Had their special of the day which was garlic shrimp sautéed in a flavorful sauce with healthy veggies some rice and a lemon shaped flower, plated very appetizing paired it with a dark wine that hit the spot. If you're planning to get a plate of food from the snack bar, I'd suggest just going here since their menu has more food choices and the pricing is almost identical. I've been meaning to do this for a long time. This was from The Broiler at San Pablo Lytton Casino last night. When I got here, it was packed on the Casino floor. I didn't expect it to look like that inside, it's posh, slightly elegant, and I really like the high ceilings in here. There's nothing more All-American than a Cheeseburger. I went with the Casino Cheeseburger with a medium cooked Classic Angus Beef patty, all the fixings, Swiss Cheese, I added an Avacado, and French Fries. This Cheeseburger reminds me of a Steakhouse Cheeseburger, like somewhere at an old Black Angus Steakhouse. The Bun was like a Brioche, very gourmet. What did it was the Avacado. The Fries were on point, crunchy, and I really liked how it was served in this neat Basket. They get some points for originality. This was one hefty Cheeseburger, and it was oh so good. I was thinking this was going to be a 3.8-4.2 stars, but I give this 4.3 stars. read more

Eh it's an ok place. For someone drunk looking for a Asian food at wee hours, this place will do. Selection of asian food is of course limited. They also have American food. I ordered shrimp scrambled egg on a fries rice, but it came out looking like porridge! Not what I was expecting. In order to make it palatable, I added some lemon, some soy sauce, and hot sauce. Waiters are attentive though, which is good. Oh btw, for a place that offers Asian food, it's a disappointment that they do not have CHILI OIL and a REAL soy sauce. Since this is inside a casino, the place is like an ashtray, so expect to come out smelling like one. i ate at the boiler restaurant yesterday. i ordered fried chicken. it looked like it had been cooked earlier. they refried it. it was so hard i had to ask for another plate. when it returned it was just as bad. the dark meat was so dry. i tried to eat as much as i could i did'nt want to complain anymore. i just paid my bill and left a very decent tip. if i return i will not be getting the fried chicken. read more

We chose from the Breakfast options (salmon served with hard boiled egg and bagel w cream cheese). They have a large menu with lots of options at good prices. We chose to share this dish, so only my half is pictured. It will definitely fill one person up if they aren't sharing. Tip: Jus get your free drinks on the casino floor rather than paying for drinks in the restaurant area. Also, coffee is $2 but free on floor. It was our first time here. This is not a place you want to go to unless you're already at the casino. I went there for lunch and got the quesadilla which was just one tortilla folded in half. I was disappointed in the quantity of food. Quality was ok. It is tough to mess up a plain quesadilla though which is why I went that route. Other people in the group got the club, French dip, prime rib and western burger. No one complained about their food which is a good sign. The waitress was attentive and quick on refills. Wow. I'm really surprised by all the sucky comments below but then again.. they are pretty old. Well, I must say---the San Pablo Casino's Broiler restuarant really won my heart over. No, I don't enjoy inhaling cigarette fumes but I had a very good first and second experience. Their sweet potato fries with sweet aioli sauce is amazing! Their clam chowder is very, very good and I've had my share of clam chowder in my small lifetime. Their caesar salad was great the first time but unfortunately failed the second time because it was too salty. The service is really good. Maybe they read the below reviews and thought--"Hmm, we should improve". You get freshly baked buns served hot with creamy butter spread while you wait for your appetizers and entree meals. My mom is a regular gambler here so she gets $30 off of the restaurant here but knowing how casino food that you can get for free goes (that's not in Vegas or Reno) it's usually mediocre and this place was. I was going to take the simple route and order a burger but I decided to go with a Jambalaya pasta since we had a coupon, it was okay but it tasted like one of the tv/frozen dinners by Healthy Choice, I was expecting more from a $15 dish, although the garlic bread that came with it was fantastic. The restaurant wasn't too loud and it was clean and "fancy" looking, like I was at Cache Creek Resort in Brooks. The waitress was quick and friendly. Last Saturday after losing $40 on the slots I came here for dinner as I had no desire to gamble inside the casino again. I needed to get the bad taste of losing in my mouth. I had a small dinner that consisted of two dishes: 1) casino sampler and 2) catfish with black beans over rice. The sampler had a decent portion of chicken wings, chicken fingers, and popcorn shrimp. In addition there were different types of dipping sauce (honey mustard, tartar sauce, ketchup, and salsa) that was provided. The main dish, the catfish, is similar to Chinese seafood stir fry dish. The catfish is diced, breaded, and fried. A black bean sauce, that you normally see at a Chinese restaurant, is added on top of the catfish. I liked the moistness of the catfish however by putting the black bean sauce on top of the breaded catfish the breading becomes soggy not crispy. Overall the catfish dish was a light, pleasant dinner. I enjoyed my time at this restaurant than Casino San Pablo. read more

I see a lot of negative reviews but me, personally, I like this place. I've been here so many times and not once I've experienced or eaten anything bad. I've tried plenty of dishes but now I usually get their Porkchop with eggs and substitute the steamed rice to garlic rice which is BOMB! Their dinner rolls are always oh so warm and soft so when you slather the butter, it just melts right on top. They use to serve Filipino breakfast here but not anymore so I'm kinda sad about that. The service is always attentive and the staff are friendly even when it gets busy. This restaurant is the only reason why I'm in the casino since I'm no gambler and they're open 24/7 so I can stumble in here from a night out and be served hot food. It's walking distance from my house but my lazy ass still drive there. The only thing I don't really like but won't hold it against them is the cigarette smell as soon as you enter so after the security let's me in, I walk straight ahead all the way to the back to get seated. I brought my husband here for a late birthday lunch and he enjoyed the food very much. He was disappointed they no longer had nachos for appetizers (it's been years since we've been here) Luckily the smoke wasn't bad today so if you can't handle the smell of smoke while eating this place is not for you but if you don't mind. This place is sort of a surprise. Most people that go to the casino already know there is a restaurant there. But the gamblers usually have the food & drinks delivered to their tables. We don't generally eat in local casino restaurants, but we were with friends who recommended this place and also gamble here alot so much to our not wanting to go there...we did. Let's start out with the "good" news....the casino/gambling is HORRIBLE. Smoke filled room and restaurant, dirty with overflowing ashtrays, drink glasses at each machine and games that are awful. The food....the WORST, the service even more HORRIBLE. One side of the menu has "American" type food and the reverse side is all Asian food. It was 8 PM.....we ordered a shrimp cocktail and crab cake appetizers...after waiting 20 minutes to get initial service. About 15 minutes later, the waiter came out and said....we are out of shrimp cocktails....at 8 PM on a Friday????? So we ordered a second crab cake plate. Another 20 minutes went by and the waiter put down one plate with 3 crab cakes on it....we are out of crab cakes and only have 3 left. OK, now it is about 8:40 PM and you are out of another appetizer on a Friday night....and there are only about 6 appetizer choices on the menu!! The crab cakes weren't bad, not alot of flavor, but hot and unfortunately, the highlight of the evening. My husband ordered fried chicken and I ordered the trout dinner. The fried chciken came out semi-cold and I think they ran over to Popeyes for the food. My trout was cold and the first bite was all bones....no fish, a mouthful of bones. It is now after 9 PM, we are hungry and annoyed so I ordered the fried chicken just to make my husband happy that I was eating something. It took 20 minutes to arrive, was cold and I could have gotten frozen Banquet chicken dinner at Lucky and been happier. Drinks were never refilled or replenished without constant asking, servers were no where to be found, couldn't even get ice water. We asked for the manager and complained about all of the above....he took off my chicken dinner. The attitude was "I don't care, the food sucks and we aren't here for the food, go gamble....this is a casino". Let us just say we will NEVER take a restaurant recommendation from these friends again...hey, probably won't eat with them again!!!!!..... and we can count all the money we have "won" by NEVER EATING or GAMBLING at this establishment ever, ever, never in the rest of our lifetime!!!
