I'd give this visit a 4.5, the only downside was slightly slow on getting our order taken after bread came. The appetizers, food and refills were prompt. The bread was fresh, appetizers fresh and very tasty and my food was delicious. The restaurant is kind of showing its age and could do for an upgrade but appeared clean.

After a long day of work, neither of us felt like cooking, so we figured we'd swing by Logan's for dinner. Our last visit was pretty solid, so we thought why not? It was a Saturday night, so I expected a packed house, but surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. The décor is still one of my favorite parts of this place -- lots of local touches, Ohio State gear on the walls, and that relaxed roadhouse vibe. We were seated right away, and it took a few minutes before a server came over. No big deal. I went with the Create Your Own Combo -- it comes with a salad (Caesar or side salad), an entrée, a drink, and those endless dinner rolls. I chose the Caesar salad, chicken tenders with fries, and an Arnold Palmer. Now, I'm someone who actually likes getting my salad before my meal, but that didn't really happen here. They brought out my salad and, no joke, maybe 30 seconds later my entrée showed up. So I just ate everything together. Salad was good -- cold, fresh, and nicely dressed. The chicken tenders... well, you get four, but they were definitely on the smaller side and mostly breading. The fries were just okay, regular fries, and kind of lukewarm. Honestly, the rolls and the salad ended up being the best part of my meal. For $14.95, I was hoping for bigger tenders and hot fries, at least. Would I come back? Sure. Logan's isn't off my list, but next time I'll probably go with a burger or a different entrée. On the positive side, my wife had a much better experience -- she ordered the Anything & Everything Salad and really enjoyed hers. So maybe it just wasn't my night.

The service was quick and they gave a lot of breads and cinnamon butter for it. The overall experience was very good .

First time at this restaurant and we thought it tasted pretty good. The rolls were warm and fresh. Our salads were fresh and crispy. We both ordered the Original Roadies and they were tasty little hamburger patties. It was after 8:30 at night and it felt like we were the only diners on a Tuesday evening. They are open until 10:00. The restaurant was very clean. Country music was playing in the background. Sports TV was available. I would definitely come back.

Went here for dinner. The first impression was not good as we sat for awhile without anyone acknowledging we were there while we saw 4 different servers in the bar area. Finally our server arrived. She was very friendly. I had the Anything & Everything Salad. The salad had mesquite grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, bacon, walnuts, cranberries, blue cheese, egg and tomato. The salad looked fresh and and the Chicken was hot. We were also served 3 hot, soft rolls. My drink was never refilled. The ambiance was nice and the decor was very nice.

Very good service and the food was great. The place was very clean. The wait staff checked on us often. There was no shortage of drinks and the best butter bread.

We attended on a Sunday afternoon and it was really busy. Only open two weeks, in the middle of March Madness, the restaurant was definitely in the middle of a stress test. We were greeted pleasantly and seated within quoted time of 30 minutes. The floor plans are much more open and the location is a little smaller then I remember the last times Logan's were in the market. The server was awesome and attentive and the manager stopped by the table to make sure we were ok. Rolls were hot and fresh and delicious. Entrees were delivered in a timely manner and tasted good. I think that the tune on food was so quick maybe not fully marinated on something's like onions and mushrooms, buts still good. I would really be interested in coming back on a weeknight in a month or so and see how excellent they are calling and executing the plays!

We decided to try the new location in Grove City. My wife and I have worked in food service before so we know new locations face growing pain challenges with new employees, management, processes, etc. Even with allowing for that, we were not impressed in the slightest with Logan's. We arrived an hour after they opened on. Sunday. We were expecting a wait, but were able to get a seat at the bar immediately. We decided to skip appetizers and go straight to the entrees. I ordered the 16oz ribeye medium rare with broccoli and fries. Mindy got the 6oz sirloin with salad and green beans. She requested it to be cooked blue rare but the server said they could not serve it cooked that way so she went with rare. While waiting for our food, we were given rolls with butter. They looked delicious and were just okay. The butter did not taste like butter so I am guessing it was tasteless whipped margarine. When our dinners arrived, they looked decent. The food runner asked us to cut into the steaks to ensure they were cooked correctly. The portion I cut into on my steak looked good. Mindy's steak looked medium rare at best. When we started eating the first thing that stood out was the lack of flavor in the steak. I understand we like our food well seasoned and restaurants have to appeal the masses, but getting a flavorless piece of meat is unacceptable. I actually used A-1 for the first time in YEARS trying to make it palatable. The sides were okay, but nothing great. As for the service, primary server was okay but she was overwhelmed. There was a guy who was helping (we are assuming a corporate trainer because he was all over the restaurant) who was not really helping. Mindy had eaten less than half of her salad and was logging her food in her food app. He just walked up and took the salad without asking if she was done. Fortunately she caught it and he has not taken it away. Overall the only good things about the location were that we were able to get seated immediately and that they offer a military veteran discount. Everything else needed massive improvements. We may try again in 6-8 months after they get settled but not before then.

Needed lunch and thought about North High Street, but was not already mentally preparing to fight for parking like it's a Black Friday sale in 2003. Audible called. Swung into Grove City instead. Smart move. Possibly my best decision since I stopped trusting gas station hotdogs. After some extensive research (opened Yelp Columbus judged harshly, moved on), I had three requirements: 1. Not a cookie-cutter chain 2. Somewhere new 3. A menu that wouldn't trigger "I don't see anything I like" syndrome Enter: Broadway Plates & Pints 4008 Broadway, Grove City Grove City is that sweet spot... close enough to Columbus to feel alive, but still has that "people wave at you for no reason" energy. Parked on the street like a rookie, only to later discover there's parking behind everything. If you can't find a spot, just check the rear. Yes, I said it. Walked in, grabbed a seat. Smaller place, but in a good way. Elevated tables, bar seating, normal tables for us normal-ish folks. Big windows for prime people-watching. My dimpled sidekick even got a wave from a random passerby. #Friendly #ShesGotFans Then... plot twist... Cleveland Ketchup Company Ketchup sitting on the table. Didn't even know ketchup could have a hometown. #OH.. All-natural, Ohio-made, no junk. And yeah... it's actually really good. The Bald Bunch supports local, even if it's tomatoes living their best life. Check Cleveland Ketchup Company out. They have plenty of locally sourced condiment options. #supportlocal Server Emma B rolls up, keeps it simple. Water and a Michelob ULTRA for me. Because hydration matters... and so does survival. We were starving, so appetizer time: Fried Mozzarella Triangles Hot, crispy, did the job. Not life-changing, not disappointing. The Toyota Camry of appetizers. Reliable. Gets you where you need to go. Now the menu... solid lineup. Burgers, wings, calzones, sandwiches, enough options to make commitment issues flare up. I was bouncing between a calzone, Italian sub, or burger... Then I saw it... THE KRAKEN And listen... you don't order The Kraken. You summon it. This thing shows up like it just crawled out of the Atlantic looking for revenge: * THREE patties (because one or two is for amateurs) * Bacon * American cheese * Caramelized onions * Onion ring * Steak aioli * Brioche bun * AND a honey butter pretzel sitting on top like a crown Just in case was not already enough calories. This wasn't lunch. This was a full-contact event. Immediately ate the onion ring and honey butter pretzel solo like a savage. Then went to work. Multiple napkins required. Not first-date safe. Not job interview safe. Possibly not OSHA approved. But man... it was GOOD. Patties cooked right. Bacon had that perfect bite. Aioli and onions brought it all together like a greasy symphony. Left full... borderline questioning life choices... but zero regrets. Fries? Solid. Pretzel Topper? Sneaky good. Honestly might go back just for those. Service? Emma B crushed it. Drinks stayed filled, no disappearing act, no "I'll be right back" and then vanishing into another dimension. Now... let's talk price. $54.25 for lunch. Look... I get it. Everything costs more now. But I'm still gonna complain about it like it's my full-time job. Either prices come down or someone needs to give me a raise. Preferably both. And one more thing... Beer was cold. BUT NOT IN A FROSTED MUG. Unacceptable. Somewhere, Congress is wasting time when they could be solving real issues like this. Draft beer should never warm up mid-drink. That's just science. Final Rating: ‍‍‍‍ - 4 out of 5 Bald Heads Pros: * Parking (once you stop ignoring the back lot like I did) * Great people-watching windows * Filling, legit good food * Friendly, attentive staff Cons: * No frosted mugs (we can fix this, I believe in you) * Prices... but also, apparently I just complain now #OldMan If you're cruising through Grove City and want solid food, a relaxed vibe, and a burger that might require a waiver... this is your spot. And - order some Ohio Condiments at Cleveland Ketchup Company. #FreeShipping #SupportLocal #BaldApproved #ReleaseTheKraken

I'll definitely order the Pork rinds over fries. They came out hissing and popping like a plate of fajitas and were awesome. Dunking them in the hot garlic butter was a bonus, damn near spiritual experience. Wash it down with whatever IPA the bartender grabbed me and I'm in heaven. Run the BBQ Costco homeless wings thru the Hot Garlic butter and suddenly the game changes. Now I realize it's all about the sauce. Somebody create an "It's all about the sauce" t-shirt and I'm buying one. I swear these pork rinds are regenerating. Or I need to ask the bartender exactly what I'm drinking. Wrapping it up, I probably would skip the homeless wings. They remind me of the at home air fryer bottom dwellers. So stick to wing wings. OK I'm finished. I have to say, the baked potato was one of the better baked potatoes I've ever had. It was just perfect, crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and it tasted really good. I told the server, whatever you're doing, and wherever you're getting those potatoes from, don't change a thing. The baked potato was just perfect. I had a hamburger that was also very delicious. I did ask for the sauce on the side, and I'm glad I did, because I didn't love the sauce, but the burger itself was just plain outstanding. Really delicious. It was perfectly cooked and had a nice smoky undertone. I don't usually love salads, but my salad was crisp, delicious, and made just the way I like it. The tomatoes were especially fresh and good for this time of year. The server was very attentive. I know she had a lot of tables, but she took care of me perfectly. Serving sizes are large, and I should also add that the bread is really, really good and comes out hot with real butter. Honestly, when I get margarine in a restaurant, that's a big knock for me. I know butter costs a little more, but it makes a big difference. The bread was perfectly cooked, soft on the inside with a nice little bit of a crunch to it. I'd characterize it as kind of a wheat bread with maybe a little bit multi-grains added in... but it was pretty standard wheat but very delicious. Normally I complain abour beverages that cost three dollars and fifty cents... the truth be told the overall price was reasonable for the meal as a whole.
