It was my first time trying this place. Ordered to go on Mother's Day and won't be coming back. Corn was overcooked, calamari was over battered and the sauce for the shrimp tasted like they just poured canned sauce and seasoned it. We spend about 120$ for 3 pounds and fried calamari, hopefully they improve the food quality.

I always come back for their Hawaiian shrimp with steam rice - they're absolutely delicious and full of flavor! The garlic noodles are a must try as well! They had a special brunch menu, and I tried the shrimp and grits - it was really tasty and definitely worth ordering. If you're in the area, give this restaurant a try. You won't be disappointed! =D

New owners and new management. Everything came out fresh and hot out the kitchen. Garlic noodles with shrimp packed with flavor, lemon pepper chicken wings juicy tender and crispy

went here a few years ago and ive always been meaning to go back... we did yesterday and it looked different, the waiter told us we could pick our seats and waited for our menus. he gave the table furthest from us their menus, then proceeded to sit down to go on his phone. I was confused because he obviously saw us and we didnt have our menus. my husband got up to grab it and we were asked if we wanted drinks. we got 2 cups of ice water, and i look in and see a bug. i was then immediately unconvinced to stay and didnt want to wait for a strike 3. we left and unfortunately probably wont ever come back.

    Head On Shrimp Boil

Called in for the order to be ready at 5:00pm when i arrived the food wasn't ready for another 30 minutes. I Bought three seafood bags totaling over $150. All for the food to be UnderCooked. Potato is Hard and dry. Shrimp is overcooked and crumbles in your hand like wet sand. Overall not a Good experience. Thinking of going to Crabby Crabby next time

    Fresh oyster special

I hadn't been here in years and decided to come try it with my friend for Memorial Day. We ordered oysters to share and two separate boils, the boil sauce was extremely too thin and lacking flavor. The oysters were full of shells and sediment. I was extremely sick only 3 hours after eating them and I will not be returning.

Me and my boyfriend love seafood boils but didn't wanna drive all the way to Berkeley or Vallejo for bag o crab so we stumbled upon this place and they are actually really good if not better in my opinion we have came back another time after our first time and service was still good and food was still good as well. We got the Option A bag.

Eek. First thing to note if this makes a difference for any of you: they charge 15% gratuity for dining in. The staff were friendly and checked in on us quite often. Gloves were provided while bibs were given upon request. Like other reviews have mentioned, they are pricey and the combo options honestly sucks. Only 1 of the combos included crawfish and only at 1/2 lb. Many of the combos included half pounds of each item. i ordered Rockin Combo flavor at medium spicy on 2 lbs live/fresh crawfish ($20/lb as of last week vs $17 for frozen), 1 lb head on shrimp, 1 order of potato (came with 2 potatoes), 1 corn, 6 pc sausages. ~$80 after tax and tips. The sauce had cajun flavoring and not too spicy at medium spicy (I usually get mild or medium), but not garlicky at all despite that minced garlic was in the mix. I can forgive the lack of freshness in crawfish if the sauce is good but unfortunately it was hard to find many positives with the black bellied crawfish and disappointing sauce. Unfortunately I would not recommend this place for seafood boil.

Rockin crawfish shares the plaza with a supermarket and some other businesses so parking is not an issue. I came with a party of 4 and we were greeted & seated fast. We ordered the seafood boil, shrimp po boy, snow crabs, fried oysters & seafood pan roast. Everything was delicious from the sauce to seafood quality. Good service too! Will return to try more menu items.

    Garlic Noodles

I was in a seafood mood and this totally satisfied that craving! We got both a shrimp and mussel boil and I was pretty impressed. The mussels were really meaty and the spicy sauce gave it a good kick. I really liked the sides. The Cajun fries and garlic noodles were really yummy. Some places can make garlic noodles super buttery and oily but this sat pretty well with my stomach. Service was good and food came rolling out on time. Reasonable pricing and I feel like we got a good variety of food along with it A pretty casual spot in the San Pablo town plaza. You can't go wrong for a lunch or dinner here.

Everything came out fresh, hot, and well seasoned. The red snapper was cooked perfectly crispy on the outside while still tender inside, and the seasoning was just right. We've tried the fried catfish, snapper, prawns, and chicken, and everything has been fried and seasoned to perfection--crispy on the outside, flavorful and tender on the inside. The portion sizes are generous for the price, making it an even better value. If there's one small drawback, it's the limited side options--fries, potato salad, or coleslaw. A few more choices would make the experience even better. Overall, we highly recommend it. You will definitely leave satisfied!

There was no line to order, and it took about 10-15 minutes for our food to be ready. Service was standard and sufficient. We got the small-size seafood paella which was served warm and quite delicious. We also got several empanadas (mushroom with mozzarella, spinach with mozzarella, and garlic shrimp with mozzarella). They were served at room temperature from the display case in the window, and they weren't labeled clearly so we had to bite into each one to figure out which was which. All three flavors were tasty nonetheless. My favorite dish was the order of prawn croquettes which came with salad on the side. Bulgolgi bento was awesome - it comes with ita own banchan, japchae, fried gyoza, and a food portion of beef that our 6yo som devoured by himself. Chicken Dolsot was also a solid dish - I like having veggies, carbs, and proteins all in one on a sizzling bowl with a fried egg.
