Pretty average breakfast place. It's always crazy to me when a place is named after a kind of food and the food it's named after isn't very good. They have my least favorite pancakes of anywhere in the local breakfast market. Very busy all the time. Inside of the building is dull colors. The server was nice and took care of us even though she brought the wrong food at first. However, she made it right very quickly. I got the French toast and hash browns. It was good the hash browns were buttery and crispy but needed salt. The French toast was fine nothing special. We also got an omelette which came with two sides. She got grits and has browns. Grits were good. Omelette was large and had tons of veggies. A good breakfast but nothing too exciting.

I came here with my friend on a Sunday at noon and it was popping! We were seated pretty fast and service was also fast. I got a Western omelette and an order of French Toast. The omelette came with toast and I asked for my hashbrowns extra crispy. The omelette was super yummy and hit the spot because I've been craving diner/breakfast food. The French Toast was okay. I normally like to have a savory breakfast and a side of something sweet when I go out to brunch. Our sever Lizzie was amazing! She was fast, attentive, and super nice.

The pancakes smelled amazing! Flapjacks was recently added on DoorDash (or I just hadn't noticed it before). It's my brothers favorite breakfast restaurant so I thought I'd give it a try. I could smell the pancakes before I even opened the container. The portion sizes were huge! I had the Mexican omelet and pancakes, but I think I'd try something different next time. The omelet just tasted overwhelmingly like the sausage in it. There were some pictures of banana nut and turtle pancakes in the other Yelp reviews that looked amazing.

Food & service is always on point! I usually get the hungry man skillet, recommend it.

One of my all-time favorite breakfast places located on the south side of Indy. I always order the Hash Browns with gravy and 2 eggs over easy with a side of a pancakes. It's a special at the shop and always delicious. The coffee is to die for and I could honestly just come here for a cup of Joe every morning. They have plenty of dine-in tables available that have dividers to help with social distancing. Staff were friendly and fast. They offer take out options and even though it can get busy they seem to be able to get you in and out fairly quickly.

Amazing South side breakfast diner that has become our "go-to". The service is always friendly, quick, and accommodating. I love all of their breakfast, but my favorite I've had was this blueberry lemon poppyseed French toast!! They never fail at delivering quality!!

Our waitress was amazing! Anything we needed she was there...great customer service! Pancakes were fluffy, potatoes great and bacon crispy. My oldest daughter enjoyed her fries and burger and youngest daughter loved her patty melt! Flavored creamer for your coffee, hot chocolate filled with whipped cream and chocolate! Menu is so big you don't know what to eat! Lol So many options! Cashier was friendly as well! This will be my go to when I'm in Indy!

Came here today, Sunday morning, the place was packed but we got seated in roughly 10 minutes. I ordered the House Scrambler with Pancakes and my guests ordered country fried steak, sausage gravy and pancakes. The server was very nice, friendly and quick service. The meals came quickly and they were terrific! Had a great dining experience. I highly recommend Flap Jacks!

We started with coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice, and you can immediately tell they don't cut corners--the OJ tasted bright, fresh, and totally worth it. Now let's talk about the food... because WOW. The Signature Pancake Platter was unreal--fluffy, golden, melt-in-your-mouth pancakes that honestly might be some of the best I've had. Adding the soft poached eggs took it to another level (that perfect yolk ), and the hash browns were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside--exactly how they should be. We also ordered the West Coast Omelet with feta, and it was packed with flavor--super fresh ingredients, cooked perfectly, and a generous portion. And yes... we had to add extra pancakes (no regrets), which were just as amazing the second time around. Shoutout to our server JJ, who was friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Service like that really stands out. Everything came out hot, fresh, and quickly, and the portions are more than generous for the price. You definitely won't leave hungry. Same great staff, same cool space, same open kitchen where a party of one like me can grab a counter seat and watch the chefs do their thing. I've honestly always enjoyed that part of the experience. Today I had the avocado toast with feta and an egg on top, and it totally hit the spot. Earlier this week I tried one of the newer menu items -- fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, plus a sample of jalapeño cornbread and Asian slaw. Incredible comfort food. And as someone who normally isn't much of a slaw person, I was surprised by how much I loved it. They also tried to tempt me with the roast beef special, which honestly looked great, but at 10:30 in the morning I just couldn't fully commit to roast beef yet. Maybe next time. The new name is a nice tribute to the owner's mother, Arleen, but thankfully it still feels like the Milktooth so many of us have come to enjoy over the years. It literally is across from my favorite Jimmy Johns. I went in and what really impressed me was the coffee flavor, fast service and fast delivery on food, the huge menu (crepes!!!) and friendly people. I thought to myself I will go back on Sunday and see what happens.....well today is Sunday. It was full when I got there and the hostess put me in a room that probably was for private parties and overflows but it was not the same well lit and quieter atmosphere from my last visit. So I snuck out to see if I could move and lo and behold I found an old friend I hadn't seen in years at the counter!!!! I love it!!! Then Nicole (who was there on my first visit too) at the counter, was also more than happy to move me back into the main room and said to me it was no problem and wanted me to always be comfortable and never hesitate to ask. So I am back on track. Yes the coffee was amazing again and again they got me a to go cup for when I left :) Last time I had a Greek omelet that included some french toast and it was quite affordable. I even had enough for dinner. Today, I got my mascarpone filled crepes and decided to get corned beef hash as well. (that is why to receipt is a little high). Once again I have more than enough for dinner. EVERYTHING was delicious and yes they have hazelnut creamer! This right on Meridian street headed downtown. They have so many great sandwiches etc on the menu---I cannot say enough about this place and having been in the restaurant business for a long time its not easy to impress me. The staff really is what makes this place. I have been to the so-bro non-chain restaurants that are more expensive, make you wait, make you get your own coffee, give you seats next to poles and are just not very friendly and I say---drive down the road to Lincoln Square on Meridian Street where there's plenty of parking, smiles, plenty of room to walk around and one of the cleanest stops in town.

I liked the complimentary coffee bar while waiting for a table. Since I came with a couple of friends and didn't have reservations, we ended up waiting somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour before being seated. One of the biggest drawbacks was the restroom situation. There are only two gender neutral restrooms, and the wait was incredibly long. I waited close to 30 minutes just to use the restroom. It seemed like only one restroom may have been operational because I only noticed people coming out of one. For a business this large and as busy as it gets, I don't feel that's enough restroom accommodation. The first available table was outside, so we decided to take it. Unfortunately, it wasn't the best experience. There was nearby construction, making it very loud and difficult to carry on conversations amongst our table. It was also a windy and chilly day, and I definitely underestimated the weather. I should have brought a coat! We weren't in the sun so it was too chilly. The strong wind constantly blew napkins and other items around the table, which became frustrating. During cooler days, outdoor heaters would make the patio much more comfortable. Even though I was uncomfortable, our server was friendly and attentive to us. I ordered the Morning Edition breakfast, and it was excellent. I liked the variety of items included, everything tasted good, and the portion size was just right for me. I finished every bite and left satisfied. I really enjoyed the potatoes and cinnamon toast. I wish the biscuits were just a touch more crispy on the outside. But this is me nitpicking. For great biscuits and gravy, go to Good Morning Mama's. For a great and unusual sandwich, get the Mama's Favorite: sliced hardboiled eggs, bacon, red onions, tomato, pickles, dill havarti cheese and horseradish aioli on slices of brioche bread. It sounds like a crazy amalgam of ingredients and a crotchety old man's dream sandwich, but just trust me! The Mama's Favorite might be a favorite for a reason. It's really freaking good. You're not going to want to make out with anyone after eating it, but you could also use it as a litmus test: How much do you want to make out with me? Are you willing to taste dill pickles and funky cheese and boiled eggs? Are you feeling lucky, punk? Because anyone who would make out with you after you ate this sandwich would be lucky, indeed.
