Took my 2020 Kia Sedona to this place that was recommended to me by someone. I love supporting the small businessman. The owner tells me to bring my car in the next day. When I drop my car off the owner was suppose to meet me. He had left on a 1 week vacation. The person that took my car said the owner would give me an estimate. Two weeks later the owner calls me and tells me to pick up my car because it was taking up parking space and they have to move it to the street everyday. I asked is it finished and he said yes. I said I have an estimate from my insurance company but I never received one from you. He told me the insurance company did not pay enough so I contacted the insurance company and they told me when they receive and invoice from The Bumper Dude that they will pay me the difference minus my deductible. I paid cash for my work done which was a dent on my side of car I got in a parking lot. I did not ever receive an invoice for an estimate or a receipt for the cash from the Bumper Dude. I went to this place four times to meet with the owner and never did see him. The person that referred me to him called him and he said he was finished doing business with me. Now, mind you, I was trying to be cordial, respectful and nice. When he called me to bring cash 4 times in one day and I said I am busy right now, I sensed he wasn't happy. I took half the money that afternoon and picked up my car, he was suppose to meet me, and of course he wasn't there. I said to his employee that he needs to return my insurance company's call. I called and text him, the owner, many times. After I left he called and said just bring me the rest of the money in cash. His business is 30 miles one way for me so that was a lot of driving. I have a truck that needs painting but I surely won't use this business ever again. read more

This review is long over due, but here it goes. I had an accident with a parking lot bollard, which scraped the rear right side of my car and destroyed the panel. Since this happened on a Sunday afternoon, I was unable to get a hold of any mechanics except for Manny and one other person. After I sent him a few photos, he was able to give me a quote immediately. It was an urgent job because I needed to drive back home to the OC in a few days for the 4th of July weekend. Manny was able to give me a very reasonable quote for the damage (it was almost 1/3 of what the other person quoted me for), and he was able to accommodate with my schedule and fixed my car on time so I got to drive home to see my friends and family right away. Although I didn't need it, he also provides mobile service where he would come to you as long as there is a driveway.
