I would suggest skipping the champagne and cookies, it was over $100, and each person got about 1-1 1/2 glasses of champagne, and there was not enough cookies for everybody in the party... again this was not purchased by me, it was purchased by my fiancé so I would just suggest to skip it! I have only been to a few bridal shops, so I'm not sure if this is normal... But the lady who was assigned to me, let me and the people I brought with me pick out the majority of the dresses, I was not a fan of this because looking through all of the racks is pretty time-consuming, and you are only there for an hour and a half... Also, I feel like describing what you are interested in and then having the sales person bring it to you is a lot easier since they are aware of what they have in stock. When trying on the dresses, it felt like she didn't even make the dresses try to fit me. Most dresses that I tried on were too small (which I know most if not all dresses that you try on at a dress shop are not gonna fit you, but every other place that I have to at least made sure they look nice on me) and when she was strapping me in, it wasn't as fitted as other dress places have done it in the past, and at some point, the straps she used to hold me in didn't even hold up... For reference I'm a size 16 dresses, and most of the dresses that they had in there were around a size 10. Most of the addresses that they have in there are either lacy or have bedazzle on them, which was not what I was looking for (totally fine with that!) when I mentioned that to my sales person, she kind of just brushed my comment away...Lastly I just felt like the attention that was needed, wasn't given the sales lady in the beginning, made it very clear that we were her last appointment of the day and she was bummed that she had missed a bunch of softball/baseball games with her family over the day... Maybe we just came at an off time, but the shop definitely was not for me, if you are interested in dresses with bedazzle, or lace they definitely have exactly what you need! And if you also like picking out your own styles and looking through a bunch of different dresses, then this could be for you! In the end, I found my dress at another place, so it all worked out!

I received my dress 5 weeks late from their contractual delivery date with no explanation, proactive communication, or apology. I was assured that I would not need to rush order the dress. The dress fit me beautifully in the store, but I was encouraged to order closer to my listed size according to the designer chart, so I wasn't worried about it being late until I tried it on and it was 2-3 sizes too large. The tailoring appointments they offered were for dates before my dress even arrived. Being out of state, I had to bring my dress to another tailor that a friend recommended, who explained the dress would have to be recut and entirely reconstructed because it was so large. My measurements had not changed from the time I tried on the dress on at TWR 7 months earlier. The tailoring estimate was nearly 40% of the purchase price of the dress, so I reached out to TWR to express my frustration. They offered only $150 for a "rush fee" because it was late. They refused to acknowledge any accountability until I told them I lodged official complaints. When I finally spoke to Carmen, she accused me of sending fake pictures, my tailor of being dishonest, implied that I should be grateful because "some girls don't even get their dresses," and told me that I hurt her feelings telling her I didn't trust TWR to do any further business with or to stick to a contract when she offered to do the alterations in a few hours (the alterations took 3 days at my tailor). Their contract did not seem to come with any sort of integrity on their end. Your wedding gown is an investment and brides are under such tight timelines that you expect a luxury boutique to respect. Although many brides have had great experiences here, I can only speak for mine, and I would not trust or recommend TWR to do business with.

When I picked up my dress, I was impressed with the craftsmanship; the pockets looked seamless and appeared as if they had always been part of the dress. My wedding dress is a simple, off the rack, style from Davids Bridal and it needed some work. Jenny and Mary met with my Dad and I in their studio this past Saturday and we so accomodating, sweet, and had excellent recommendations. Not to mention - they are taking my dress which, as many are, is desiged for a woman no taller than 5'4" and making it long enough for my lanky 5'9" + heels! MAGIC, I tell you! I cannot wait for my follow up fitting in June.
