We tried the Brewery at LBK and while the beer and food were excellent the service was poor. All of our food came out at different times and the beer came out well after the food. I will say the quality of the food was great with the exception of the burger. Their beer selection was very good and there was something for everyone. A must try- goat cheese fritters and crab hush puppies!! The German style Kolsch was also very tasty. I would give this place another try. read more

We stoppes in here as we were in town for a football game and we always like to check out the local breweries wherever we are. LBK has a nice indoor and outdoor space and are located in downtown Lubbock. We ordered a beer flight which had 6 pours, more than most flights have, and was a reasonable price at $20. On the downside they had only 9 beers on tap, and two were IPAs which we don't like, so we basically just sampled everything. A little more variety would be nice. We enjoyed the oyster stout, the Oktoberfest and the kolsch. Pints were only $4 which again is quite reasonable. They have good food too and start serving after 5. We had the crab hush puppies, the burger, and the hot chicken sandwich. The amount of fries you get with those sandwiches is truly insane. One third to one fourth would have been ample. Service was very good but the food does come out pretty slow. Overall a nice experience and would recommend. read more

This place is magical. Ralph did a phenomenal job aerving us. Heremy the manager is a true gentleman. The brewery has a slightly new menu every night from the West Table across the foyer. Always fantastic service and food, beer too. You can order anything alcohol here too if stocked at the West Table. Be sure to order the life-changing Patty Melt with mushrooms- I'm a burger snob and their patty melt killed it. Great value and taste. We'll be back. read more

Located at the heart of downtown Lubbock. I stopped by for a drink while waiting for my table at their sister restaurant. I was surprised by the food selection they had. I tried out the Thai soup which was amazing. Although they are known for their beer, they also had a good list of cocktails. I tried out their old fashioned made with hop infused bourbon. This may have been a bit too hoppy for me but I love the unique twist. read more

Always looking to try new beer spots, I stumbled across this spot waiting for my friend to get off of work. I tried two beers and a mixed drink and am happy to report all beverages consumed were tasty! The Doc Chilton, to me is their staple beer. It was a nice fruity taste, and the cool part is they brew different seasonal variations of it. Who doesn't like a versatile, tasty beer? The staff was super friendly and assertive attending to me as well as other patrons. Next time I come back I'll swing by here and recommend if you have time to stop by! read more

The Brewery is amazing. I am always impressed by their mixed drinks and brewed cocktails. I used to set an alarm during the shutdown so I could order them right away when they put them in stock because they sold out so fast. They are incredible! My last experience here was yesterday. My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary. Our server was Jeremy. He delivered top notch service, and was just the absolute best. Friendly, professional, and obviously a pro. I had the pain killer drink, my boyfriend had the Austin mule. Both delicious! We shared the crab hush puppies and Dirk's chicken tenders (also an amazing place). My favorite drink here is the Natcha Matcha but I wanted to try something new. I believe the cocktails are from The West Table end but they're able to serve them there as well, as well as the food. Other notably excellent servers I've had here in the past include Janessa, Jim, Kyle, and Sam. And all the cooks are amazing, but Brandon & Ramon are the ones that come to mind. 10/10 recommend. read more

There is sitting space available in lobby of boutique hotel, the Pioneer. After a few beers, can also enjoy great restaurant across lobby. Service is outstanding in brewery and restaurant. Their drinks are good. Especially the hard lemonades. Seriously, if you just want drinks and an appetizer, this is your place. If you are actually hungry and want a meal, I'd recommend going somewhere else. My wife ordered Pad Thai and I ordered the Nashville Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The Pad Thai came out within 15 minutes of ordering, which is acceptable and expected on a Saturday night. After waiting 10 minutes, that plate was almost room temperature and the chicken sandwich was still AWOL, so the Mrs. started eating without me. It was pretty good, but nothing special. Every 5 or so minutes, the server would apologize and promise my food would be out any minute. After 45 minutes, the server finally confessed that my order was lost and asked if I'd like to resubmit my order. We left and went to Popeyes. They have a top notch chicken sandwich that will cost you $5 and 7 minutes. read more

The Brewery LBK is a cool place to grab a beer in downtown Lubbock. I had their hazy IPA and enjoyed it although it doesn't come close to a favorite. I will say this is the best brewery in Lubbock although if you know beer and have been to Lubbock that doesn't say much. It was recently rated the best brewery in the country and I honestly don't know how that happened, because I have tried a good amount of their beers and have never felt close to thinking this was one of the best beers I have had. I am from New Mexico and have a pretty high standard of beer and this doesn't compare. The staff are nice although service can be slow if it is busy. The happy hour prices are good, I definitely enjoy stopping by when I visit Lubbock, but if you really want to go somewhere amazing Dirk's across the street sells their beer and has some of the best comfort food I have had. read more

Our first time going, but I've had many of their tap beers all around town... and you can buy some canned beers at the stores. Great overall 1st time experience!!! We found everyone to be really nice and helpful with the drink menu. We tried several house specialty drinks that are really good. Ralph and Sam are great! Travelling for work and I come in to check out the beer- fabulous service, great advice on local food and they didn't seem bothered by my tourist questions at all. The beer is great! I was able to move over to the restaurant, with help from the staff to West Table to eat after a fabulous flight and a scotch ale. The entire drink to food experience was so great. I really appreciate the polite staff who were not bothered by my touristy questions. I travel the country for work and must say they brew great beer and was shocked by the service and food at table - Lubbock stuns! Thanks you guys for an all around experience. Not into pubs but this one was recommended. It's a pub. The Vietnam Shaker Beef from the menu would have been delicious except for the fully five minute chewy beef. Five minutes, not four. The presentation was good, but the chew...My partner enjoyed the Pad Thai. He was serves a flat lager instead of the requested ale, but a change was quickly made and he enjoyed that. read more

They are really nice and have a great atmosphere and friendly service. But the drinks are really expensive, and they only have the beer that they make and one guest beer sooo not that great of a selection because that's only 5 beers. Also, their mix drinks are terrible. They are all very drinkable and there are supposedly more coming next week. The pub is set in the corner of the Pioneer Hotel and the staff was friendly and helpful. I'm in town for business and saw this on Yelp...close to the hotel with good ratings. I had a little trouble finding it...unless I missed something the only sign I saw was a decal on the door. Sat at the bar...ordered a LBK IPA...it was good. For food, the menu is small but all of it looks great. I asked the bartender for recommendations he said his favorites were the Nashville Hot Chicken and the Burger. I guess the burger isn't always on the daily menu so I gave that a try. It's a double burger...seemed to be way over a half pound size. Comes with a ton of hand cut fries. Burger was excellent. Fries were really good but I could hardly put a dent in them. We are from Colorado, stopped in Lubbock as a half way back home and decided to try the best food in Lubbock. All my research was leading me to The West Table! (Which looked amazing and is probably where we will eat next!) We went inside and the lady at the front very kindly told us the evening was booked and that there was a brew house just across the hallway and it was still the same kitchen! So, we decided to go ahead and sit in there. Staff was very kind and considerate. They tried really hard to accommodate our bad meal, but I will admit we are impatient patrons and don't like to wait longer than needed. We ordered the hot chicken sandwich and the chicken tenders, both food items were severely undercooked, watery, and extremely chewy. We believe the kitchen staff was too busy to deal with the restaurant and brewery at the same time. If the restaurant is super busy you should just go elsewhere... read more
