I ordered bbq brisket nachos they were the worst I ever had the approx 8 small cubes of brisket were like dried up rocks. Very small portion of chips just enough to cover the plate. Came here on a busy Saturday night. The place is big. Plenty of seating and TV's open atmosphere. We were a table of 6. The server was nice and he was very attentive. One of the couples with us got a flight of beers each and they enjoyed those. They have bottled home made root beer and that was good. I got a chocolate coconut stout. It was ok. Didn't taste a lot of coconut. They also have mixed drinks. So plenty of options. Now the food it a different story. They specialize in BBQ. But you don't smell it throughout the restaurant. Which is weird for homemade BBQ. I got the brisket quesadilla. Just ok. Not filled very much. It's an appetizer so it's not too big. But it was just ok. The smoked pot pie looked good and I am told it was, so was the marble sandwich. Cajun pasta looked dood but tasted soapy. Like the dish was not rinsed well. And finally the Buffalo chicken wrap. The couple who ordered it ordered no ranch but blue cheese and Mac and cheese side. They got ranch and fries. So completely wrong. They offered to remake but they declined. The Manager came by and gave the 30% off the bill. Which was nice. It's all in how you react. They were OK with that. But there was a definite disconnect. It wasn't horrible just an average kinda sports bar. Drinks good. Food disappointing. Plenty of parking. They have the top golf simulator. Not sure when you can play with that. Nice little place. Same food and beer as the Strongsville location, so no worries about either! Decor is really pleasant and modern. This is out of my way a bit, so I don't visit this location often but if you are in Brunswick, this is a must visit. read more

This was my third time at this location. Service has been fine, but I've had friends who have had terrible service. I came for trivia night and they had martinis on special for the theme. The "fun" part of a martini is the glass, but I was served my drink in a vodka glass. The food at the Strongsville location we used to get years ago was pretty good. Ever since they went to this new menu it's been below average. Everything is DRY. Friend had a pulled pork sandwich and the bun was toasted, but almost to cover a stale old bun. It was just dry, flaking, and cracking when she took a bite. My husband did not like the texture of the sausage or the taste of the wings. I just ordered some chicken tenders tonight to go with my chili. They were just frozen tenders over breaded and dry. The chili is literally the only good consistant thing on the menu. The food was amazing and full of flavor! The service was great, we even got an employee mentoring someone at our table. The atmosphere was also nice. Lots of space and there was a live band outside. I was really looking forward to trying the smoked meats at Brew Kettle since they hype up their in-house BBQ, but what a massive disappointment. The meat I ordered from the Pit Boss section (or whatever they call their smoked pit special) was absolutely terrible--dry as cardboard, completely tasteless, and zero smoke flavor to speak of. It was like they forgot to season it, overcooked it to the point of jerky, and then served it anyway. I could barely chew through the brisket; it had no tenderness, no bark, no nothing. The parking lot was almost empty at 6:00 on a Saturday - it was an omen. When we walked in, we were seated immediately. There were only two other tables occupied. After about 10 minutes, I walked to the desk and asked if we could get a server so we could place an order. Five minutes later - no server. As I was leaving, I spike with a manager. I don't remember an apology, just that there was plenty of staff and that they should have taken care of us. We left. Don't think we'll be back here again. read more

So very disappointed. What happened to The Brew Kettle? Dined there with guests on Sunday Feb 2nd. The service was just fine - in fact I would say it was very good. But the food? Awful - I ordered the BBQ Mac n Cheese - described as "creamy mac n cheese" with pulled pork and bbq sauce. The mac n cheese was just elbow macaroni with a bit of white sauce and raw scallions sprinkled on top - it had no flavor and there was no sauce whatsoever - the pork was more fat than meat. When I asked the kitchen manager for sauce, she brought out COLD BBQ sauce. My guest ordered wings - they were burned and dry. The manager did have another batch prepared and they were nearly as bad - we left them on the table - all in all the food had no flavor - it was a bad experience and we won't recommend nor will we ever return read more

The wife and I went to this place the other night. It's been open for a couple months now. They weren't that busy we sat outside on the patio. The service was super slow. The appetizer was small the menu said shareable.We waited a long time to get our food. My wife ordered the chicken Caprice sandwich. It was missing half the stuff it was supposed to have. I ordered wings the rub was not good and limited choice on the sauce. after receiving our food, we then waited five minutes or so, and ask if we could have some silverware and napkins, which were never provided to us.. so 10 minutes later the waitress brings out the condiment caddy . The inside was nice. The patio was nice the food below average and the service absolute terrible. Do not recommend this to anyone There's a lot better places. read more

Great beer selection! Many of their beers on tap along with a few guest taps. We ordered brisket quesadillas and they were excellent. Meat was tender, good sauce and full of flavor. We also had the cheesesteak sandwich. The meat was tender, cheese sauce was good and I love that it had red peppers not green. The bun was very soft and both meals came out hot from the oven. The fries were double fried, not my favorite, but they weren't bad and they offered malt vinegar so it was a win. We sat at the bar and the service was great! The beer is great, servers were decent on a busy Friday night. Although, I had the chicken fried steak sandwich and it's comparable to deep frying a raw hide dog bone and putting it in between a potato roll. Fries were alright. Strongsville location seems to have better food. They still charged me my food after only eating 2 bites out my sandwich. Would not recommend eating here but the beer is pretty good.
