My hubs calls this Adults R Us! We find ourselves here several days each week buying materials for Work. We're in the construction industry and Home Depot is all things construction! The employees are not hard to find and are ready to assist with any issues! Tonight we returned a defective caulk gun and the service desk without hesitation replaced it on the spot ! Excellent customer service is one of the many reasons we shop here !

I came here to purchase my Christmas tree. I normally purchase it from the Home Depot in Rivergate, but since I was on this side I thought coming here would be a great experience also. Unfortunately that did not happen from the time I arrived to the time I left. Pulling in I was looking for the giant white tent that I'm use to seeing at Rivergate. They did y have one which was fine, their trees were located in the nursery. But if you go at night like I did please be advised that this entire store location in pourly lit. There was no lighting on the signyhat showed that they provided trees at their location. Which is why I did not notice they had trees at al. After parking and walking inside is when I noticed the two trees at the entrance. So I walked out to the nursery area and found the Christmas trees. Unfortunately there was no one out there to greet me or provide any assistance at all. The trees were large and a little difficult to pick up and some hadn't been cut open so I couldn't look at them. After about 10 minutes I de used to try and find someone. No one seemed to be available to assist so I left and now I'm heading 20 minutes away from pineville to Rivergate in hopes that they won't close by the time I arrive as it's 8:22pm. Yes I would rather drive out my way, and to a place where I know I'll be well taken care of. Sad and very unfortunate but true.

Meh. It's a Home Depot that is no better and no worse than any other Home Depot I've been into. I was looking for one specific item in the plumbing department and their selection was only one and it didn't have the features I wanted. Oh well, there's always Amazon.

Hello Friends, (Disclaimer) I have been on a serious Planking kick. One of my favorite show (online) is Sam the Cooking Guy. He made a Cedar Plank Salmon that looked outta this world. Sooooo In comes Home Depot. Instead of ordering cedar planks online for 10-34.99 or going to Wally world or the like and buying them for around 15 bucks. Under the direction of Sam, I went to a lumber yard. (well not quite but you get the point). I walked in and straight to the wood sections. Asked the guy for UNTREATED Cedar Wood. Well he pointed me in the direction of A LOT of different wood. I told him what i was trying to do and he in fact told me to go to Wally World. NO THANKS. He pointed me to some Cedar Wood 6ft tall. Well, i picked one up and asked if he could cut thme into 12 inch long "planks". He did so and I was outta there... Total cost for 6feet of Cedar wood cut into 6 twelve inch cuts... = 2.76. So instead of spending 10-35 bucks on 2 -12 inch planks, I spent 2.76 on 6 -12 inch planks. WINNING!!!! (of course i took pictures)

And so here's Flippin Jays who manages to get a truckload of chest freezers in an assortment of sizes. I wanted one and they wanted to sell one. The purchase process could have been smoother but I'm very forgiving here. Six feet of "social distancing" doesn't work well when you have a bunch of folks who want something that's in short supply. They did as well as they could under the circumstances and everyone who was there at the store when it opened got their purchase, though maybe not in the order they had originally queued up. That's a minor ding. And speaking of minor ding, this is "scratch and dent." My chest freezer was clearly used but it's operational, guaranteed for 90 days and I'm sure some "goo gone" will get rid of the marks on it. The folks did not want to be dealing with the public today. Definitely not a bunch of people who were about a minute away from an actual riot. But they did pretty well keeping things as organized as they could and selling what people wanted to buy They loaded it into my vehicle for me, which was awesome service. Given the significant investment--equivalent to the cost of a vehicle--we expected a much higher level of service, installation expertise, and customer support. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The installation team was represented as Sub-Zero certified, yet multiple appliances were installed incorrectly. Several parts were missing from the original shipment, and our Sub-Zero grill was damaged after installers attempted to force it into place upside down before realizing it needed to be repositioned correctly. The damage was severe enough that the grill had to be replaced. The installers also wore shoes throughout our home without protective covers and were not particularly professional or courteous. When a certified Sub-Zero repair technician from Gantt later came to replace the damaged grill, they discovered additional installation issues that should never have happened. The refrigerator brackets had not been secured to the wall, creating a potential safety concern. We also learned that the beverage center door was not the correct configuration for our order--the handle was on the right side instead of the left. The door had been installed upside down, requiring additional service and correction. Our experience with the Electrolux washer and dryer was equally frustrating. We quickly discovered that the washer drum was damaging our clothing. When we reached out to the Independence Boulevard store for assistance, we discovered the location had closed and were repeatedly directed to work directly with Electrolux rather than receiving support from the retailer where we made the purchase. After being unable to resolve the issue with the original store, we were directed to another Queen City HomeStore location for assistance. Unfortunately, the resolution process remained slow and difficult, and we felt passed between the retailer and manufacturer rather than supported by either. After months of trying to resolve the issue through normal channels, we ultimately had to dispute the purchase through our credit card company to force a resolution. As a result, we spent nearly six months using a washer that was ruining our clothes while trying to get the problem addressed. After this experience, we purchased an LG washer and dryer directly from LG. The process was seamless, the customer service was excellent, and we have had no issues. While we were very impressed with the professionalism and expertise of Gantt's certified Sub-Zero technician, we cannot say the same about our experience with Queen City Audio Video & Appliances. For the amount we spent on appliances for our new home, we expected competent installation, responsive customer service, and support when problems arose. Instead, the entire process became a lengthy, frustrating, and expensive headache that left us feeling unsupported once the sale was complete.

I fell in love with the Samsung Bespoke 4-door refrigerator. After inspecting the refrigerator for damages I felt comfortable purchasing it. It had a couple of dings on each side which I was completely cool with because no one would see them. JT gave us a great deal on the refrigerator. JT advised us that they will call us on Tuesday to set up delivery for Wednesday. I guess the first inclination of a problem is when I didn't get a call on Tuesday. I called JT on Wednesday morning to see what time my delivery would arrive. He advises me that they are still working on a schedule and he will call me later. About mid-day still no call. I called JT yet again and asked what time my delivery would arrive as I had some running to do. He advised me to do what I had to the drivers would call me when they are on their way. Well, the call NEVER came! My husband called on Thursday to find out what was going on. He was advised that the driver hurt himself and was at the emergency room so they were trying to get help from other stores to assist them with the deliveries. We advised that our refrigerator would be delivered towards the end of the day. Nope...never happened!! Towards the end of Thursday, my husband was informed that the helpers quit and that we would not get our refrigerator till Friday morning. Friday morning came and went. The drivers got to my house around 4 pm to deliver my refrigerator. As they were taking measurements I asked if I could see my refrigerator. The delivery guys were very friendly and had no problem showing me the refrigerator. As I am looking at the refrigerator I notice more than a couple of dings on each side. I am now looking at long scrapes on the bottom, the refrigerator door dinged and damaged, draws scraping as they are being pulled out, and the back of the refrigerator is completely indented in two areas. I advised the guys I am not happy and do not want the refrigerator. I called the store and spoke with JT. JT was insistent that there was no damage. I asked to speak to the manager. Ernest gets on the and I start telling him about the damage. We didn't hit it off very well as he rebutted that the damage was already there. I know it wasn't. He wasn't even in the store when we bought the unit..and I took pictures of the whole refrigerator. Pictures were taken in the excitement of the option to change the panels. Needless to say, I was pissed that he had the gall to tell me I was lying about the damage. I told Ernest that I was sending back the unit to the store. He advised me that he had another unit however he couldn't have it delivered until Sunday. I told Ernest that my husband and I would come in on Saturday to see what our options are and wanted it delivered on Saturday. As I walk into the store Ernest was helping another customer...however he did acknowledge our presence and advised that JT would help us. So the original refrigerator I picked out and sent back was 29 cu ft sitting right in the front of the store. JT was trying to convince my husband and me that the 23 cu was the same size as the one we sent back. I refused the first option of the Bespoke he gave us. It was more dinged up and it was way smaller. I walked around the store for a few with anxious feelings. I need a refrigerator and needed it asap as I had family coming in from out of town. As my husband and I went back over to the refrigerator we sent back to take an inside measurement I pulled Ernest over to go over the new damage. As I showed him all the damages..he admitted that they were not there when we purchased the refrigerator. So now we are hunting to find a 29 cu ft refrigerator. We came across another Bespoke refrigerator with a tablet in the door. JT had shown it to us the first time we were in the store. We decided to take that refrigerator however it didn't have all the panels on it just the one with the tablet. Ernest agreed to put panels on the refrigerator so we agreed to take it. He did tell us that he only had 3 white panels and one blue. I was ok with that. He advised us that he can't have it delivered till Sunday. I told him that the trust is gone and I needed my refrigerator asap. Ernest promised that if he couldn't find anyone to deliver it to us he would deliver it himself by noon. So I took another chance. Ernest and one of his employees were at my front door by 11 am with my refrigerator. They delivered and installed it. I was so happy. I must say Ernest kept his word which is really important to us. We are repeat customers..and will continue to shop there since Ernest made a bad situation better.

The plants arrived after 3 PM on Friday, July 3rd. I opened the box immediately and was disappointed to find one plant clearly damaged (broken stems and crushed foliage) and the remaining five in only fair to poor condition--wilted, stressed, and showing signs of rough handling during shipping. Because I had family company arriving for the 4th of July holiday weekend, I was unable to take and send detailed photos within their strict 24-hour claim window. I emailed them today (Monday, July 6th) with a full explanation of the circumstances, photos of the damaged plant, and a polite request to replace just the one severely damaged plant. Unfortunately, they refused to make any exception to their policy. While I understand businesses need policies to protect against abuse, a rigid 24-hour window with no flexibility for a legitimate holiday-weekend delivery--especially when the damage was noticed immediately upon opening--feels overly punitive. The quality of the plants themselves was also subpar compared to what I expected for the price. I've had better experiences with other mail-order nurseries that show more customer-friendly flexibility during busy holiday periods. I won't be ordering from Creekside Nursery again. Rating: 2/5 stars (one star for the attempt to fulfill the order, one for eventual response)
