We haven't been to an IHOP since they closed the Avon location. Thought we would try this one out. I think they were shorthanded because there was no one at the desk and we had to wait. Lot of people got tired of waiting and left but we stuck around. I got the strawberry cheesecake waffle, and it was really good just like before. Hubby got the two eggs, two meats, fried potatoes, and toast which he enjoyed it also. Coffee was good but didn't stay hot long enough. Our waitress was new she was awesome. Got wrong order...eventually they got it right. Food quality ...2 star. Pancakes were leathery. Butter was rock hard (not able to melt on pancakes.) Omelet was a mess. This place is mis-named . My last trip to IHOP ever.....They no longer have stuffed French toast :( Note I have not been here in over 3yrs but still very disappointed after eating it for over 10yrs when we did go. Opted for the buttermilk biscuit with bacon egg and cheese with French fries as my side. This was a disaster, they use a liquid cheese , queso, which made this super messy!! Had to eat with a fork, then there is the bacon which was not crispy at all!! The biscuits was flaky but not a good choice for this sandwich. The French fries were so blah...only plus was there was so much queso cheese on the side to dip them in. The strawberry cheesecake pancakes were ok but definitely needed more more strawberry syrup but our waitress never came back so we were not able to ask if they had a syrup to add. The vanilla cold brew was just cold coffee with a foam on top but they bring vanilla creamers to add yourself...big disappointment. The pablano omelette was descent, had steak and avocado on top. Service was lacking, Kimera never visited except to take the order, delivered the food and finally the bill. Went on Sunday (Father's Day ) with my wife there was a lot of people in the resteraunt already sat down..when we came in 2 parties were ahead of us ..we were told 10 minute wait which was fine ..as we waited the lobby started to fill up quick We finally got seated and ordered our drinks they came out in a decent amount of time, Once we made our choice on what we were going to have we made small talk and I watched around the resteraunt after I seen people who came in after us and seated well after us got here food before we did ( they had a burger and fries and pancakes from what I could see) we had eggs bacon pancakes French toast and biscuits and gravy..and I know everything isn't being made from scratch in the back and most is sitting in a pan keeping it warm so no reason food should have taken so long Our waiter came back to our table and told us we were going to get 20 percent off our because the food was taking so long ..was told our food should be out any minute..then another 15 minutes go by and then it came out ... sat for an hour No apologies no nothing Before I could even tell the waiter I wanted hot sauce for my eggs he was gone Finally I had to get a waitress from another table to grab the manager because now the eggs were cold and then to top it off we never got our pancakes I explained this all to the manager I even offered to pay She comped the bill but we left all the food I explained to her everything that happened and she offered to make pancakes to go ..it's like who wants pancakes to go??? We had other errands to run Had we known it was going to be such a long wait for our food and not getting everything we ordered we would have went somewhere else We wasted our time and didn't even eat Needless to say I would stay clear of this ihop I know we will be from now on..at least at McDonald's or Burger King we could have gotten our food fast and hot and been on our way in.no time Not sure how to reply to the owner who commented below so this is how it's going No we won't be back We keep a list of places that sucked so we know to not go back to them again The damage was already done and time was wasted I hope this review helps people avoid this place read more

Unfortunately this review is not good. Cannot rate the food as we did not stay. 10 minutes to seat on a Sunday was a good time. But after sitting for over 20 minutes with servers just standing and talking next to us but ignoring us we went ahead and left for someplace that wanted our business or at least hired and trained people properly. read more

We really enjoyed our meal here! The host/server was a really sweet and professional young man. The restaurant was really clean and presentable. The only downside is that service was a little slow. But other than that, we had a great time. We went late at night and had breakfast for dinner. My daughter really enjoyed her smiley face pancake. I got the classic breakfast burrito with sausage and I upgraded my side to the cinnamon crapes. I am SO, SO thrilled that IHOP brought back the Cinna-stack pancakes! But I decided to go out on a limb and try the crêpes instead. Normally I'm a fan of having more filling, but I actually feel like it overwhelmed the thin crêpe. If stuck between the two, I would definitely recommend doing the pancakes. My burrito was well folded and definitely hit the spot. I would recommend this IHOP location for sure! read more

Visited the other morning since IHOP has just recently reopened. It was pretty quiet and it took a few minutes for a staff member to come out from the back to seat us. Luckily our server was excellent. Always checking in us and making sure we had topped off coffee. IHOP has plenty of options and I had the Lingonberry crepes which was a nice portion without being too heavy. Also the Lingonberries aren't overly sweet like some of the other fruit options. My Mom had the 2x2x2 which was eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes. She thought it all came out Luke warm at best. Overall not bad and it's good to see the business open again. read more

Is a Saturday night 6:20 is only 2 of us . They have a new girl serving she is very nice but obviously don't have the experience to serve I feel bad she is apologizing to every single table . Is been almost 40 minutes after we got here and just got our drinks . I am a server and is soo frustrating to see someone struggling trying to do there job . They seriously need new management in this location. We walked in only to find 4 other families in front of us waiting to be seated. There was no greeter up front to seat anyone. We figured they were just low of staff as are most places this day. Finally a young lady looked around the corner and looked surprised to see a lobby full of people waiting to be seated. Once she finally sat us we had a full view into the kitchen area where we watched plenty of young staff members all standing around joking and having fun during our entire visit. At one point after waiting for the hope of our waitress ever showing up again to offer us refills, I finally walked my empty glass up to the entrance of the kitchen and asked if I could get a refill if it wasn't too much trouble. IHOP has been closed for several years in Brownsburg. We came here bc they have all new management and staff. I have to say the service was on point and the food was good. It was just my husband and I for lunch. When we received our bill it was $42. We had pancakes, bacon, hasbrowns each. Not sure how that got to $42. That was without tip. I didn't really have a lot of faith in how good this would be. I've been in Brownburg a few years now and I've never been to this IHOP. I've heard things and I've read reviews that weren't super promising. Decided to give er a go since they have $5 all-you-can-eat pancakes right now and it's been a while since I'd heard anything negative. The restaurant is clean inside but pretty slow. I think there were 4 tables including us. Macee was our hostess and our waiter. She was extremely nice and attentive. Can't say enough good things about her. My gf got a BLT and onion rings. My daughter got double chocolate chocolate pancakes, hash browns, two eggs sunny side up and ham breakfast. I had a classic burger and fries with a two stack of pancakes on the side. My daughter loved her pancakes. Her breakfast came out with scrambled eggs and bacon. Soon after, Macee came out with two sunny side up eggs and ham and said she picked up the wrong thing. Are assured us we wouldn't have to pay extra or anything. We laughed about it and everything was fine. My gf went on and on about how good her blt and onion rings were and my burger was hot and fresh and great. The food and service really was above and beyond what I expected and it was nice to know we have another place to come for breakfast that we'd written off before. IHOP is one of the breakfast stops I enjoy making. This mornings stop was a unique one for me. The restaurant was not busy and we had our selection of seats. We asked for a booth and as we were taken to a seat the waitress was finishing a wipe down on. We were glad for that. Unfortunately though, the booth seats had scattered pieces of fried food on them and grease marks. This was cleaned off after I drew attention to it.To be honest, I was taken back as this is unusual for my experiences here. Despite the clean up, our meal and time was good. I've not been to an IHOP in years. It has been so long that I honestly don't remember when I was last at one. But, my wife and I were on a road trip, we were starving, and IHOP was really the only chance we could have to find a decent, possibly gluten-free breakfast. Did you know IHOP has gluten-free pancakes? Neither did we. They tasted like a birthday cake to me. They were light, they were fluffy, but they were also dense (I know that sounds weird). They were also quite delicious! We also had eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Now that we know you can safely eat gluten-free at IHOP, we'll be visiting more locations closer to our home. Cheers! read more

We went to IHOP in Brownsburg around 7 pm on Christmas night (12/25/24). They were somewhat busy, but we were seated right away. There were 7 in our party. Many was our waitress. She may have been the only waitress (not really sure) but there were other people there helping deliver food and clearing tables. We waited over an hour to get our food. There was no update during that time about our food. We were pretty much left on our own. Once our food did arrive we had to wait to get drink refills, extra napkins, a steak knife and other things that were forgotten. When asking for this Macy would roll her eyes and when returning to the table just kind of threw things on the table. I ordered the 10 piece shrimp but got the 5 piece. I didnt say anything since it took so long to get our food. When we got our bill I was charged for the 10 piece ($14.99). I told Macy about it and she became argumentative and said she would discount it. I didn't want a discount I wanted the price of the 5 piece ($9.99) so I asked for a menu to make sure I was correct. She refused to bring 1 until I told her I wasn't paying the bill until I saw it. Once I had the menu and told her the price difference she agreed to change the price. When I handed her the bill back she snatched it out of my hand. Her behavior was very unbecoming. I realize they were busy, but that was no way to act. It didn't save her any time. read more

Been to this location 4 times in 6 weeks. Menu is extensive and fun. Servers always friendly and attentive. I believe if more people knew about the special Ihoppy Menu they would be packed. Just gave this location another try Saturday afternoon with the family. Very slow day at Ihop only 1 waitress, and maybe a helper. Sat for 40 mins after ordering to get our food. I had stopped the waitress and asked how long it would be, she just stared at me and said she didn't know. Finally she got the hint and said, "would you like me to ask??". Food was fair at best, had to ask for every refill. They need some help for sure, won't be back in the foreseeable future. read more

Look. I don't like to review chain restaurants, but I'm going to review IHOP. Why did my family find itself at IHOP? My kid works as a valet, and he comes home one night around 9PM on a Friday, and none of have eaten. In our next of the woods there's not a lot of late night dining options if you're under twenty-one, so on a coin flip between two chain restaurants, IHOP it is. On the occasion that I review a chain restaurant like IHOP, I review with low expectations in mind. For one thing, it's an IHOP, a fair expectation would be delicious, greasy breakfast foods, and average (probably deep fried) lunch and dinner options. Also, you know, it's post-COVID, and I just watched an Aziz Ansari special on Netflix where he talks about how everything post-COVID sucks a little more, and that's totally true. Especially in fast food and chain restaurants. I guess what I'm saying is I have an understanding that the kids working at IHOP, which feels perpetually short-staffed, they're probably overworked and underappreciated, I don't want to bust their balls, but I also feel like expecting average service, consistency, and communication is fair. For the three of us I can tell you we ordered (1) chick strip dinner (1) appetizer sampler, and (1) order of pancakes. Ten minutes after we place our order, a party of three (same as us) is seated nearby, they place their order and not only does their food come out fast and hot, it comes out about five minutes before our order. I don't know how others feel about that, but when service is painfully slow but you're trying to exercise patience, seeing a nearby table order after you and be served before you, that's annoying. And I know, you're probably thinking, dude, it's all the deep fried food you ordered, it has to cook! and I'd agree with that, which is why I sat there annoyed and hungry, but exercising patience. When our food does come out, my stupid chicken strips, visually you can tell they're undercooked. Here's the weird thing. My wife ordered the appetizer sampler, which according to the menu should be "mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and buttermilk chicken breast strips." All that comes out in greasy abundance, and also loaded with fries. My wife and I compared our plates, and my wife actually had more chicken fingers and more fries than my dinner, PLUS she had mozzarella sticks and onion rings, all that for a dollar more than I paid. Weird right? Well, back to the undercooked chicken strips, clearly the oil wasn't up to temperature, and since all of our food was fried it was kind of a soggy, greasy mess. Chicken sliding out of breading, oil pooling on your plate, that type of thing. Our son's pancakes were good though, and maybe that's the lesson here. Don't get me wrong, the place is always fairly clean when I come in. The servers have always been friendly and the food is usually pretty good. However, the other night a few friends and I stopped in for some food around 1:00 AM. We sat down and waited to be seated and after 10 minutes rolls by, we're getting a lil concerned. We keep talking though and waiting. The music that was playing seems to get louder it was clear that they were ignoring us. Left soon after that. Never checked on us. Everyone around us was asking him for their checks. He is probably new and I understand that. The manager was there. Sitting at a table talking to an older couple. We often stop at this IHOP on our way home from Indy. Never again. The place was filthy too. I drove up and there was only one very old car in the parking lot and I wondered if I should go in. A very pleasant young lady waited on me and was super patient because I was on the phone.I debated on Bob Evans and IHOP. I chose IHOP because I don't care for Bob Evans coffee. The waitress gave me several options for flavored creamers. The coffee was great! I love that they give you a carafe of coffee so you can enjoy another cup when you want.The food was hot and delicious! Again, our waitress gave several options of flavored syrup, but I chose the original. It was very good. The music was nice and everything appeared clean. The smell was nice. That's important to me. The server seated the lady in front of me and gathered her coffee before seating any of the 5 people in line then taking their orders. Once seated it was almost 10 minutes before my order was taken. The pancakes were ok and the sausage link I paid 2.99 for were like the .99 frozen links from the grocery. The syrup containers pour almost no syrup as usual. You have to unscrew the lid to pour properly. Makes you wonder when the last time the syrup containers were cleaned. The coffee was delicious and overall the food was average. The restaurant has underwent new management after reopening. I had been there twice since and it was surprisingly great. Today was absolutely awful. First, they ran out of kids menus, silverware(they gave us plastic), and they don't use syrup bottles anymore so they gave us to go packets of syrup for our breakfast. Maybe it's a supply problem, fine. But my server spilled some of my coffee, looked at it, then got our order, came back later and asked if I needed anything so I asked for napkins to wipe up the coffee? She sat them down in front of me, while I wiped up the coffee. The table behind me got drinks and then waited over 35 mins and left because no one came for their order. Table next to me sat ungreeted for at least 20 mins, before she too left. Oh, and the best part was sitting near the kitchen/server station and listening to the staff make fun of their patrons. I try to be patient during these times, but there were plenty of workers, and I saw other servers more than I saw my own. She finally gave me the check, and I asked if I had to check out at front or with her, and she said with her and then she never came back. read more

As a vacation "treat" to my daughter, I took her to IHOP, by her request, for strawberry/banana crepes. There was only 1 family in the restaurant at 11:30am. We were quickly seated. To start out with, my daughter ordered an Oreo shake and I ordered coffee and ice water. The waiter came back with her shake, dripping all down the sides of the glass. My "old" coffee was brought out later and no ice water. My daughter ordered her crepes that she was craving but was told that they were out of crepes. She opted, instead for the strawberry pancakes and added bananas along with a steak omelet. I ordered the Blueberry french toast combo that came with 2 eggs, 2 crispy pieces of bacon and hashbrowns. The waiter did not even write down the order. All of my daughter's food was brought as well as my eggs, etc......but plain pancakes were given to me. I reminded the waiter that I ordered the blueberry french toast. He took away the pancakes and said he would get the french toast. I had time to eat my plate of eggs, bacon and hashbrowns and the french toast never appeared. I had to ask the waiter, again, about it. He finally brought back plain french toast with a few blueberries thrown over the top and packaged maple syrup. I asked about blueberry syrup and was told that he may have some in the very back and he would have to check. He brought back 2 small "cups" of blueberry syrup that I believe was for the blueberry lemonades. In addition, we had overheard another table being told that they were out of crepes, seasonal fruit and something else. Step it up IHOP, there is a Walmart across the street! My daughter stated that her food was okay and my food was just okay, as well. The bacon wasn't crispy, the french toast was undercooked and the coffee was either stale or old. The waiter was very nice but had to keep coming back to the table for things that weren't missed or incorrect. I do not believe we will be going back. We should have paid for our drinks and went to Bob Evans in the same area. I did suggest that to my daughter but she was willing to give IHOP a chance. How unfortunate. read more

Service is usually pretty slow and it takes forever to get your food. The syrups containers are dirty and it doesn't seem like the waiters enjoy their job. Wish it was better since it's usually not packed, but that's because people have figured out it is a time COMMITMENT if you want to eat there. read more

Went to this IHOP with the expectation of having a warm scrumptious meal to satisfy my appetite after a very long car ride. I have always been a rather big fan of IHOP and have never had an experience quite as frazzling as this. We walk in to the place, smiles on our faces and eagerness in our stomachs. We are greeted by a woman who had more sass in her pinky than I have in my whole body. Not only did she judge us after asking some rather unnecessary questions, she also informed us that we'd have a terrible wait for our food. Are you kidding me?!?! It's an IHOP Barbra, 30-40 minutes for pancakes that aren't even that good? Sadly but surely we made up our minds and headed out. I feel just awful about my experience at IHOP, I suspect this attitude from the place is caused by the new ridiculous name of IHOB. No one likes change Barbra. The food was good, not disappointed. My problem was with the server i had. Name was Hailey. She was a decent server, but anytime she was in the back, i could hear her talking crap about our table. She complained about a lot when she walked away. I'm not sure if she knows the whole place can hear her from the back or not, but someone should inform her.
