Our company had The Bumper Dude and one of his employees come out to work on (2) vehicles. The first was a 2018 Kia Sorento and the second was a 2017 Chevy Silverado. The quoting process was simple and upon arrival they were very professional. When he had finished the Kia, there was still visible damage. he returned the next day to fix the damage and that day he started working on the Chevy. When the Chevy was finished, there was over-spray on both the hood and the windshield. We reached out to see if he could buff out and remove the over-spray from the windshield which he said he would. We left texts and voicemails about rescheduling and never received a response. We were bummed about the need to return to fix both vehicles and the lack of response and initiative in trying to rectify the situation. read more

Not someone I would trust with my car after this experience because: 1. bought a groupon deal 2. got a quote for $250 to do bumper 3. set appointment, told him where I was located 4. got a call saying that the price was going to be an additional $100 because of groupon, said he quotes with groupon deal so the groupon doesn't sell out, ok, I can understand this so I got a refund for the groupon and planned to pay him direct. (thought it was a little shady tho) 5. Waited today for him to show up, at the time he was scheduled to be at my house he did call to say he was still at his first job of the day and had another before me scheduled and he would not be making it today, needed to reschedule. Then he said he didn't know I was so far away although we discussed where I was located when we set up the appointment. My 2004 Toyota Tacoma, which I love with all my automotive heart, had developed a big silvery paint-loss bald spot on the hood. It was about two feet by one foot big, due to the impressive and relentless San Diego sun. It would only be a brief matter of time before paint loss's evil cousin Rust came for a permanent visit. I got into a parking lot fender bender and was left with a dent on my bumper. I had gotten a quote from a shop, but they told me they'd need the car left with them for one to two days. Two different someones hit my new Subaru Outback over a period of a couple of months and neither culprit left a note taking responsibility. I happened to see the Bumper Dude's moving billboard near the college where I work and I went and asked him for an estimate. He was very professional and accommodating and worked with me to my schedule an appointment in a very timely manner. The first day, the work was completed but, there was a slight problem with the final clear coat (which I honestly didn't notice it until the technician pointed it out to me) so Manny immediately called me apologizing profusely and then he personally returned the next day to redo. The work completed was perfect and the cost was reasonable compared to what the Caliber Collision folks were going to charge me. Can't say enough good things about thebumperdude. My Toyota Prius had multiple dings, dents and even a tear on the rear bumper (I have NO idea how they got there, but there were a BUNCH of them;-) and the hood had major oxidation which I could almost watch grow. Manny gave me a very reasonable estimate, CAME TO MY HOUSE, on time, and finished the job in one day. So no having to drop my car off at the shop and go without -- I actually got things done while I waited and could even watch him do the work if I was so inclined - which honestly didn't interest me for very long.
