AMAZING! As a big fan of the local escape room scene, I'm so grateful we ended up here on a rainy Friday evening as our plans with The Mouse fell through! My friends booked everything online, which was fairly easy, and we met up to see if we could conquer the room we had chosen. First and foremost if you think you're in the wrong place when you pull up, look again, the sign is small and hidden... cause it's AN ESCAPE ROOM. Once we stepped into the initial room, the detail to the theming was *immaculate*! Stepping into the main waiting area, the ceilings are high, the theming remains impressive, and best part--they have SNACKS! We had amazing service thanks to Samantha, who gave us an overview of the place and how they do things. No boxes, keys, lockboxes, etc., which left us curious about how we would enjoy the room... well no need to worry, we were super engaged for every bit of time we were trying to escape with our lives! The room was incredibly well designed, and there were a number of engaging ways in which the puzzles were solved. 10 out of 10, this place was awesome and I will absolutely be back! read more

Of the many we've done in various states, this would be one of my top two escape rooms ever visited. We opted for UFO and found it to have a quality design and enough to keep multiple people involved, yet with only having 2 of us we managed to escape with only seconds to spare. Multi room experience involving lots of cool and unique interactive props and clues. There were a couple of parts that we might've never figured out without the computer clues found within, but otherwise things were decently tricky without being impossible. We have played two games here now and had a great time. The location was not difficult to find but getting in after you get through the door? That was a unique experience. We played both the puppet room and the UFO room. Both were unique and unlike other games we have played. We did the room with just the two of us and were able to get out both times. For the UFO room, the advise there is a fog effect that may irritate. Also, if you type on the computer in the room, you will be getting hints. I kept thinking I was talking to an AI bot. For the puppet room and exceeded my expectations. Overall, this is a great place and they have both a game show and a karaoke room that I can't wait to come back too. We had fun doing the escape room, but the one we chose, about a robot uprising, was different than escape rooms I was used to and it took me a while to get the concept. There was no actual escape, it was saving robots and some parts felt unclear to me. By the third room we got the hang of it. We were told that is their only game that is structured like that, and I'd love to go back and try a more traditional escape room. I also want to try their game shows. I have been to ALOT of escape rooms. My husband and I used to live in Las Vegas and we did so many I have lost count. This experience is really one of a kind. It's not stressful and you don't get overwhelmed with a ton of logic questions and math! I hate math. Ew. We did the haunted school and without giving it away I can tell you that I felt immersed. I got spooked in a good way. The way that you laugh right after because you didn't see it coming! It's dark in there so if you don't like using a flashlight - it's not for you. We had 4 people and that was perfect. I wish I could mind wipe and do it again. We will definitely be back!!!! Also our attendant was the bomb!!! It was a such a fun experience because they had trivia categories that you can choose from and some smaller type of interactive games. Original: We are a family of escape-room regulars. My wife, my 11-year-old son, and I do escape rooms almost every weekend, and we've been to this location several times. The rooms themselves are creative, well-designed, and genuinely different from what you find elsewhere, which is why we keep coming back. Unfortunately, the staff experience has consistently fallen short, and our most recent visit crossed from disappointing into frustrating. Before posting this review, I reached out directly to the business with detailed feedback, hoping to give them an opportunity to respond or address the issue. I never heard back. Our visit on Sunday afternoon was especially problematic. When we arrived, there were several staff members behind the counter. Everyone was polite, but there was very little energy or enthusiasm--something we've noticed here before. During the game, we asked for a couple of hints, and it felt like our room was not being actively monitored. Delays happen, but these felt excessive and broke immersion. The most frustrating moment came at the end. Without giving anything away, we completed what we reasonably believed was the final step, only to later discover that the actual ending sequence occurred elsewhere--something we had no way of knowing. As a result, we completely missed the conclusion of the game. That alone would have been disappointing but understandable. What made it worse was how it was handled. The staff member who entered afterward suggested the issue was our fault for interacting with a prop "incorrectly," something that was never explained or hinted at during the game. We were then rushed out of the room with no debrief, no explanation of what we missed, no opportunity to see the ending, and not even a basic "How was the game?" At first, we assumed we were being hurried because our time had expired. Only later did we realize we still had roughly 15 minutes remaining. It appeared the rush had more to do with staffing convenience than guest experience. This was, quite frankly, the most disappointing escape room experience we've had anywhere--not because of the room itself, which is excellent, but because of how the experience was managed at the end. That is especially frustrating, because the underlying product is strong and clearly took real effort to design. As a business owner, I know feedback like this isn't fun to read--but it's the kind I would want to receive. With more engaged staff and better end-of-game handling, this place could easily be outstanding instead of inconsistent. I hope this is taken in the constructive spirit intended. read more

I had a blast with a small group of 4 in the Loch Ness room. The set up was quite unique, and although we ran into some difficulties, the staff provided helpful hints if you ask. I think this room would be quite challenging with fewer than 4 people. Everything worked well, but the one technical aspect I wish could be improved was that it was quite dim in the room, and even though my friends and I are young, we had to squint to read some of the words and felt the urge to use our phone flashlight to see better. Overall though, this room was great for team-building and had many collaborative aspects that were fun. We were ultimately able to accomplish the mission but weren't told how much time had been left. On a general note, all the staff we interacted with were very friendly, and I actually really appreciated the lounge area which is quite spacious and comfortable. Robot room is absolutely trash. You get put in a room with no information and you have to tinker around until something happens or the people feel bad and message you. No story, no plot. Maybe we picked the wrong room because I'm seeing lots of other good reviews. The atmosphere/decor was really cool so I imagine another room might be more fun. I have actually never heard of the Bureau until our friend booked it for her birthday. They are located near the outlets on International Drive. Just follow GPS. We had so much fun, and I cannot wait to go back! We have another couple that is our escape room buddies and we can't wait to take them here! Your first test is right away. I don't want to give anything away but just know that. Once you finally get inside you are greeted by one of the employees who will bring you to the lobby area. You will have to sign waivers before going in. The area to wait for your time is really nice, kinda dark, but they have couches and chairs to sit on and wait. Now something different than we have seen, is they come and take your drink order, which you can bring with you into the room!! I have not seen this, and I absolutely loved this feature. We ordered our drinks and were ready to go. Another difference than most other escape rooms, is they give you a dossier of your "assignment" instead of watching a video. There are also lockers for you to put your belongings in should you not want to carry them. Our guide took us to our room, she explained they are different in that we are unable to ask for hints from our guide, however, there are "fans" that can assist you. In our case, for our room, The UFO, we could chat on the computer. It is the same, but I really liked this feature as opposed to someone over the loudspeaker giving us our hints. She also told us that there are no locks or keys, we have to think outside the box. I don't want to give away too much but this was a fun room. We needed to open lots of doors to get to other areas in the escape room. Some of the puzzles were easy to solve and some were a bit more challenging. We were able to escape with 8 minutes left. My only complaint is that there are dark areas and a flashlight would have been helpful. We have always been given a flashlight to use and I missed it here. I also would have liked a timer countdown. I like to know how much time we have left. Besides this, we will be back. There are one or two rooms that seem like it might be more on the scary side, which I do not like, but there are a couple more I can't wait to try here. I love how immersive all of the rooms are. I've now completed all of the rooms they currently have available. My favorite is Dr Brain Good. I loved how they incorporated lacrosse sticks into that room. All of the rooms really bring you into the story. I really like how you actually have to use elements of the room in order to solve the puzzles. From finding buttons on the wall to weighing dinosaur eggs there's so much to do. In comparison to other rooms where you have a bunch of locks and keys. The whole building has a feel of a secret member society. The first time I went here I actually didn't know if I showed up at the right place. Upon pushing the call button in the office room I was let back to a second room and then into the bureau. We filled out our waivers ahead of time to make it a little easier when we got there. Upon arriving we sat down with our brief and weighted for someone to bring us back to the room. The employees are really helpful and I like how we used the tablet in order to get more clues. There were a couple things that I didn't really understand but that could be a user error. My kids are between the ages of 11 and 20 and they all say this is their favorite escape room. (we've been to quite a few other places that weren't as immersive) In my opinion it's definitely good to have four or more people to do their rooms. If you're in the area and looking to try something new I highly recommend checking the Bureau out. read more

A 3.5 for creative rooms with some shortcomings. My husband and I had been wanting to try the Bureau Escape Rooms for quite some time especially since "The Puppet Heist" is frequently mentioned by many in the escape room community (aka - people that like escape rooms), so we found a weeknight (since weekends require reservations for 4 or more people) that we were available and booked all three rooms. First of all, the Bureau was really hard to find. We went in circles a few times before noticing their small sign in the same plaza as an old, closed church organization. However, they do get points for creativity and keeping within the theme when you walk into the door or their "travel agency." We did the Dr Braingood room first. I won't give details but I thought it was average with some fun elements. The Puppet Heist was next. Yes - we will not argue that it's super creative - but some tasks were hard to figure out even after repeated clues (and my husband and I have done over 60 escape rooms at this point and have escaped all but 3 of them). When we were set to do the last room, we had to reschedule as it was having technical difficulties. When we returned at a later date to do Lab at Loch Ness, we encountered technical difficulties and weren't that enamored with this one. While we had some misses with the rooms, a of the staff we interacted with were phenomenal! They were friendly, energetic and really seemed to enjoy their job. read more

So yesterday was my first time doing an escape room... ever. A friend wanted to go for his birthday so I was a bit overwhelmed/ anxious as I didn't know what to expect. Upon arrival, we were welcomed into the waiting area; loved that they had alcoholic beverages for sale and that you could take them into the game! (Drinking a Guava Cart that was only $6 definitely made me more excited haha). Gotta admit this was the first escape room I've ever done, but I'm told that The Bureau is leagues above the rest. And honestly, you can tell pretty much immediately that this is true. The entire place is completely immersive, you really feel like you're agents working for a top secret agency. Each of the "rooms" have a corresponding story and goal you are trying to accomplish, rather than just being a room you're trying to escape from. And to that end all the puzzles you're completing tie into that story and goal. Of course the staff is available to provide hints if necessary, which we did use in the beginning until we got the ball rolling. But by the end we really felt like we saved the day, like a good secret agent would. Most importantly, we had a ton of fun doing it! As for covid precautions, everything felt extremely safe. Appointments are booked online in advance so when we went it was just us and the staff. Everything is cleaned and there is hand sanitizer available. The entrance is a little hard to find, tucked away on the side next to a sports store or something. But if you see a giant "B" on the door you've found it. Also, from what I know, there are two different "rooms" available with one more in the works. Definitely looking forward to coming back and tackling the other room! read more

If you love escape rooms, you need to check this spot out! I went with my husband and two friends we've done a bunch of escape rooms with and we absolutely loved it! This is less traditional escape room and more of an adventure game. You are trying to reach an objective but there aren't any puzzles to solve or locks. While it is a bit more straightforward it is still a tough, but doable, game that forces you to think a little outside the box. There was also no countdown clock in the room. At first I thought I would have been stressed out about not knowing how much time we had left, but I ultimately had more fun. I wasn't worried about the time and was really able to get into the story. Don't be turned off by the exterior, it honestly looks a little shady but as soon as you walk through the door you know you are in for a different experience. I don't want to give too much away but we were hooked with just two steps through the threshold of the door. The set design and production value are some of the best we've seen. There was also some technology we've never seen before in these types of games. Best news is that their games are private. I absolutely love when places do private rooms. Our visit came during COVID. They thoroughly cleaned the room before we went in. Everyone had to wear masks, even inside the room. There was also hand sanitizer available in the waiting room. read more

These were the coolest and most fun escape rooms! The game starts the moment you walk in, trying to get to their lobby! The 2 rooms we did were more like missions, rather than escape rooms. We had a group of 6 and did the robot rebellion room first, which we pre-booked online. This one was cool but our group was a little too big for this mission, which was our fault since it is described as being for groups of 2-4. It did involve some physical activity which was different than any other escape room I've done! We enjoyed it so much we booked the lab at loch ness room right after. This was by far the most unique and detailed escape room I've done! The level of thought was outstanding, and we mused that there had to be a former Disney Imagineer that came up with it. It was THAT good! Each room was I think 35 or 40 a person. Service was amazing and the people who worked there were so nice. You can tell that they had fun at work. The main area outside the rooms is decorated pretty nicely for being an escape room place. They had a separate area set up where a group was having a party. They had a bar! Nothing fancy, but some craft beers and I think wine. I had a Golden Cart Guava Cart and it was good! They also had some nice craft sodas and seltzers since our friend was pregnant. I think there was a selection of bagged snacks. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fun activity outside the Disney/Universal bubble! read more

The Bureau rocks! I definitely would consider myself an escape room enthusiast and this place did not disappoint! To the start of the experience to the end we had such a good time! When you arrive they really make you feel like you're apart of a "secret organization". The travel bureau bit? Genius. To all the escape rooms i've been to i've never felt so immersed into the vibe! The waiting area is so cool, we were offered drinks, and we got to enjoy the decor. Id go back again just for that. It was just two of us and we did UFO. The concept of this room is awesome, and if you've been to New Mexico the aesthetic is spot on! The storyline was super creative and I loved the bit of background info you get inside the room. The inclusion of the computer, the way to communicate was so well thought out and genuinely made us feel like we were using the storylines details! We finished the room with the help of our awesome game master, and the ending of this room truly shocked us! If I could give 10 stars to this place I would. Tried two escape rooms with them. Went with a friend to do the puppet heist and UFO room. My friend booked online, but was able to add myself and pay for myself when I arrived. The building was a bit hard to find at first as it looked like an office building next to a church. But looks can be deceiving. When entering the building, it looked like a travel agency showing old Delta airlines videos. There was another door with a phone. Using the phone gave a voice mailbox to say one in order to enter the next area. After doing that, we were able to enter the next room showing a quick video about The Bureau and what to expect. After a video, an automatic curtain opened, leading us to the main entrance. A host greeted us and checked us in. There is a large lobby with plenty of chairs to relax in. You can also buy alcoholic and soda drinks, which look reasonably priced. I found it a bit odd to hear elevator music in the background, but I guess it adds to their operative theming. We tried the puppet heist first. It was pretty creative where you have to use a puppet to help you perform a heist. The technology and theming was excellent, but some of the puzzles were a bit difficult. Thankfully, we were given a tablet that provided hints from the gamemaster when asked. Plus, when we were doing something correct, we were given positive feedback in moving forward. We were able to escape with about 10 minutes left. The UFO room was quite hard. We got stumped on what to do for a couple minutes, and had to ask for clues. The clues came from a computer, which was easy to use. We were able to solve some puzzles by accident as we were playing with the devices and computers with trial and error. We just escaped with 2.5 minutes left. Without giving any spoilers, I really enjoyed the theming, immersive, and technology of both rooms. As advertised, there are NO locks or keys in either room. Instead, it's a series of tasks that need to be done in order to move forward. There were locked rooms, but to unlock, there were either keypads or high tech equipment to use. The gamemasters and hosts were very friendly and helpful, and gave great clues and what to do next when we really got stuck. Some of the puzzles were a bit difficult, but the flow of the game was well and fit the storyline. I also liked how the UFO room referenced the other rooms they have. The prices are a bit higher than other escape rooms, but it is worth it due to the great theming. Rooms are booked and paid online, but additional people can be added and paid directly at the facility. I can't wait to try Loch Ness and Dr. Braingood rooms in the future. If I am not mistaken, the rooms were designed by a former Disney imagineer, and it definitely shows. The Bureau is indeed a must do in Orlando for escape rooms! read more
