of service I received today did not meet my expectations. Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't been in awhile.

My husband had the Morning Plate with pancakes, bacon and an egg. The thick sliced bacon is awesome with a ton of flavor and certainly memorable. He devoured the pancakes after drowning them in a cup of syrup. He enjoyed his breakfast lunch. I had the Veggie Bowl that included hash browns, topped with a nice mix of vegetables (spinach, pepper, broccoli, onions), and avocado smothered in cheese and topped with two eggs. My husband's coffee stayed full. The dining room is filled with booths that are comfortable for the most part. There is a 90's country vibe inside with stained glass and lots of green. I imagine people come in to drink coffee and gab. The only thing that I will call out was the host, who unwelcoming and definitely board with his job. I usually don't single out bad service, but this guy really sets a bad tone for the place. The restrooms are nice and clean. There's plenty of parking in the shared strip mall lot. For a great and unusual sandwich, get the Mama's Favorite: sliced hardboiled eggs, bacon, red onions, tomato, pickles, dill havarti cheese and horseradish aioli on slices of brioche bread. It sounds like a crazy amalgam of ingredients and a crotchety old man's dream sandwich, but just trust me! The Mama's Favorite might be a favorite for a reason. It's really freaking good. You're not going to want to make out with anyone after eating it, but you could also use it as a litmus test: How much do you want to make out with me? Are you willing to taste dill pickles and funky cheese and boiled eggs? Are you feeling lucky, punk? Because anyone who would make out with you after you ate this sandwich would be lucky, indeed. The soup of the day was Italian Wedding Soup, which had mini meatballs and spinach leaves and thin spaghetti noodles in a chicken broth-based soup. It was good.
