2.7/5 - The food looked and tasted like it was made hours prior and re-heated before serving. We got the shawarma, fried seafood platter, penne a la vodka (one with salmon and one with shrimp). The salmon and the lamb were very dry and had crispy edges like when you leave something out uncovered for a while. The calamari from the appetizer latter was soggy like it has been fried way before, the fries were under cooked and flavorless, the only good thing was the panko fried shrimp and the jumbo shrimp from the pasta platter. All alcoholic beverages were wine based which is always a bummer in my opinion. The drinks were good but did not meet expectations; we had the sex on the bridge and the pornstar martini. The service and seating was great! Which is the only reason I'm not giving them one star! The only thing keeping this restaurant alive is being on park Ave which makes for the perfect ambiance. Decent food but nothing to advise anyone to eat here. Was happy with the meals but as another stated, could have more flavors. Half of salmon was dry and other half cooked really well. Not sure how that happened. Ordered my burger a certain way, but it came out like it states in the menu without my requested toppings removed. Didn't want to wait for another to get cooked. I was going for a stroll and looking for a place to eat in winterpark on a Sunday morning. Down one of the side streets I happened to come across this restaurant. Looking at the menu I saw they had a lot of turkish items on it. I've always been curious about turkish breakfast so I had to give it a go. It was amazing. The menemen with sucuk was my favorite. My friend and me also got the breakfast platter for two. Service was timely and friendly as well. BENJI our server was very friendly and knowledagble. Perfect breakfast. Mediocre at best. The food tasted uninspired and very low quality. Is there a chef? I had the fish which they called sea bass but seemed more like trout, and my husband had the steak which was not a good quality. The veggies On the side was a blend you would get in a bag--yes they were fresh but not well done at all. My eggplant appetizer was cold right from the fridge instead of room temp and honestly I make it better at home. Dessert was definitely not house made! Chewy crepe with very little filling or topping and blah baklava. And club music playing ! Good grief. So many good choices in WP but this is not one of them! read more

I chose this restaurant for dinner with friends based on their opentable menu which had several vegan options for me and plenty of other carnivore options for my friends. Upon arrival I realized that menu was out of date as the only thing (aside from salad) on the menu that was likely vegan was the the Black Bean Burger. Didn't love it. It was over cooked and served with "the bridge sauce" which was 100% thousand island and not vegan. Our party ordered 2 pastas and another burger which was very over cooked. The hummus and pita were delicious and I was told the calamari was great too. They also store their extra mixers and alcohol under the benches that patrons sit on. When the server started looking through one bench and another and realized what he was looking for was under ours, we were asked to move only to find out what he wanted wasn't there. That would have likely been avoided with prepping the bar prior to opening, but I totally understand restaurants are short staffed right now. The space itself was so gorgeous and very reminiscent of a New York restaurant. The alcohol service is limited and the mixed drinks weren't that great. We had an old fashioned and a espresso martini. I will 100% Try this place again and hope for a better experience. Everyone has an off night once in a while and hoping that was theirs. read more

This restaurant is my new go to spot in Winter Park. I have been multiple times for lunch and dinner and the food has been incredible! The lamb chops were out of this world and I highly recommend trying their desserts, the napoleon is made from scratch and the tres leche is outstanding. The owners are so welcoming that you want to keep going back. It's definitely my new favorite restaurant. read more

Stopped in for a drinks while we were walking around park ave. It was our first time here so we weren't aware of the wine based liquor and were pleasantly surprised at how good the drinks still were! Incredible experience. The entire staff is from New York and the menu was used for over 50 years. I went with a big group and everyone loved their food, big menu to choose from. Great music and cool vibe. The cheesecake and the lava cake were beautifully done and I'll certainly be coming back to try their brunch. read more

Order the chicken wings from appetizers menu. The winds are same as the ones i could but at the store from a Tyson bag that come already with Buffalo sauce. Strange menu mix of Mexican, Mediterranean, Buffalo Chicken Wraps, $8 sides of French Fries and an $82 share an entre choice.... Food was good, restaurant was clean but a horrible value. Wait staff never offered to make amends for their errors as I watched my wife eat and waited for my food. Maybe bring me a complimentary Miller Lite while I wait? Tried this place for the first time the other night. It's a great space and a great location off of Park Ave. I ordered the seafood mix and it was good. I had a choice of white sauce or red sauce and I chose the white sauce. It was very flavorful with nice big shrimp. The 2 sides that I chose were very disappointing. I chose the baked potato wedges and the macaroni and cheese. I ordered the potato wedges because I saw a picture of them on a Google review of the restaurant. What I got were fried potato wedges, not baked, and clearly not what I saw on another review. The macaroni and cheese looked exactly and tasted exactly like Kraft Mac and Cheese. Incredibly disappointed in the side dishes. The spicy yogurt dip wasn't spicy and pretty much tasted like plain Greek yogurt, not a lot of flavor to it. I had to add salt to it. I also ordered the eggplant appetizer which had a good flavor. My only other critique was the dry, hard pita bread that came with the dip. I couldn't eat it. I am hoping to try the restaurant again in a couple months to see if anything has changed. read more

We decided to try something new and I'm glad we did. This NY style cozy restaurant is very nice. The ambient and music is very relaxing. To start, we ordered calamaris, fresh, hot and crispy. Then you must try the peas soup (delicious). For dinner I ordered the filet mignon and it was well cooked and the presentation of the plate was good. We also ordered the fish filet with veggies and oh pls try their sweet potatoes, so good. This place is not big inside, however, I liked it because it's not loud, the servers are attentive, the bar has pretty much anything you want and the a/c is comfortable. They also have outside tables if you will like that or have big families. Be ready to spend about $130 plus with tip for 2 people but worth spent my opinion. Outstanding service in a very nice environment (good vibe and good music). Jessy was our server and we loved her. They have an extensive menu which was interesting. We started with the Buffalo cauliflower and it was the best we've had. Very scrumptious and crunchy. I selected the salmon burger and it was so delicious - several salmon pieces, not ground. Yum! Cooked wonderfully on a nice bun. I had the sweet potato which was good and didn't come as a typical sweet potato is served; honey and cinnamon. Soooo good! My husband ordered the 24k gold burger. Cool concept, but the burger was kind of plain and underwhelming. The patty seemed pre-formed/frozen and was cooked over the requested temperature of medium. Fries were fair. He sent it back. We ordered an incredible crepe for dessert. They have a nice selection of desserts and wines. Wines were priced very well. Very nice owner as well. The cheese plate and sliders we selected were boring, tasteless, and not worth the price. We did not finish either. We selected this location to celebrate my son's graduation based on the great reviews we'd read. We we very disappointed. We had a reservation, and they were very busy. It took a very long time to find someone who would acknowledge we'd arrived, and a while longer to be seated...outside. We'd come from an outdoor graduation and honestly were hoping to cool down. Wait staff only came after we flagged staff down to ask if anyone was coming. The service was terribly, painfully slow. When my food arrived, it was lukewarm at best.
