a plate of french toast, scrambled eggs, and a bottle of beer
Bill B.

It's like 3.5 for me. They didn't have the entree that I first ordered so that was a bummer. My son thought the full Order of French toast was a little small but the dish was tasty. I think everyone was under whelmed with the breakfast potatoes. They were wedges but seemed over cooked and hard. The egg skillet was good As was the eggs Benedict My sandwich/panini was under whelming so much that I can't remember the name of it. It was dry and over done. The breakfast quesadilla looked good

Tomato Soup

I stopped into House for the first time yesterday for lunch with my sister, and I was pleasantly surprised! The tomato soup was absolutely delicious. Usually I'm not a big tomato soup fan, but I loved this! The Winter Salad was also very tasty and light. I loved the goat cheese in the salad that made it a little creamy. The southwestern panini was also very good. I love that House offers a 1/2 and 1/2 option for lunch too. It lets you try so many different things on the menu depending on your mood. The 1/2 and 1/2 makes the meal extremely low cost too, and good food at an affordable price is always a plus in my book! I wish I would've known House was there before because I would've went a while ago! I'm excited to go back again and try their breakfast menu!

Braised beef tips in truffle Mac and Cheese

It can be pricy but, good service and high-quality food. Try the little Dutch Baby skillets, it's great with breakfast and feeds 1-2 as a side or desert. Brunch is the best, but their Mac & cheese won't disappoint. Their soups are great to freeze and heat up later. I keep a few in my freezer for rainy days. Their specials are consistently good, and rotate often. They have some great homemade ice teas too. They're accommodating when it comes to Gluten free bread for sandwiches and breakfast options. Some of the food cans be kind of rich, so I take part of it home to finish later. I don't eat a lot of meat, but their beef and pork dishes are consistently superb.

The store looks nice so I think they think they can price High for ambience. But people want a great tasting Cheesesteak that's packed with meat. Like the one in their photos on the menu or website. Again, don't be fooled. It's called .... "FALSE ADVERTISING" Here's what they do. You order a cheesesteak,.. Plain. You get some meat. You order a cheesesteak with fried onions, mayonnaise, ketchup, pickles, mushrooms. You should get the same amount of meat. Not less cause you ordered toppings. When you order toppings with your cheesesteak, and you can still close your roll and see no meat and toppings that's a cheap crappy cheesesteak . especially for what they charge. It's. Bull Sxxx..!!!! And the problem is nobody calls him out on it . should they get over on you? Don't pay until you look at your cheesesteak first . If it's not what you expect, don't pay for it don't need it .

Gave suggestions. I got prime cheesesteak with bacon( nice surprise with every other bite). Also got the bread with sesame seeds( since it's lightly toasted , just adds to the flavor. Definitely a must do when you land here at airport PHL and want a great tasting cheese steak sandwich.

Why Why Why…read more Do beer nerds think they can just make it up as they go along. Follow me....just left there - asked what beers were on HH - she gave me a list. I picked one of the IPAs - actually had 2 because HH was $4 per. As per my waitress. Asked for a check Got it $13 Hmmm ? Told her they are listed as $4 or $8 total. She seemed really perplexed Said she needed to go talk to her handlebar- mustache - beer nerd - manager. Returned with "sorry no HH on Friday". Ok...... Why the menu And the dialogue around the beers on HH "Sorry about that...." was her response Folks - it's not about the extra $5 -- it's about the fact that I chose that specific beer because of the HH pricing. If there is no HH - I'm not choosing that beer. Simple- yes ? I go there a lot But nah Not anymore. These effin beer nerds are there for a reason.
