    St. Patrick's Day Sandwich Cake

The best and biggest cinnamon roll I've ever had! The pictures don't do the baked goods justice. Absolutely recommend the cakes they have on display as well! The Saint Patrick's day Pistachio Lemon Special was amazing as well! They do weekly pastry specials! And the grilled cheese I was given to sample is something y'all gotta try!

Chilaquiles! So good a must try.

Great spot in San Luis Obispo. Chilaquiles was phenomenal excellence. Service will definitely be back. Nice outdoor seating for beautiful days in SLO.

The workers were nice and helpful! The food did take a decent amount of time to come out, but it was very good! I really enjoyed my chilaquiles and am looking forward to come back to try the huevos rancheros. I wasn't the biggest fan of the French toast, as I have a crazy sweet tooth but they were more of a healthy adult version. They have both indoor and outdoor seating! Overall I think it's a great place to go and have a nice breakfast!

Food took about 15 minutes after order. Plenty of parking in the front and enough space to seat. We ordered breakfast burrito, burger and coffees it's was amazing. Before you exit the door you can write the note where you are coming from. Love the atmosphere, We will gladly return if we find ourselves in the city again.

Quiche Lorraine & salad, chicken tortilla soup, and a perfect cappuccino.

We had to visit the bank in SLO so I suggested a quick lunch at a little place I discovered when serving on jury duty years ago. What used to be Breaking Bread is now a nonprofit, The Bridge Cafe, and it's AMAZING! My husband had chicken tortilla soup and I had quiche. Both were delicious! Afterward, I asked what the big cookies were in the bakery case, and the man behind the counter gave me one! It's a chewy ginger cookie, yummy and HUGE! I'm ready to sign up for jury duty again as long this place is here.

An absolute gem of a brunch spot! The mole chilaquiles had the three F's: Flavor, Fire, and Freshness! Each bite was a symphony of taste, with the perfect balance of spice and richness. Nice ambiance with both indoor and outdoor seating and friendly service. Highly recommend trying them out!! Very reasonable prices too!

Little bit of a wait before we could place our order, but I was pleased that they make your sandwich as they take your order so there wasn't a long wait after that. My son and I shared a club sandwich, but instead of the triple-decker bread we asked to have it made on the Dutch crunch bread and they were perfectly agreeable to do that. It was great. It was a really great sandwich and I am not always impressed by sandwiches. They also gave us each a free chocolate chip cookie that was quite good and the environment was refreshingly cool inside and also very clean. I definitely recommend this place. By the way, you can order online using their app and for the most recent menu and prices I recommend using the link to their website which is found on their yelp page.

If you create an account on their mobile app, they reward you with a free sammie with a $5 purchase. We ordered for pick-up and was quoted 5:20 for our pick-up time. There were a lot of people there so it did take a little longer but no worries, there were quite a few tables available for us to wait at. I ordered the Goomba in a whole and sammie! I opted for the option of toasting the sandwich and honestly, there was no need for that. I got it on a a Dutch crunch bread and the toasting honestly made it harder to chew since it was hardened and dry. Doesn't even matter because the amount of meat and toppings on it made up for the bread. I love that the meat to bread ratio is like 2:1!

This was actually pretty shameless and all you had to do was order one other site item that totaled two dollars and you got a sandwich for It turns out I was ordering before the store opened so I was automatically given a pick up time of half an hour after they opened for the day. I went with a simple tuna fish sandwich on their small sub. The app did not let me know when my sandwich was ready, but I did arrive a few minutes early, and it was all ready to go. I was met by the smiling face of the single employee in the restaurant. My sandwich was already bagged. My name was on it and my chips and extra napkins were inside already. The store was very clean and organized, and I seemed to be the first customer of the day. The sandwich itself was very good. It had a generous amount of filling and was served as represented on the menu. I will have to try Capriotti's again to try a different type of sandwich as I think it's unfair to judge an entire restaurant by a tuna fish sandwich. However, everything was as advertised and I can confidently give this location a thumbs up.

I'm so glad I did! The exterior is definitely unassuming to say the least, I mean it is a functioning liquor store next to a public park. Once inside, you'll see everything you'd see in a 7/11, but with a much more quality selection of liquor. If I'm looking for a bottle of high-quality bourbon or whiskey, I'll certainly come here next time. But I scooted past that vast selection, because 1) it was lunchtime and 2) I was looking for food. =) I ordered a Mediterranean wrap and a Gyro pita from the little counter in the middle of the shop. I chatted a little with the chef, who was super sweet and helpful to pack my order with sauces on the side so nothing would get soggy before we ate it. Within a few minutes, everything was packed and ready, I paid with credit card and left for our road trip adventure. When we opened the lunch pack, we were greeted by amazing smells and great tastes! Especially the Mediterranean wrap was delicious! It's all a little pricey at $11 for a sandwich, but they're huge and so tasty, that you should skip any of the cheap offers from Subway and Co. to eat here! It's unique, local and delicious!

But I'm not kidding you'll come in here, walk to the back and just feel blown away that you didn't know this selection existed. In addition to the beer, they have a deli where you can order everything from sandwiches and gyros to burritos and schwarma. Serious! The sandwich I had from here was okay, not amazing. I'd still come back to try the gyro though. Of course they have chips and drinks and lots of liquor too. Every time I've ever come in the cashiers have been super cool, laid back and really friendly. Just stop by and wander around, you'll find something you didn't know you want for sure.

Vacation Spot - Sort Of - Inside SLO…read more.... My wife and I visited SLO Ranch when it first opened in 2023 and found an interesting mix of shops, but not many customers. We returned during the week between Christmas and New Year's 2025 to discover the buildings and tenants were changed, but the overall impression was very good. Pros: - The mini farm: There are several corrals each with shelters, food troughs and water sources. Everything is well maintained. Two have a total of about 10 goats and one has 2 alpacas and 2 donkeys. It's not quite a petting zoo because you can't go into the corrals, but they can be fed through the fencing with food bought in a shop. They all seemed quite content. - The shops: SLO Ranch is not big, but it does have a nice selection of stores and restaurants. Everything was bright and fresh with friendly employees. - Specialty Food Shops: We walked into cheese and chocolate shops which were very appealing, great looking and reasonably priced. - Ambiance: Welcoming. There are lots of places to sit outside and enjoy the scenery. Cons: - Restaurants: The quality might be good, but the variety is small. We saw a brewery, pizza place, Persian food, bakery (open only Friday-Sunday) and shops with biscuits and ice cream. The best looking place might be Lucy's Coffee which has a fairly big menu and lots of customers. - Parking: Okay on slow days, but the overflow must use a dirt lot. We didn't see a ton of people, but cars were already filling the lot. For us, the biggest draws were the animals, inviting shops and nice atmosphere.
