Ah man I didn't want to love this place cause I found it to be a pretty penny but it was sooo yummy! Almost $80 for 2 people. The breakfast wrap is a burrito and costs extra to add meat which I did and brought that price to $26. It was spectacular though I do have to say. I especially loved the crunchy vegetables which were cauliflower and zucchini I believe The latte Mi Corazon was really one of the yummiest lattes I've ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was very cute and colorful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place is a must when in the area.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Good Latino music and atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food and coffee were delicious. The server was nice and friendly. Will definitely go back when I'm back in SLO

Yummy breakfast. We had huevos rancheros and pancakes. They have a wide and interesting selection of coffees, machas and horchatas. No frills. Just delicious food snd good service. We love a place where our dog is welcome.

This is our go-to coffee shop whenever we're in town! It's a cozy Mexican-style café and restaurant that always delivers amazing drinks, pastries, and food. This time I tried the mole burrito -- I thought I'd like it a bit more, but I'm still glad I gave it a try. That's one of the best things about this place: there are always so many delicious options to choose from. The only downside is how small the space is -- good luck finding a seat, especially on weekends. It's always pretty crowded when we go, but never enough to keep us from coming back. Definitely worth the stop every time!

We've been wanting to try this and I'm so glad we did!! My husband got a hot Maya cocoa latte and I just got an orange juice but both were so good! He got a concha which was one of the better ones we've had in SLO county tbh and I got the special carnitas chilaquiles and it was so heartwarming and packed with flavor! A lot of onions I probably would've asked for less or on the side but they were still good! The ambiance is so cute, it's community-filled with kids drawings all over the place! Counter service was quick and nice, not much seating and was pretty packed so I'd def keep that in mind when going. Worth it tho!

Corazón Café is such a charming little spot! The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the vibe is very much a simple, order-at-the-counter and sit-down café--perfect for a quick, delicious bite. Seating is somewhat limited, with mostly bar tops and two-tops, so it's better for smaller groups than larger parties. We tried the horchata latte, and it was absolutely delicious--sweet, smooth, and perfectly balanced. The red sauce chilaquiles were amazing, with just the right amount of flavor and heat. We added asada to ours; while the meat was a little chewy, it was still a nice protein option. The corn dobladitas with asada were also tasty and fresh, though I'd probably order them again without protein next time since the flavors stood out better on their own. Overall, everything was flavorful and satisfying. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu--it feels like one of those places where you discover a new favorite each time.

Such a cute coffee shop with some of the best Mexican food you can get in SLO. Staff is friendly, drinks are fun and the chilaquiles are delicious!

SAN LUIS OBISPO, CA We came here Sunday Morning for Breakfast and Coffee. They were busy. Corazon Cafe is located in downtown SLO. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor is nice and colorful. Tables are small and comfy-ish. It doesn't look like its designed for a party over 4 people. Over all a cute and friendly shop.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Like most restaurants and business Downtown It doesn't have its own parking. Parking on the St. Is metered and limited. Parking structures avail. Only a few blocks away. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restaurant can be stuffed with customers on a Sunday, so space and seating could be limited. Also common for restaurants in downtown Slo[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]People were accidentally rubbing and bumping into eachother, that is what we noticed but all in good spirits, everyone was friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]No refrigeration. If its a hot day outside, more likely it will be hotter inside Corazon Cafe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is helpful and friendly. We didn't want to wait for our food long, but as soon as we thought of leaving at the very beginning, the gentlemen at the register said it would be from 20 to 30 min. We thought that was very considerate and smart of him to establish a time limit and so we stayed. Waited in Line about 15 minutes to order. Ordered 2 plates of chilaquiles and 2 coffees. Cashier was friendly and helpful. We found a table available as soon as we finished ordering. Food and coffee were both ready in under 15 min. Food / plate/ coffee presentation looked very nice. We notice the portions are small or smaller than average. Only Entrees served but No Sides. Price point was anywhere between $25 and $30 dlls per person. We got an entree and a coffee each. Paid 64 dlls total. Tax and tip included. Food lacks flavor. Chilaquiles were under seasoned and dry. There was not enough sauce in either of our plates. Green and red sauce were both bland and somewhat tasteless. Mole chicken didn't taste like an original mole and the dishes also lacked sides like rice and beans or maybe a queso fresco slice or a little salad. Just something could mean a great deal of difference. Coffees are good. My latte was very good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Decor and ambiance......4 stars[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service.....5 stars Food presentation....5 stars Green chilaquiles....... 0 stars Red chilaquiles with mole chicken.... 0 stars Horchata Latte..... 5 stars Mayan Latte... 2 stars. Good but couldn't taste the espresso. We will come back for coffee but for a great breakfast we will have to skip chilaquiles and maybe try a different option. We are still on the lookout for the best breakfast in Slo just so we can recommend great places to the over 1000 customers we deal with on a monthly basis who are often visitors. We will give them another chance later on. Their hospitality was good. Recomendation to all Yelpers: Please Note the short replies to most reviews to form your perspective on this new establishment. Thank you. Happy Brunch!

I didn't say grace before I ate but my first spoonful of pazole had me feeling blessed. Couldn't recommend it any higher. I'm someone that typically doctors my soups with various things (oregano, onion, hot sauce, etc.) and there was nothing to add here. It was all there, along with a lime wedge to add a little citrus kick. My mocha was super on point and my gf loved her latte. The chilaquiles were a casualty of greatness in that they were good but paled in comparison to the soup and coffee. We'll definitely be back. Service was great. Inside space was a little tight but seating was readily available outside and we were checked on with perfect cadence. Try it or diet? Do yourself a favor and try it.

Reading, games, crayons, and toys for anyone to use in the restaurant! Lots of community photos, paintings and art. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!!!!!!!

What a beautiful surprise on our way to the airport! Fantastic food, we had the breakfast burrito and the tamales with scrambled eggs.....Lordy, they are authentic and delicious. The Mamas matcha is fantastic and not too sweet. And the staff were so nice and informative with our special requests and newbie experience with the restroom situation. [[HIGHLIGHT]](Need to exit back of restaurant...open to hallway and punch in key code for restroom) totally normal for Cali but being from Ohio....just needed a bit of guidance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Extremely CLEAN bathrooms btw![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was so delicious! Came for my bday and was our first time trying this place . The chilaquiles were to die for ! We also got a lemonade which is so refreshing and an Arnold Palmer . The staff were incredibly friendly . Will definitely come back to try more dishes .

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice little dining place in downtown SLO.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have multiple selections of specially crafted coffee so we tried the iced Horchatte and Mayan mocha - both were good although I favor the mocha more. The chilaquiles was delicious and I had the carne asada torta with chorizo, which was delectable. Try this place put if you are in town!

I opted to do a trio with the bahn mi, tip o' Argentina, and the garlic fries. The food was good I forgot to take a picture! The tip o' Argentina was solid with the garlic aioli and the chimmichurri perfectly complimenting the steak and the lettuce and tomato adding a little bit of freshness. The buns they use for all of their sliders are soft, slightly sweet, and don't fall apart while you're eating. The Bahn Mi was even better. I love pork but was a little skeptical about pulled pork on a slider riffing on the flavors of a bahn mi. To my surprise and delight, it tasted just like grilled Vietnamese pork, which was perfectly complimented by the fresh and pickled veggies and surprisingly hot jalapeño. Finally, I got the garlic fries which were a massive portion, crisp, and very garlicky. Everything was good and with such a large and customizable menu, I'd definitely return if I was in the area again. I also want to give a shout out to the bartender, Kelsey. I placed my order on the kiosk, which I found very easy to use. I ordered Smoothie 5 and Panini 6. This came out to $36.97. For the smoothie, I subbed out strawberries (because I'm allergic) and added bananas. I found that to be a really great option that they have at no extra charge. For the panini, I didn't realize they had half and full orders until I got up to the kiosk. I opted for the full order, and then realized once I sat down that I probably would have been better off with the half option. My smoothie arrived at the table at 11:49, whereas my panini arrived at 11:53, so the wait in total was about 15 minutes which is not bad at all for how busy it was. My friends ordered the Greens 5 with prosciutto, Toast 4, Bowl 1, Bowl 6, and everyone agreed that we would definitely come back. One thing that was funny to us is that we felt like the photos on the menu looked smaller than the portions that actually arrived. My friend ordered the Greens and a Bowl thinking it would be small, and she realized very quickly that she was going to need a takeout box for her salad. (This is a good problem to have, rather than the other way around!). The service was also top notch. Even though I ordered on the kiosk, I was still able to interact with the employees, as they frequently came around to ask if they could clear off plates from our table. I also went up to the front to ask for a box, and she kindly directed me to where the boxes were located that I could just grab. Next time, I would definitely mentally prepare myself for how busy it is, but for the quality of ingredients, and the portion size, I think it is great and would definitely come back.

So, we decided to go here instead of Starbucks. I get Starbucks often for the convenience but wanted a good cup of coffee, not my mediocre "usual." We were a group of five, with three kiddos; two were on the younger side and a bit picky. Once we figured out what the kids wanted, we went to the counter to order at 11:03 AM. As you can imagine, getting two little girls out of their comfort zone for our late "breakfast" took a little work. When we reached the counter to order, the cashier told us, "Oh, sorry, we stop serving the bagel sandwiches at 11 AM," as she removed the bagel menu that had been sitting on the counter. That's fine, if that is policy, then that is policy. The rest of us placed our orders. I was able to get my daughter to order avocado toast but my sister had to take my niece across the way to Starbucks for a bagel. So, when I came in to grab my food and saw bagel sandwiches on the counter prepared, I assumed someone had ordered them before us. I was wrong because, while I was waiting for our food, a man who had been in line behind us came up and grabbed one of them. Shortly after that, I noticed a woman came into the café as I was getting some napkins eating a bagel sandwich. That was an even bigger shock because she had come in at least ten minutes after us. On top of that the cashier seemed incredibly annoyed with us when we asked questions about the menu and made substitutions. Long story short, the food we did get was great, however, the entire situation was super frustrating. The avocado toast with prosciutto and burrata was delicious, and my chai latte hit the spot. Due to running to multiple places to get everyone else situated, I didn't really get to sit and enjoy my meal, and neither did my sister. We won't be going back in the future due to our experience with the cashier.

Should Have Known Better…read more.... I've been to the Nautical Bean on Los Osos Valley Road a few times since my review in March 2026 and each visit earned 4 or 5 stars. Not bad! But I went back on Monday, June 8th and had a very different experience. I ordered 2 small cups of hot chai with extra foam, extra hot and 1/2 sweet. When they were done, both were "heavy" meaning they felt like there was no foam. I checked and yup...no foam. I mentioned it to the barista who said "no problem. I'll do them over". They were done quickly, but still felt "heavy". I didn't want to go back and figured "it's just me". I got into my car and tried one. It was 90% the same as before. She simply scraped a sliver of the drink off the top and added a touch of foam. Plus...the liquid was "thin" meaning she nearly scalded the drink to get it hot. The 2nd chai was the same way. And the shop wasn't even busy at the time. Everyone at the Nautical Bean is friendly and the vibe is great, but next time I'll take my own advice...even if that means going back to the barista twice to get things right.

Service here was excellent, we were checked up on enough and our server gave great recommendations. Thanks to our server Talia D! We sat in a cute garden area with vines, plants, and fairy lights, very cozy like you're in a friend's well-decorated patio. They also gave us complementary bread before we received our meal, and a lot of the dishes were unique and plated well. I would come back if I'm ever in the area and would recommend this place to all my friends! All ratings below are averaged (from me and my bf): salmon bisque // 9.25 // very yummy and unique. my bf didn't think he'd like it -- he usually dislikes seafood -- but it was great!! creamy, clear salmon taste but no unpleasant fishy/ocean taste that a lot of seafood has. i've never had this anywhere else, props to the chef! thai green curry // 8.5 // my bf says it's a 9. it's good but i feel like it was not my fave, it's lowkey your good, standard green curry that you can get at any thai place duck breast (curry) // 8.75 // very delicious and unique, i'd rate the curry, rice, and duck breast as 9/10, the duck breast itself was a 10/10. the curry was creamy, and they were all delicious and fragrant, pairing well together. however, the mushrooms, carrots, and other veggies it came with are too sweet. they seem like they're glazed with a sauce that has too much sugar. the black rice was surprisingly very filling strawberry matcha trifle // 8 // yummy, nothing majorly wrong with it. reminds me of a strawberry matcha latte. matcha whipped cream was a nice, unique touch i haven't really seen elsewhere despite it not sounding difficult to make. i'd order it again but i feel like it's on the sweeter side, so you can't eat too much of it.

Perfect weather for wearing a light sweater, enjoying a glass of wine, and having a nice evening with your people. The staff is very attentive and on top of making sure you have what you need. Food: started off with the brussel sprouts and man, those were so so good. Brussel sprouts, goat cheese, pancetta, etc. you get what I'm saying. Flash fried perfectly. We had the salmon bisque and Soup De Novo, which was a vegetable curry soup. These both could have essentially been meals. The salmon bisque was absolutely loaded with salmon. From what I heard about it, it tasted amazing. (I don't eat salmon). The vegetable curry soup was very flavorful and blended smoothly. If you ordered rice on the side, it would have been just like an entire meal. Tikki Masala Chicken - man, that airline chicken was cooked perfectly. Juicy and tender, great flavor, no a single thing wrong with it. The rice and vegetables were fantastic, especially the carrots. I don't know why they seemed extra good, but they were. 2 orders of the Ribeye. Once cooked medium and mine, cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, when mine came out, I immediately could tell that it was nowhere near cooked right. It was actually well done. When the waiter came back, I said "I'm sorry to have to do this..." and before I could finish he said "oh yea, that's definitely not medium rare, let me have the kitchen refire that for you". I dislike sending food back, but when you're spending $58 on a ribeye dinner, it HAS to be correct. (Note- the manager remedied the issue quick..came to the table, offered soup, bread, etc, which I had already eaten soup, so he comped 50% off the steak. Nice gesture!) The rest of the vegetables paired with the ribeye were very good. If someone told you the white bean puree was mashed potatoes, most people would believe it. Very creamy and delicious. The Italian salsa verde on top was also very fulfilling. Overall the dinner was very good.

A number of venues are here, so drop by, at least for a walk-around. Large kitchen in what would have been an outbuilding, we joined a few other people to make our order. The genuine friendliness from everyone was nice. And the menu was wonderfully different from any other breakfast/lunch place you have been to before. Very cleaver mix of Mexican and traditional entrees, along with a full scale coffee bar that would compete well against any of the commercial brew houses around. KV Lemon Poppyseed Waffle ($15) with real maple syrup, Carnitas Scramble ($16) bowl with three eggs, salsa and feta, Bonetti Bowl ($17) of potato hash and sausage saute topped with 2 eggs, bacon strips, and chipotle aioli and, Biscuits & Gravy ($14) topped with country sausage gravy, 2 over medium eggs and two bacon. Getting the idea? Wife loves lemons and her love was reinforced with the waffle and I just loved the biscuits and gravy, with the sausage dominant. Both breakfasts were loaded with flavor and the freshly brewed coffees topped it all off. We ate inside, as it was chilly outdoors, but there are tables outside on a patio and deck. We will seek Kitchen and Vine out for a return meal and our guess is that the lunches will be just as good as their friendly service. Yum.

A phenomenal California Burrito…read more There's dozens of dozens of dining options in downtown SLO. I looked at various menus and online reviews. Every item seemed to be priced 25-50% more than I wanted to spend. Walked past Kreuzberg and initially thought it was only coffee and pastries. The whole layout is immaculate. Outdoor seating, indoor group seating and even a few private seats in the corner that give it a VIP ambiance. Hidden inside was a narrow lounge area with turntables with a bar area at the end. A DJ was set to start at 8pm. The music genre schedule varies. I will return. The burrito was top tier. Side of chips added to the filling satisfaction. Only downside was the price but if you add the quality service, cleanliness, vibe and atmosphere...the value is there.

It was past 7pm and the place was still hoppin' with groups on the outdoor patio, back room lounge and main area. It has more of a restaurant/club vibe than a coffee shop which gives it a special charm. When asked about their chai the friendly barista was happy to share that they don't use dry powder, they use a spicy concentrate. That's one plus!! But, it's not a house brew, it's basic Third Street Chai you buy off the shelf at the local grocer, chef supply, or natural foods store :( To their credit, they heat it up well and top it with a fancy cinnamon design on the milk foam. When asked if there is a local chai, the barista (who is a chai fan) couldn't think of any. This explains why the local reviews were so good for mediocre concentrate. While the chai quest was a miss here in SLO, Kreuzberg is still a pretty cool spot, with a fun, social vibe, friendly, helpful staff, and some tasty looking items on their menu (just not a stop for chai).

Now, I have been to the Big Easy and as I recall, the food I there was amazing. All of it. Even a simple pizza slice was memorably delicious. BTCC emphatically recreates that culinary experience with a solid menu of creole style dishes. New owner? No worries! Grits, jambalaya, Poboys, fresh homemade cornbread, sweet tea and lemonade, the offerings are all perfectly seasoned, flavorful and delicious. My favorites? The crawfish etouffee, the muffaletta sandwich (for sharing) and any breakfast omelette. Fancy? No. affordable? Yes! Whether you sit inside or on the peaceful patio you'll enjoy the atmosphere and the friendly attentive service from the staff. Definitely, Good Times!!!
