    Wicked drinks

We went here before seeing Wicked. Loved the Wicked themed pop up bar! I've also been here before without the pop up bar. I like the how you order and pay from your phone using QR codes. The food comes out fast and the service is friendly. We ordered the steak empanadas, fries and some BBQ wings. All of the food was very tasty. The empanadas had great flavor and the wings were nice and crispy.

Okayyyyy, this place is cute. We came here after going to see Wicked and I didn't even realize they had a decorated section with Wicked music! So fun. We got a table right away and service was quick. We just came for girl dinner (Caesar salad with a side of fries for the table) and the food was great. I just wish they had a larger selection of food available, but they just have a limited menu at this location.

So I have been to Milwaukee a few times now and it's truly a wonderful place. However, this was this first time I heard about Water Front Brewery. I stumbled across this little gem off the beaten path and to my surprise the beer is phenomenal. We were served by two wonderful ladies Elle and Trinity, who explained to us the history of the brewery and walked us through the great beers they had on tab and for purchase to-go. The place looks very historic on the outside and can definitely be misleading. But when you walk in, boy did they do a great job making this bar come alive. Now we weren't able to stay long enough for the live music but I'm sure it only added to the great beers they serve. If you are in Milwaukee please stop in for a beer. You won't be disappointed.

    Hot Honey Paloma

The Hot Honey Paloma was delicious, the espresso martini wasn't my favorite but wasn't terrible. Loved the steak empanadas, highly recommend! Ordered a chicken Caesar wrap but it was more salad then chicken.

Highlights/Lowlights 1. Easy to Snag A Table 2. Great for a Pre-Marcus Performance 3. Nice Menu Variety Stopped in for the first time before a Thursday ballet performance at Marcus. We were so glad this was open because, sit down food options in this area can be surprisingly limited. We didn't have a reservation (I don't think you can make them), but we got a table for 4 right away. The menu is pretty big! This would be a good place to bring picky eaters as everyone will surely be able to find something they like. We tried a ton of different options including chicken skewers, fries, loaded tater tots, sliders, and chicken tikka masala. The food was all pretty good! Probably not 5 star worthy but definitely better than expected for a brewery/pub. Ambiance is a little mixed. Dining area seems modern/trendy. Bar in the front has pull tabs, games so feels a little more casual. I'm glad this is here! Nice to have an easy option before Marcus shows.

The Brewery has a Christmas pop up for this holiday season! Super fun drink specials and themed snacks, plus their original menu is always available. I'd definitely recommend it!

I've lived in mke for 6 years and had never been here and now after the renovations my friends love this place and are always trying to go. It has a small dance floor, plenty of seating, large bar that you don't have to wait long for a drink. It does seem the crowd is slightly older than fresh out of college. There's also seating in the back for people who want less of the dance floor vibes and just want to sit and catch up with friends. A good place to go for an upbeat night in Milwaukee.

    Honey Lager Light

As I walked downtown, hungry and so thirsty .. I stumbled across a brewery with some lights missing off the sign. I walked in and lowered my expectations as I seen a "seat yourself" sign and had to scan to order. Then faster than I could process the actual charm of the place, my drinks arrived. I had the Honey Lager, it was a spectacularly brewed beer. My fiancée had a passion star martini and I thought it was lovely (I'm not a fruit drink guy). Then the food came.. the Philly is simply the best Philly I've had outside of Philadelphia. I'm telling you, give this place a shot!

A nice and comfortable spot to enjoy a drink if you're near the Marcus center. Prices are reasonable, service (at the bar) is quick, and they have a decent beer selection. With that said, the beer was only alright for me. The flavor was alright, but not particularly memorable compared to other local breweries.

I am beyond disappointed by this establishment. We were out for the Milwaukee st patty bar crawl and wanted to have app and drinks at The Brewery to cap out afternoon off. We are walking into the establishment and the bouncer looks at one of our friend and says "your a liability, no entry". He would not explain himself or his reasoning behind the statement. I would like first explain the bar was letting in plenty of other members from the bar crawl into their establishment that were heavily intoxicated. Again we were coming to the brewery for apps and drink to end our day. The bartender denies our friend entry and refuses to give reasoning behind his decision. I don't have a problem with his decision but I have a problem with his disrespect for letting 1 person out of our 8 group party into the establishment without reasoning. I WILL NEVER BE COMING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN due to the disrespect myself and our group experienced.

The Hawaiian Sliders were pretty good

The fish was crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned -- light enough to enjoy every bite but hearty enough to feel like a real comfort meal. Service was great with a beverage and food line. We also ordered the original and spicy cheese curds, with a soft pretzel. Highly recommend! The homemade ranch deserves its own shoutout. It's rich, tangy, and clearly made in‑house. Easily one of the best ranch dips I've had, and it paired perfectly with the fish and fries. The French fries were golden, crunchy, and fresh -- no soggy fry in sight. Simple, satisfying, and exactly what you want next to a fish fry basket. Great food, great atmosphere, and a spot I'd happily return to. Lakeside Brewery nails the classic Wisconsin fish fry experience.

They've got a solid beer selection, all the staples for a brewery in the US. They've also have a menu with bar staples, including the aforementioned cheese curds, which were delicious - hot and lightly battered, not fried past all recognition. The space is nice, there's a spacious hall with plenty of seating and a multilevel patio in the back with nice views.

But parking is paid parking on the street, with spots hard to find. Once the parking situation is resolved, things are great. The vibes inside was awesome - very open, with lots of seating. There seems to be tons of seating options, and outdoor seating as well for when the days are warmer. And for a brewery, the most important thing? The beer, of course! And it was good. We've had their beer before and have always like them. It was great getting some more on draft. Agro pop IPA Yummy!! Panther pale ale OK, but not my fave. I wouldn't get it again. Cheese curds $14 These were delicious, but it did get salty after munching through the plate. We were limiting ourselves to just one drink, and needed more drinks or another food item to mediate our tastebuds. I'd order again with a proper meal or with more booze. Service was super nice, though not quite polished, which I don't mind at all. Points for a nice smilze!

But since I wasn't getting the happy hour special, I had a Piña colada. It was amazing, the bartender Blair made it to perfection. And I could quite literally say it was the cherry on top to my day. The wings are spectacular so they were a must. And I may be teetering on the scale to say that the dry rub is my favorite instead of the classic bbq. I also tried their fried pickle fries for the first time, I was skeptical since I'm not a fan of Texas Roadhouse fried pickles. Nope these could easily be a swap for regular fries. Not to mention these pickles remind me of the fresh pickles you buy from the fridge at the grocery store. Line dancing was a hit, another mixed crowd. Pleasant energetic and welcoming atmosphere. Even the host and waiters seem to hype it up, particularly if you come in with cowgirl boots. They opened up the garage door that let in a perfect breeze and the view was spectacular since it was a clear sunny forecast of a day.
