Secondly- I had to have a revision done since he and the team left a "dog ear" that looks like an unusual protrusion. Even after the revision -it's still present. Bathing suits worn have to be a certain type to hide the error and damage that wasn't addressed properly. After multiple phone calls with management- both Dr's. ( I inquired of both) refused any type of compensation for these issues that are now something I have to see everyday. I'm very disappointed in my results that are now almost a year old. My desires were made very clear to the staff and Downs. I would encourage others considering this establishment to do research on other plastic surgeons in the area. Why can't you professionals figure that crap out? Next I get back with my X-rays early for my appointment. The f*cking idiot Dr. turned me away because "you were sick". I explained my illness to them and that it is nothing contagious. I have esrd and can't walk all that way w/o getting an upset stomach. I explained how hard it was for me to get there and be there. Nope. No compassion. They said reschedule. I said this is a broken bone and it's already been rescheduled on their account once. Now my broken hand will probably need rebroken because it's been so long. No lie, every time I go to a St Joe facility there is always a flucking problem. Now I've found that reviews of his practice are 5 to 1 against him, most finding him arrogant, without compassion, and indifferent. I'd have to add ignorant to the other descriptive terms now that he's ejected me to the curb, to face opioid withdrawal cold turkey, after decades of opioid prescriptions. I, as several others that I know of, had to go to the ER after 'treatment' by him, spent almost a week there, and he refused to visit, right across the street from his office. I later learned that he has NO affiliations & no authorization with that hospital, which is counter to his information posted on many of the reference pages where he is listed. This is after I took the week off of work for the surgery, and will now have my return to work delayed for recovery time because the surgery is now rescheduled elsewhere at a later date. Today is Tuesday and I received a voicemail saying "just to let you know you have an appointment scheduled this Friday and unfortunately we are going to need to cancel that appointment. It looks like you are actually being dismissed from our practice. If you have any questions feel free to call us at 335-8500 thank you..." I, of course, called after being told I can no longer go to the same doctor anymore and was told well that would mean I can't get my prescription refilled and I immediately am done taking the same medicine I've been taking since high school and I need to find a different doctor... pretty much saying I'm not their problem anymore! After back and fourth phone calls all day and different stories as to how they came to this decision. I pretty much found out the office got audited in some way because of prescription they have been prescribing (I'm guessing the wrong way) and now pretty much are just going to get rid of the patients they must have messed up the paperwork on. The whole situation is very strange to me and I just want to warn any future possible patients to please reconsider because this office only thinks of you as a number and not a person anymore. They will try anything to put the blame on you whenever they mess anything up...
