Delicious! I seen them on a delivery service and said let's give them a try. I ordered a small big mouth minus the Russian and it was a nice size sandwich. The meat, bread and cheese was all great together. I ordered fried and they were amazing. I really enjoy the type of fries and the amount. I could have ordered a small because of how much was in there. Only thing I didn't care for was the coleslaw. And I'm a big fan of slaw, but something was lacking in this one. I plan to try their dine in one day. But most definitely will order from here again happily. read more

We ordered from Bronx Deli as a business expecting consistency and professionalism, but the experience was frustrating and disappointing. When placing our order, we were clearly told we'd receive a 15% discount, which was then changed to 10%, and ultimately removed entirely without any clear explanation. On top of that, there seemed to be tension because we didn't leave a tip on a pickup order--which shouldn't be expected in the first place. Instead of handling things professionally, it felt like the discount situation was influenced by that, which is not how a business should operate. If you're going to offer pricing or discounts, honor them. Changing terms after the fact and making customers feel uncomfortable is not a good look. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because the fries deserved a star of their own. This is my first time ever going here due to it being recommended by an acquaintance. When I receive the food, I originally thought I got the wrong order because I've never seen cheese sticks look like spring rolls! When I tried the egg rolls, I was very impressed with how large they were, but unfortunately, after taking two bites of it, I started gagging and throwing up immediately afterwards due to the meat itself. I called the restaurant to discuss returning part of my order due to my dissatisfaction with the food, and the employee I spoke with agreed that I could do so. I had ordered six items that were packaged in two separate bags of three. Since I had already opened one bag and eaten one item from it, I chose to keep that portion, even though I was unhappy with the overall meal. When I returned the unopened portion, I also mentioned that I did not enjoy the cheese sticks. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me responded with a poor attitude. She rolled her eyes, took the food from my hands in an abrasive manner, and ignored my questions as I tried to confirm that returning the items was acceptable. From the time I initially picked up my order to the return process, the customer service was disappointing. I also was not provided with any receipt or confirmation for the return. Based on both the quality of the food and, more importantly, the unprofessional customer service I experienced, I would not recommend this restaurant and do not plan to return. read more

The food is very good and I highly recommend it. I used grubhub for delivery. The food was not delivered and grubhub was useless in getting a refund or contacting the driver. As the driver left without a photo and we checked houses nearby, I believe this was intentional on the driver's part. I tried calling the driver and he refused to answer and his voicemail was conventionaly full! Bronx deli did say they would reach out to grubhub so they went above in their response to this situation. I highly recommend them but don't use Grubhub. read more

Thanks to the Bronx Deli for offering delivery! I am currently in town for a limited amount of time and trying to squeeze in as much as possible, including some quality time with my parents who are residing in two different places at the moment. So... when my dad told me he was craving a pastrami sandwich on rye, I immediately looked on yelp to find a highly rated deli to deliver and Bronx Deli is what I selected... I went with a large sandwich and had it split, which in theory would be great, but because my dad enjoyed the first half so much, he went in for more right away! He would have preferred old dill pickles, but what was sent was just fine, packaged well, and delivered in a timely manner. Happy dad = happy daughter! Needless to say, I would definitely recommend this deli and use them again for delivery or potentially go check it out to dine in too. read more

I am nothing but disappointed. I paid with a credit card and they said it did not go through even after I showed them on my end it went through. I then called my bank because I paid for a large amount of carry out, to confirm it went through. The workers were rolling their eyes and annoyed that I was calling my bank. I was then told I needed to pay again so I did on my credit card. Both charges went through, and I am very upset about how the entire thing played out with the rude workers. I've tried the Bronx Deli a few times now and have tried a few different sandwiches, one being the Reuben and the other being Hectors spicy chicken sandwich. The spicy chicken sandwich was the bomb!! Whatever the hot pepper mix is, makes the sandwich. The Reuben on the other hand isn't my favorite, not bad but not my favorite. You can order sizes small, large, and huge. When I inquired on what the difference between a large and huge is, I believe I was told a quarter more of meat, which really isn't much since it's not more sauerkraut, cheese, or thousand island. I like the Bronx but I found a closer deli that I would prefer their Reuben's over but I would get that chicken sandwich again sometime soon. Nothing beats a good sandwich on a frigid cold day. There weren't a lot of people here when I arrived, but they started slowly making their way in and it got busy. Thankfully Ana, my server, was very quick and attentive. Both the fries and sandwich I ordered were the smallest possible sizes, yet the entire order was large enough to feed 2 people in my opinion. Menu is robust and the dining room is inviting. My only real complaint were the fries, which didn't blow me away. I felt like they were delicious with the gravy or ketchup, but by themselves left a lot to be desired. I was in town only 16 days. Family friends brought me here on the third night. The food and ambiance were so incredible that I came back twice more--for my husband's first night in town, and on his last. The corned beef WAS something to write home about. Or to Yelp, as you'd have it :P I rarely get to eat corned beef, so I absolutely ordered it on a sandwich. The meat was very generous; my table-mates gave me their extra slices of bread to make my leftovers as a sandwich. The most interesting menu item I tried was the corned beef egg roll. Like, what?! But, oh my gosh, more please!). My husband liked the corned beef so much that he vowed to come back that second time for the Meat Mountain! (And he succeeded in eating the entire portion of corned beef, without even being motivated by the challenge to get his picture on the wall.) Not only all this, but the service was incredibly welcoming, too. As a footnote to my 5-star review, my only comment on the menu is regarding the mac'n'cheese fries. These were billed as "but fries instead." Alas, they were more akin to extra-cheesy cheese fries. And while the melted cheese was good, it was all on the top and not the kind of cheese sauce you might expect for a mac'n'cheese inspired dish. Overall, I was extremely happy here. One of my favorite delis! Friendly staff, and a great menu! When I am here it is all about the corned beef, but don't miss out of their fries and the various season fries (I like garlic parmesan). And also the matzo ball soup is fantastic. I like to come here on a regular basis. They are well set up for the covid-conscious diner as well. Wow, how have I lived in the area for 7 years and never tried this place??!! The food is amazing, freshly made and piled high with quality ingredients. The interior is clean, comfortable and inviting. Our waitress served us promptly and offered refills before we finished our drinks. I had the Slim Russ grilled panini (#18-1/2) and finished half. My husband had the Big Mouth Turkey (#6-1/2) and managed to finish it off. Both were so good! They were served with "new" pickles, so I asked the waitress about "old" pickles and she offered to bring me one to try. I really preferred the old pickle, it has that briny taste I want.
