The noodles were absolutely delicious, packed with flavor. They do spicy on a scale through five, we opted for four out of five for the noodles, I thought we could've gone even one spice level higher. For the curry, we did three out of five, and definitely could've done a spice level higher. The spice scale is definitely catered toward people who like less spicy food, so rest assured three or four is still fairly mild in spice. The quantity of the curry was actually quite small, however, the presentation was beautiful. It was also delicious in taste. Ambience: The restaurant is very ethnic and beautifully decorated. It is a great date spot. It's very clean, and food came out quickly. Service: Our server was incredibly professional and very polite. He gave great suggestions. I really appreciated that he went out of his way and got the spice jars for us to adjust the spice level of our food. We hit Noi Thai Cuisine during the Father's Day lunch rush, which is a bold move that cost us 15 minutes of standing around--the perfect amount of time to get *really* familiar with the menu. The place is gorgeous, especially the patio, and the staff were absolute pros at wrangling us to a table. The meal was a hit across the board: my husband's tofu curry and my daughter's drunken noodles and rolls were all fantastic. My fresh tofu soup was admittedly a bit "Zen" (read: plain), but I'm a fan of that understated vibe. The real star, though? The black rice pudding. It was so good I actually stopped to admire the decorative bowl it came in--a sign of a truly elite dessert. This has been my favorite meal for the last two weeks. Not pictured is the Thai tea that my daughter said was amazing. I absolutely loved the garlic chicken. It had the sweet and savory thing going on that I love. I tried my daughter's salmon curry and it was delicious. We had some Resy credits to use up through American Express and found that Noi Thai in Seattle downtown was an option on the Resy platform. Time to try it out on a beautiful Spring day in Seattle. It's located close to Pike Place Market so planning a fun day involving these two places was a breeze. The restaurant had a beautiful Thai interior. The chairs we were seated in were not that comfortable, however. Service was efficient and straightforward. We ordered an appetizer and two dishes. The dishes were salmon fried rice and Pad Sei-Iew. I feel bad but we were not that impressed with their food. Fried rice was really salty and Pad Sei-Iew was also on the saltier side. It is one of the best Thai restaurants in Seattle and is certified as Thai Select which certifies its Thai authenticity. They have locations both in Downtown Seattle and Greenlake, but I have only been to their Downtown Seattle location which has a beautiful view of the Puget Sound. The atmosphere is dark, trendy, and modern- perfect for a date night or nice evening out. While they are a white table cloth, sit-down restaurant, you can dress casually or dress up a bit - both are completely acceptable. This most recent visit I ordered the COCONUT PANANG CURRY with chicken ($25.95) and my friend ordered her favorite dish, SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE ($28.95). On a past visit, I've had their CLAY POT SHRIMP & GLASS NOODLES (KOONG OB WOONSEN) ($27.95) which was absolutely fantastic and has had me hooked on Pad Woonsen ever since! I saw the COCONUT PANANG CURRY recently in my Instagram feed and knew I had to get it. It is served in a whole coconut (yes a real, fresh coconut!) and comes with a champagne flute of fresh coconut juice from the coconut they hollowed out and a side of Jasmine rice. The curry was rich, flavorful, and full of Thai basil and peppers. The coconut juice was light and refreshing and a great contrast to the thick curry. The SALMON GARLIC FRIED RICE (which I've sampled before), is gigantic, aromatic, and served with a giant grilled garlic butter fillet of salmon on top. The salmon is extremely moist, oily, and bursting with flavor. The rice is fragrant and has garlic paste, red bell pepper, carrots, and green onion. If you're looking for a tasty and protein-packed meal, this is the dish! Parking is honestly tough in this area as it's located on 1st. They have limited street parking and a few paid parking garage options around. I recommend light railing or Ubering here if you're not already in the downtown Seattle area. Service is always great and we always get our food quickly, no matter how crowded they are. The staff also take the time to check up on your table during your meal. I booked a reservation through Resy and we were immediately greeted and congratulated on celebrating our special occasion that evening by all the staff helping us. Friendly staff and very attentive. The ambiance is a mix of traditional decor with a modern, upscale twist. They have a great location in the heart of downtown Seattle. A more upscale Thai restaurant in Seattle. There are lots of good Thai restaurants in Seattle, so competition is fierce when it comes to evaluating the qualities of these restaurants. This is around Bai Tong level of fanciness, with a nice drinks menu and relatively pricy dishes. I went at 12pm opening on a Thursday and shortly after, the place filled up with the business lunch crowds. I got the lunch special which was $20.95 for chicken red curry + pad thai, and opted for a $4 surcharge for beef to add to pad thai. Without the surcharge, the pad thai comes with nothing. Well, the price is high but I guess it is the premium of paying for variety in 1 dish. The pad thai was very sweet and salty, a huge miss when it comes to pad thai I have tried in a lot of restaurants. The $4 beef add-on is extreme rip-off where I only got 4 sizable pieces of meat, so skip paying extra for meats/additional toppings. If the add-on price is the same for the regular sized entree, then why skimp to scale it to the amount of pad thai for the lunch special (half portion)? If they do scale it, why not just charge half the price? The noodles were a little undercooked, and I know they are trying for al dente but did not really hit the mark. The curry is fairly spicy at level 2 and very flavorful. The amount of chicken and vegetables is modest yet sufficient, along with rice that is nicely presented. Service is okay. It takes a while to refill water, and the server checked up on me once to see if I needed anything else. Overall, okay Thai place with better and more affordable options elsewhere if you care to make a trek further from the main tourist places. read more

We ordered basically the same dishes, but remembered them being tastier. I had to ask for some chili sauce on the side but the one they gave me was some weirdly sweet sauce instead. We got the clay pot crab with glass noodle and pad kee mao. I'd definitely skip on the crispy taro rolls; the filling was nonexistent so it was pretty much equivalent to eating straight eggroll wrapping. (ordered this the first time) Now would I come here again? Probably. It is quite close to Pike Place and is open late, so it's convenient. Though the food was less memorable this time, I only know of this restaurant to serve the clay pot crab with glass noodle dish. I ate here with my friend, and the pad thai that you see in the photo below was $30 including tip. That was pretty expensive, especially since the dish did not taste particularly unique. It was just your typical pad thai. I genuinely think the price came from the presentation -- the little flower garnish -- and the overall ambience of the restaurant. The service was great, though. The staff were very attentive and kept our water filled at all times However, they did interrupt our conversation a few times when it seemed like they could have backed off, especially when the discussion at our table was getting a bit tense or serious. That is more a lack of social awareness from specific staff members rather than the restaurant as a whole, though. I am being nit-picky here. When we arrived, there was about a 15-minute wait since we walked in without a reservation. The waiting area is small, just 2 chairs, but it is separate from the dining area, so you are not sitting there tempted by everyone's orders. There was also someone working the front desk who kept us updated on the wait time and was available to answer any questions about the menu, which I appreciated. I really liked the dim lighting -- it made the atmosphere feel more romantic if that is the what you are going for with your dining companion. If not, it is still a comfortable dimness and not toooo awkward. Just be aware that the space is a bit tight, so you are likely to hear the conversations at the tables next to you. If you are hoping to have a private or sensitive conversation, this might not be the best spot. read more

We were seated immediately (arrived 15 mins early) and Quang was assigned as our waiter. He was so friendly and helpful. I ordered a Pinot Grigio ($13) and DH had a beer ($9). We were both pretty set on ordering red chicken curry although he had his one star hotter on the spice level. When you have a craving, you have a craving! We also ordered some of the fresh spring rolls and those were absolutely fantastic. They were huge! And that peanut sauce was fantastic. Much better than I've had elsewhere. We did order the lunch portion, which is why these look pretty small. We were offered to order the dinner portion but we stuck with the lunch portion as he said it was about 70% of the dinner portion might want to take that any consideration if you're super hungry, but it was plenty of food for us Service from Quang was excellent as well as our food, came out fairly quickly, even with a very large table in front of us, the food runners did an excellent job The spice level for each of us was perfect and the curry was very tasty. Noi Thai in Green Lake is such a gem! The location is perfect! You can take a walk around the lake and then stop in for some amazing Thai food. The restaurant is very clean, with plenty of seating, including comfortable booths that make it great for groups. The food was incredible. I had the Pink Mocktail (passion fruit juice with guava) and it was so refreshing. The Penang Curry served in a fresh coconut with coconut milk and brown rice was flavorful and beautifully presented. Noi Thai is one of my all time favorite restaurants in any city, anywhere. I have been here probably 20-30 times over the last few years, after walking in for lunch on a random Saturday. Their food is genuinely incredible and what amazes me is the consistency; I order the fried rice and it's the exact same every time, usually down to the plating. I've tried many' dishes off the menu and you really can't go wrong. It's a beautiful restaurant a few blocks up from the waterfront and the interior is warm and classy without feeling stuffy. Service is excellent and really helpful at providing recommendations and working with dietary restrictions. This is my go to spot to bring people because I know it's always a wonderful experience. This was my fist meal in Seattle after coming from the airport on a Friday night. We intended to go to the Waterlake location, but it closed very early, so we wouldn't have made it. They let us know before we were seated that the kitchen would be closing soon, so we'd have to order within 10 minutes, which was fine. The server said that it was a saucy dish, so it came with rice, but I didn't find the sauciness to be sufficient enough to pair well with rice, but I supposed it needed to come with something. My curry was good, but the portion size felt extremely small, especially for the price. I was satisfied because I went to bed not long after but if I'd have been up for a few hours, I probably would've needed a second dinner. I also ordered a Thai tea, which the server forgot about. He brought it out and comped when I reminded him and ended up comping it from the bill, which I really appreciate. The thing I didn't like about this restaurant was that it was STICKY. From the lobby to the dining table, when walking we could literally hear our soles being pried from the floor as though they were adhered with Elmers. Even the table was sticky. Next level flair, but a mild Thai flavor. With an incredible location overlooking the Sound, this spot feels like a celebrity hangout. There are prominent gold features across the dining room, and the tables have a lounge-y feeling to them. Almost like you're sitting on a couch with your homies while munching on Thai food. It would be a fun place to kick back for a few drinks. But the food itself was just not hitting. The crab wontons had a super doughy consistency, almost like they weren't cooked all the way through. Even with that, they weren't bad though. I don't think you could make fried cream cheese taste bad if you tried. But on a crab wonton / rangoon scale these were like a 5/10. I tried some of the noodle dishes that my friends had and they were just lackluster. Not much there to write home about. They tasted fine, probably something I could have made. The crispy garlic chicken was the best dish I had by far. They give you a massive amount of chicken which I didn't even come close to finishing. The chicken is also perfectly fried, giving it an outstanding crunch. My only gripe would be that there simply isn't enough sauce on this dish. If you want to eat the chicken alongside the rice, it becomes too dry. Luckily I had leftover wonton sauce to mix with the rice. I'm sure they have to focus on serving drinks here because the rent is so expensive. So I wouldn't come expecting an out-of-this-world meal.
