And my spontaneously visiting the South Bay, I wanted to see Dino and/or sons next door at Paisano's. With the immediate positive greeting from Michelle's salesperson, Joy, I felt so welcome. And looking around, I would have gotten "in trouble" with my credit card if I had been at Saks Fifth Avenue or the like. The dresses, the jewelry, the beautiful and unique cow print skirts... wow. And my boyfriend had not yet gifted me a Christmas present. Opportunity. With the help of Joy, we took photos, and that helped me "sell" my boyfriend. Joy and I really had fun, taking photos, deciding on which shawls, what jewelry - what really "meshed" with my wardrobe and current jewelry. texted photos to my boyfriend. He quickly agreed that these would be "his" Christmas gift to me. The best thing? I honestly did not get into as much trouble (money-wise) as the prices were reasonable - and there was a special. The shawl, the earrings, the bracelets (that match my newly purchased jewelry in Morocco) AND the perfect gray cowboy hat, that salesperson Joy strongly recommended, were perfect in my wardrobe. The neatest part? I wore all of, every purchased item this afternoon, the shawl, the jewelry (bracelets and earrings), the gray cowboy hat -  and received 3 compliments from strangers. Thank you so much, as I hope to purchase the "heart" silver bracelet if it might be fixed, allowing stronger magnetism.  I am so impressed with the salesperson AND the quality of the jewelry and clothes. Thank you for my belated Christmas gifts!

They have woman's clothing from dresses and pants, to yoga wear, to bathing suits (some only $9), hats, jewelry, bags, and now selling cotton masks. I picked out a pretty little floral dress that fit perfectly, and only $22! Open 7 days a week until 6pm. There are a couple curtain dressing rooms and you can try anything on. The owner is very welcoming and sweet. I asked her if there was a Yelp page, and her response was hilarious...that she's old & doesn't social media. So I told her I would start one up for her business. I will definitely be coming back to check out her new items next time I'm back in the downtown Manhattan Beach area.

Because when my soon-to-be daughter-in-law was visiting from SF, she was exploring the Village one day by herself & came back with a gorgeous grey knit wrap. From Alandrea, of course. Expensive? Nope, she said....on sale! So yeah, their sales are good. Regular prices are not cheap, but their styles seem to be worth it. And they carry Frye boots. And nice jeans & accessories. Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The employees closely followed us throughout the store and made us feel as though we were being watched because they assumed we might steal something. The treatment we received felt like racial profiling, and it was both embarrassing and hurtful. Rather than feeling like valued customers, we felt judged and singled out. Despite the uncomfortable atmosphere, I still made a purchase and bought a pair of earrings. However, that purchase was only a fraction of what I intended to spend. I came into the store fully prepared to buy multiple items and would have gladly spent considerably more. Instead, the employees' behavior completely discouraged me from continuing to shop. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that the store lost out on a much larger sale because of the way my daughters and I were treated. Customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected--not scrutinized and judged. Had we been treated with kindness and professionalism, I likely would have purchased several additional items and returned in the future. I also noticed several other potential customers walk into the store and quickly leave without making a purchase. Customer service plays a huge role in whether people choose to shop and spend money, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking during my visit. I have never felt so profiled while shopping before, and it was a deeply upsetting experience. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable because of their appearance, race, or background. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides better training to ensure that all customers are treated with respect, dignity, and professionalism. Sadly, what should have been an enjoyable shopping experience turned into one that left me feeling unwelcome, disappointed, and unlikely to return
