Overall a decent breakfast spot. Nothing fancy but good food. Inside is a little dingy but clean. Servers were attentive and nice. Food came out quick eggs, bacon, sausage all good. Unfortunately biscuits and gravy were cold.

My husband and I came here for breakfast one morning and he loved it so much that he requested to come back for Father's Day breakfast. This is a nice, clean little place that just does breakfast/brunch and lunch. It has plenty of seating and a good-sized menu. It definitely had everything that we could want at fair prices. The waitresses here are really friendly and listen to what you want and suggest things as well. The coffee is good diner coffee. The grits are bland, but that's expected at many diners around here that have an older clientele. The omelettes and skillet dishes are delicious. They know how to cook an egg. The bacon is done just right as well. Biscuits are super fluffy. Speaking of biscuits, the sausage gravy is top-notch. Absolutely one of the better ones around here. Large chunks of sausage and creamy, peppery white sauce with no lumps. I highly recommend if you like biscuits and gravy. Plenty of parking, just be careful on Memorial Blvd if you are on the opposite side of the road and have to make a u-turn to get here.

    Child size wrap

    1) They are in the ghetto 2) rude, mouthy waitress 3) food portions small with big price. I ordered cheese steak wrap. It was child's size. It was $9.59. Sides was either potato salad or coleslaw. $1.99 for fries. There is more ingredients and labor in the other two options. 4) I usually order egg white omelette for breakfast, but couldn't afford it here. They charge $.99 per egg if you do egg whites only, which would of cost over $13. That doesn't include a side. 5) they have Fox News on their tv 6) they charge extra to use a credit card, and tell you.

Ate it all and it was glorious

Just like a Midwest comfort meal for breakfast/brunch. It's almost always known that if there's a restaurant inside an old Pizza Hut, then the food is going to be amazing. It's definitely the case for The Brunch Box. The staff are so friendly and fun. They give you honest opinions about which dish of your choosing is best to try. The food was amazing. I had a two egg breakfast like I get everywhere and the buttery scrambled eggs were a comfort blanket. The license plates and overall feel of the space was warm and welcoming. Can't wait to go again!

Oh my goodness the food was fantastic. I had biscuit sausage gravey, my son had waffles and chicken, my husband had bacon egg and cheese biscuit sandwich. My son's friend had Frenchtoast, the OJ is fresh squeezed. The food was out quickly and the place is so cute, our server was the best. 100% recommend Biscuit's and Benidict's!!! Skip this joint as the brunch box sucks.

Scrambled eggs, diced ham, hash browns and coffee at Brunch Box

I stopped in for breakfast here as it was close to a Drs appt that I had and I didn't want to go to leave the general vicinity The restaurant was clean and pleasant. The waitress was very sweet and patient as it took me a minute or two to look at the menu and make a decision. I had the scrambled eggs with diced ham, hash browns and an English muffin waaay better than drive thru. Hot and fresh real food. When the waitress asked me to make a bread choice I was happy that they had English muffins as an option, but I hesitated. Without missing a beat the waitress said " I will look and see if we have orange marmalade ". Yaaaaas! I had the muffin grilled instead of toasted and it was wonderful. Truly had I known that it was that good I would have skipped the potatoes and had 2 muffins. I bread. The staff here was SUPER nice there were people that came in that were obviously regulars which is always a good sign for me. I enjoyed this spot and will definitely come back when I am out this way. My only disappointment was that they only had half &half for the coffee, I wasn't up for the spectacle of lactose intolerance this morning which meant that I couldn't have my coffee WITH my English muffin. This is a good place to have a great breakfast.

    The supreme skillet.

The supreme skillet. This is by far the best thing I have eaten here. It was cooked perfectly. Definitely shareable. The waitresses are always nice. Good quick service!

This restaurant is under new ownership, and should be AVOIDED! Two of us went for breakfast this morning, arriving about 10am. Took our server almost 15 minutes to take the drink order, but she did acknowledge us early on. Seemed odd that the full dining room showed virtually NO FOOD on the tables. We placed our order, and 40 minutes later it arrived. I don't know what to call the mess of eggs that were served, but they were not even close to the over medium that was ordered. My ham steak had a bad odor and taste, so it went back. Friend's link sausage wasn't right either, and when split in half, showed something foreign in the center. These went back also. The owner did adjust the bill according, and our server apologized profusely (none of this was her fault). As I was paying the owner at the register, 2 other customers came up to pay and told her they would never be back. I gave her the same feedback. To top it off, I'm posting a picture of their Craig's List ad for cooks that blatantly states they only will hire age 45 or younger!

The restaurant is small and designed with beautiful architecture to match the hotel. We really enjoyed the Pistachio Espresso Martini's (not creamy if that's your vibe like me!). The grouper sandwich was delicious and I loved the slaw. My boyfriend really loved the burger as well. Our server was so sweet, but service was a bit slow. We went on a Sunday and they only serve the brunch menu since they close at 2 PM on Sundays. The restaurant wasn't overly busy when we got there, so it was disappointing to have slower service without really seeing how/why. Overall food was delicious and we would definitely be back to try a few of the dinner options next time.

Our server described the dishes perfectly. I tried the Beef Wellington and loved it. I was not crazy about the mashed potatoes I felt like they lacked flavor but the Beef Wellington was the star. The menu is french inspired but portions are over the top even by american standards. The cordon blue must have used two chicken breasts as it was easily 10" long and at least 3" across. Honestly, it's enough for dinner, lunch, and dinner again the next day and that's coming from a guy. The cooking was well prepared, chicken and fish were cooked to the correct doneness, but there's a few places for improvement. Too many things were overly salty and the chef seems to favor garlic to the point that it impairs the flavors of the rest of the food. I would never have described the brussel sprouts as "pan fried", they were boiled and then hit a pan for like 30 seconds. One of the heavily salted items, between the texture and the salt, they were nearly inedible. One quick side rant - do restaurants not understand that we all have cell phones and can google the retail price of a bottle of wine? I'm not paying $10/glass for a wine that is $11/bottle (and probably not buying $11 wine anyway). Cut your prices in half and you'll actually sell so much more that you'll make up the profit in volume. Win-win. For a french menu, I didn't see a single french wine on the list. Hmmm Desserts sounded great, the only one we had was the creme brulee. The custard was perfect with a strong vanilla flavor and you could see the beans in it. The caramelized sugar was too thick. You should be able to crack it by tapping it with your spoon, not have to stab it to force it to break. Anything more than 1 mm is too thick. Getting all frenchie and metric on you. Still, a respectable place. I'd like to see a wider variety of herbs and spices used and tone down the the salt and garlic. This place has michelin potential, but is held back by Food Prep 101 mistakes.
