Spectacular Vicki came through for me once again. My VERY favorite breakfast is Crab and Cream Cheese Crepes. For some reason for this recipe a different type of crepe is needed and they have a difficult time getting it. Each time I come in I ask for it and they do not have it on the menu. On this visit Spectacular Chef Vicki, who just happened to be on on her day off, overheard me asking Sweet Julia, our waitress if this item was available. She turned to us and said "I remember you". Spectacular Vicki checked and I was rewarded with my favorite breakfast. Now that is exceptional service. We love the Brunchery, we can eat on the patio with our pups, always delicious even if my favorite breakfast is not always available and such great service. Having changed hands a while back, and post covid giving it a shot, bland describes both the atmosphere and the food. In the large open dining area there is nothing to recall pleasantly other than hopefully your company. Omelette was rubbery, servers were nice, experience overall was lackluster. Visited after COVID restrictions were lifted. Some staff wore masks. Some didn't. There is limited outdoor seating--two umbrella picnic tables. Staff was very attentive, esp given we were the only guests sitting outside. Menu offers a good variety for breakfast and lunch. We visited on a weekday during the summer. Dining room was fairly full for 11:30. Maybe a five minute wait. Food was tasty and prices are fair. We'd return for sure. read more

My husband and I used to come here all the time for brunch, but have been slightly unimpressed lately. The food is good, but the staff/service has shifted a bit. There have been a handful of times where we have tried to order for pick-up and when we call, the person on the other line seems bothered. Our last experience, the person put us on "hold" and proceeded to speak to what I assume was another employee about how annoyed they were and continued on a rant that made us feel like an inconvenience. Updating review since there is a new owner. We went this weekend and it was wonderful. The menu is scaled back, understandably so right now, and I think that is better. Everything was fresh. We had chicken fried steak and eggs with hash browns. Both our eggs - poached and overlight- were done perfectly. Chicken fried steaks were good. The gravy is good 'restaurant' gravy, lacks flavor and tastes like packet- but it is better than other restaurants. And I have to say this place is much more enjoyable now with fewer tables. I know that is by mandate- but before it was table on top of table, the place is super loud anyway, and add in all the ambient sounds of silverware, plates, screaming kids - we used to like the food but hate the atmosphere. No amount of decorative roosters can make up for how loud it was. But now - with half that noise- it was pleasant. read more

I've been obsessed with this place since I moved to this side of town. They have a fantastic menu that accommodates health nuts like me and normal humans who don't care about having abs and just want tasty stuff. Their omelets are so beautiful and delicious. My kids always get the pancakes and clear their plates, my husband always gets the skillets. They even have quiches. They have breakfast and a lunch menu with salads and sandwiches etc. Honestly the breakfast is so good I haven't moved to the lunch because I WANT the breakfast. I love how they have a heart healthy menu so much. As a nurse that made me sooo happy. They have the warmest friendliest wait staff in town as well. No one in that restaurant looks miserable. It's always a joy for me to go. My only "negative" is the old ownership had the thick cut bacon which was super good but it doesn't deter me from coming. I love this place.
