Blueberry pancakes, Farmers Harvest Omelette w bacon and toast, eggs, sausage a toast and kielbasa hash with over easy eggs

I'm so sad that I only have one picture of this amazing brunch at The BrickHaus. BUT that one picture is the epitome of what this establishment is-DELICIOUS. The food was so fresh, served hot and inspiring. I miss The BrickHaus so much that I created that hash at home just to remind myself how wonderful it was. The service was pleasant and friendly. I went on a Sunday late morning with my friend and sister. It was busy but the service was still great. The cafe is cozy and rustic. It has outdoor seating during the warmer months and plenty of seating inside. The vibe is a little industrial and has beautiful exposed brick walls. I cannot wait to return to PA and have The BrickHaus. Make sure you go and have it for me if you have the chance!

The Goldie Lox, French toast with apples, and the strawberry Fields salad with a side of french fries.

This place is perfect! We had a super friendly and very accommodating waiter named Chase. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We ordered the Goldie Lox, strawberry fields salad, French toast with apples, a Cortada coffee and an iced latte with one pump of banana. The atmosphere is perfect. I can't wait to come back.!

Food was damn awesome for a brunch! Service on the mark, the scenery and the lighting perfectly matched.

Just happened here due to being in the area and there's a fall festival happening in the town. Has great reviews and very active even with the event outside. Looks like there's probably easy parking usually, but even with the street closed I found a good parking spot within less than 3 minutes walk near the Septa station. Unfortunately, had an emergency while waiting on my table, so didn't get to actually dine. Came back and it's great! The service was top tier as everyone was willing to stop and help while being friendly. The food came out hot. A great value for the price. I will return again!!

Amazing experience every time. We have been coming here since they opened in 2018. At first it was a small coffee house with a few tables. It has since been expanded into a full dining room and larger menu. Food is exceptional, service is always fantastic (shoutout to our fav Mary Ann), and the owners truly are a great asset to our community. Looking forward to returning many more times in the future.

This place is so cute! Every worker in here was helpful and had a great attitude. Coffee was delicious and food was better.

Love this place!! We are here visiting from out of state and came across this place. Such a cute atmosphere and very open and welcoming. Love the brick decor! Service was amazing. Our waiter, Chase, was super great. He had a smile the whole time with helping us and other tables. The food was amazing!!! So tasteful and fresh. Got the BLT avocado toast and they made the eggs just right and everything blended together perfectly. The dirty chia latte was also delicious!! Wish I lived in the state to come back here again

French pressed juice, cheesesteak egg rolls, chips salsa and guacamole.

What a little gem! Their chips are freshly made so they came to our table warm. The guacamole and salsa are really good, and the service is attentive I really enjoyed coming here for a quick lunch with my husband; and I am confident we will be back here. The menu isn't overwhelming, which I really appreciate. Honestly eating here felt like going to your friends house for lunch, and they whipped up a few really good items for you to share. I'm on a chicken ceasar salad kick and this place did not disappoint! I like the quiet vibe- there some ambiance music in the faint background so I can have a conversation without feeling like I can't hear myself. Love it here, I will be back!

I came here yesterday for brunch with friends and we really enjoyed it! We loved the brick wall and it had a great ambiance. We had to wait about 25 minutes for our table (we were a group of 4 plus a baby). I ordered the breakfast BLT which was delicious! My husband ordered the pancakes which were so fluffy and my friend ordered the granola (which she said was good but needed a little bit of honey). Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and plan on coming back!

We were there for an hour and had to reserve our spots online. We had a really nice time! They have you sign a waiver and they take you to the back room where you enter and there was a bunch of cats with all different personalities all up for adoption too! Vibes were 10/10 in there. They had the music channel on and some couches in there, some cats were more sleepy, some were super playful. Either way we were so happy to just be in the presence of them haha. They definitely do kick you out exactly once that hour is up, and the only "negative" thing about this place is the staff do have an odd energy about them. They seemed pretty cold and not very welcoming, and got a tad snippity when i was reading the info on one of the cats in the lobby telling me to leave her alone because shes eating, mind you i was over 4 feet from her crate and this cat was paying me no mind and vice versa. I chalked this up to them simply advocating for the cats in their care, so atleast it could be seen as a good thing‍ Also they had a cute little shop in the front! overall i do reccomend it! We'll definitely be back:)

The restaurant has a charming and casual vibe. Both gentlemen tending the floor are from Italy, adding an air of authenticity. You can choose to sit outdoors -- I really like the way the patio is arranged --or in the cozy dining room. Once seated, you're brought a plate of roasted peppers and a basket of hard rolls. I sprinkled olive oil and grated salt on the plate, which proved a good idea with the peppers and rolls. There were a number of appetizer specials, but we went with a basic Caesar salad. One order, pre-apportioned in the kitchen, was perfect for the two of us. I ordered branzino as an entree T, linguini Pescatore. The whole fish is brought out and fileted tableside. While I took a photo, it was just one unflattering shot of the head (which I'm not posting.) The branzino was mild and flakey, good, though the seasoning didn't break through the skin rendering it a little bland. Excellent grilled potatoes and vegetables completed my dinner. My husband's linguini was delish; while the pasta isn't made in house, it tasted like it could be, served al dente, of course. The tomato sauce was spicy enough to bring the dish over the top. Portobello is byob. (Another Yelper mentioned an $8 corkage fee, but unless they forgot to charge us, they disbanded the policy.) After our meal, with takeout box packed -- there was a lot of fish -- we were offered amaretto as a digestif. A nice touch! The restaurant isn't all that convenient to where we live but we enjoyed dinner enough to warrant a repeat visit. Next time I'll try something Italian. Or maybe salmon, which looked pretty good. Reservations suggested, particularly on weekends.

Backing out is a bit of a pain since you're on Chester Pike and right next to a school, but I managed. The inside is clean, bright and visually appealing. They sell some bakery items, breakfast sandwiches and a lot of coffee/tea based drinks (protein drinks, smoothies, frappes, refreshers, fusion brews, performance drinks, matcha, etc.) I tried the 16oz Premium Signature Coffee Blend - Peruvian and Indonesian blend at $3.25. The coffee was medium bodied with herbal, floral, chocolate and cedar notes in the aroma and taste. It was an OK brew, but not the type of blend I prefer. If you drink regular Dunkin coffee black you'll see a bit of a similarity in the herbal/floral taste. I snagged a couple Almond Chocolate Biscotti's to accompany my cup and they were tasty. On my second visit I grabbed a 4 oz Cortado with whole milk. The balance was pretty much right down the middle. The espresso had flavors of dark cocoa and a deep roast. The milk help shade the acidity so it was very robust without being overly creamy. Foam was light so he did a good job. On the other side of the building is their roasting operation. They have displays with coffee, merch and coffee/tea accessories. I had two good experiences at Afaf. The location might not be the greatest (Wawa close by), but the guy who took care of me (most likely the owner) was really nice and seemed to have put a lot of work into this venture. I'd grab a cup here before giving Wawa another customer. Thanks and best of luck!

The space is cozy and has a very neat adjoining space where they are doing some in-house roasting on a seemingly small scale, which provided some pretty exciting thoughts as about what they may be doing in the future as far as local roasts and other specialty offerings. Everyone behind the counter was also very upbeat and bright and it seems that this is definitely family owned and possibly a second location. Some of the staff seems new to coffee in general, but they will be up to speed in no time. What drew my attention the most was the interesting offerings that Afaf has that you do not see in many, if any, other places. The most striking feature is the Moroccan "special tea". Having had the chance to have legitimate prepared Moroccan tea with fresh mint brewed into the tea before, I was instantly drawn to this and I spoke to the owner at length about the menu and how I would be over-the-top excited if they added tagine to the menu, lol. He was playful with my suggestions and was definitely interested in din preparing the tea, although I did not have time for it to be prepared freshly, and will be following up, having this as the drink on my second visit here for sure. Thai brings me to my macchiato and hash browns. This also is the part where Afaf needs a little work. This place has all the hallmarks of being one of the best in the area, and I will not knock them as they JUST opened. However, the macchiato I ordered was not a traditional macchiato even after discussing the beverage with the barista...this is something I am used to as most places do not make a macchiato correctly and I am just as happy drinking it the way the place makes it instead of how it is traditionally prepared, but after having a whole conversation about it, I expected it to come out as discussed. That only leaves the hash browns. While they were indeed flavorful, they were simply frozen tater tots that had been seasoned, and they were barely cooked. I am actually unsure if they were even heated. They were cold, and I know tots come precooked, so it's very possible they were taken out, seasoned, and never finished. All this is likely growing pains, and will not prevent me from coming back, and I cannot wait to try Afaf again, especially the tea and another menu item, possibly something like the caprese they offer. I think within a few weeks this will be a MUST GO destination in the Ridley area for a delicious cup of coffee or an espresso drink and a delicious bit to eat. If you live nearby, give them some love and watch this place grow into something wonderful, and if you're traveling through stop in for a cup and re-energize.
