I wish I never went. Don't get Dean. Horrible communication skills. I felt like I was pulling teeth trying to get info from him as it was my first time getting lamination. Wasn't honest with me how thick and coarse my hair was and how difficult it would be. I left with disheveled eyebrows. Worse than when I walked in. Not needing a wax obviously due to the coarse hair he should've tweezed and shaped them but just rushed me out and said "JUST DONT TOUCH THEM" when I voiced my concerns. I wish I could get my $95 back and just ordered a kit from Amazon. They don't thread at this place. I have been going to the Browtique and seeing Diana for years. She is truly amazing! I have really thick brows and in the past others had no idea what to do with them so they would either make them too thin or they would have no shape. Once I found Diana all of that changed and I haven't gone anywhere else sense. I always get compliments on my brows even between waxes. She makes it very easy to make appointments on the vagaro app, so there is no guess work about her availability (I do recommend booking several weeks in advance because she fills up quick). I've sent everyone in my family to her and she has even done micro blading for my mother. I would recommend her to anyone looking for fabulous brows! read more

There is nothing special about this place. They wax your brows unevenly and not just a little bit but a lot and then fill it in with pencil. The only reason why I came here was because I was visiting from out of town and need my brows done. My sister recently went there and walked out with butchered brows and got skin ripped off by wax. read more

This is the 2nd review I'm posting because Browtique had it removed from here & Facebook saying it was fake which it isn't. She also knowing it isn't fake had removed my 1 star rating & then blocked me so I can't write another review. I guess that's how she keeps her 5 star status. #5starfraud So here it is reposted. I was going to Browtique for 2 years with the promise of new full grown amazing brows. I was told it would take about 2 years. I'm sorry they are over priced & over rated. I guess if your used to the nail places doing your brows or the threading places at the mall then yes Diana is the "brow guru" to you. My experience with Diana was me growing them out to full expectations & her waxing them off to nearly nothing again. I bought the bdb grow serum she recommended to coconut oil to Anastasia brand to rapid growth & used them all regularly I was so wishing for full gorgeous brows & did see results only to have them removed again. How many appt will it take after 2 years for you to get it right? Then there was the price increase. Really? I thought you were only raising prices on new clients? Then all of a sudden I'm walking out paying $60 plus tip for brow wax & tint when I used to pay $45 plus tip. Only to go home...wash my face & realize my brows are gone...again. I left & debated if I should leave a review. I thought where would I go? I may get desperate & she is a step up from threading...but then I found a brow bar in nordstroms. There they didn't tint them which was disappointing but at least I walk away with eyebrows! After going to the brow bar I then realized (which I questioned while going to Browtique but thought what would I know right) why do we lay down? How can you shape my brows to MY face when your looking at me upside down? After going to brow bar I asked the girl & she thought that was strange too...when I went home & compared pictures....I actually looked more awake when my brows were done at the brow bar because of the points where she stopped my brows. Also looking AT my face she noticed how one eye is closer to the center then the other & why she would do them slightly different to give an even illusion. Guess what! I knew that & was surprised she noticed. Which I guess if Diana actually looked at my face she would have seen too! Anyway that's why they get one star in my book. Cause nail salons & threading get 0 & they are one step up. Nordstrom in oak brook is worth the drive! Diana will never get my money again! Every 3 weeks for 2 years...I could have gotten brow implants for what I paid (yes that's how desperate I was for full brows) ...but you probably would have removed those too. "Brow guru?" I spent about 5 months growing out my eyebrows after I walked out of a salon with what seemed like 10 hairs left per brow. I did a bunch of research before I decided to try The Browtique. The Browtique located in the Sola Salon Studios. It is basically a bunch of individual salon suites a number of beauty professionals use to run their own businesses. The first time I saw Diana she really took her time sculpting my brows. I knew I still had some growing in to do, but Diana used a brow pencil to show me the brows I could eventually have if I was patient and let her deal with them. I went in for my second appointment a few days ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. My whole face looks better. I won't trust anyone else with my eyebrows from now on. After seeing a co-workers eye brows I HAD to come in. I was previously getting them waxed and tinted at the benefit counter, but decided to try something different different and I am glad I did! I saw Stephanie after growing out my brows for a few months. I have blonde, thin eyebrows and she turned them into works of art! I have been back twice now and am not disappointed at all. She has personable and sweet each time. Pricy but well worth it. I drive from Schererville, Indiana to see Stephanie and the drive is worth it. Stephanie's waxing is painless and comfortable and somehow she I never leave there with redness all over. I am not one to complain about discomfort, but I had to note that I had very little pain the whole time-magic. Will continue to return. Stopped in and got a facial (dermaplaning) from Elizabeth yesterday. HOLY COW was it great. I have very sensitive, dry skin and she did an amazing job. As I mentioned before, I am prone to more redness than some and walked out of there with MINIMAL redness on my face. I was looking for a new brow place and went to yelp for suggestions. I went to the Browtique and they only do waxing, no threading. I stopped waxing my brows over 10 years ago because so many times various salons overwaxed them and made them way too thin, which is when I started threading. Anyway, the waxing at Browtique is listed as $30-$40 which seems really pricey to me. (as a point of reference, my bikini waxing is $26, which covers a whole lot more area.) read more

I was referred to the Browtique by a friend and decided to try them out. Diana did an excellent job on my eyebrows and she really takes her time. I let my eyebrows grow out for about 3 weeks and Diana did a great job shaping them and added an arch. We had great conversation and she is very pleasant. The prices are higher than my usual threading place but you pay for the service and technique. I will definitely be going back. read more

I stopped going to browtique as well after 2 years of service. My main complaint, and this was brought up to Diana and Cheryl, was that my brows were uneven. While I understand that no one can make them perfectly even, there was a HUGE difference between the 2. I was told by both ladies that no one is perfectly even or symmetrical. Considering I paid close to $60.00 to walk out of with distinctly uneven brows, I was extremely unsatisfied. I would end up having to tweeze my other brow at home to make it more even with the other. I shouldn't have to do this for the amount of money I was paying. Plus, I would only see Diana for maybe 15 minutes, never the 30 MINUTES they state on their website. The sloppy brow job happened twice with Diana and once with Cheryl, and each time I brought up the unevenness, their response was the same. The final time I went was with Diana, and this time I walked out with a right brow that was over waxed/tweezed, it was narrower in width than the left. The left brow also had a higher arch than the right. Again, I told Diana that they were uneven, and she showed me the mirror, said they weren't, and that was it. That was the final time I went to the browtique. I have since found another shop that is a ¼ of the cost, with higher quality service. The new shop is still trying to fix the damage from the browtique, and I have been going since August. I have hair that is not growing in places on my right brow, and the width is still off because of the over waxing/tweezing done at the browtique. I would never recommend going there, because I don't think the focus is on the quality of work anymore. The sad thing is, I used to love going to Browtique. However, once they re-did the shop the quality of service drastically decreased. The main reason I believe these issues started was because the rooms are so narrow, the ladies can't maneuver around the beds. Diana would always sit when doing my brows, she would have access to the right side, and have me turn and angle my head to reach the left. I think being unable to maneuver around a persons head is the reason why I was leaving with uneven brows, this was NEVER an issue before the rooms were drastically narrowed in order to cram in more beds, in a small location. read more

Cute place and the estheticians there know what they are doing. My eyebrows came out great. I took away a star due to price - way too expensive. I won't be going as often as I would like to get my eyebrows done. Also, it is difficult to get in for an appointment. I like using their online booking system, but there are only three girls that work there and the next available appointment is in a month. ***This is an update. I have been here twice and like I mentioned early that it is difficult to get an appointment, and now it has gotten worse. It is October 25th and the next available appointment is December 31st! Hadn't had my eyebrows done in years. Wanted to give them some shape for my upcoming wedding. Stephanie did an excellent job! I was a little scared at first but my eyebrows have never looked better. My eyebrows needed some serious shaping after years of $10 wax jobs at nail salons etc. Stephanie did a phenomenal job!
