    Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries

The food is good, borders on great. Ingredients all seem fresh and taste good. A slightly thicker patty, closer to medium, would make the burgers a definite go to over all nearby places. I suggest also adding variants other than cheese and bacon... youre a larger location so options like mushrooms, bleu cheese, or other condiments would definitely make me come back. Downside, whoever designed your place isnt helping you. All orange paint plus the recent movein dont help you look good... but im not here for your interior design choices, im here for the food. You guys just opened and the food is good. Looks like greatness is in the future. Also... The guy who left 1 star is a hater

Mediocre burger. Went in at lunchtime was the only one in the place. Should have told me something.

3 Stars - Decent BBQ, But Room for Improvement…read more Pat's Barbecue 155 W Commonwealth Ave. Salt Lake City, UT 84115 Visited: June 18, 2026, around 3:00 PM This was my first time trying Pat's Barbecue while visiting Salt Lake City. We arrived around 3:00 PM and, surprisingly, were literally the only customers in the restaurant. It's a fairly large establishment, so I'm hoping business picks up considerably during the lunch and dinner rushes. Overall, the meal was decent, but it didn't quite live up to expectations. Our order included two Pulled Pork Sandwiches ($12.99 each), a Classic Burger ($16.99) with Pepper Jack Cheese ($1.00) and Onion Rings ($2.49), plus baked beans, jambalaya, and drinks. The total came to $66.55 before tip. The highlight of the meal was definitely the baked beans. They were flavorful, well-seasoned, and probably the best thing on the table. The pulled pork sandwiches were just okay. The pork seemed a little dry and somewhat overcooked, and the buns could definitely be upgraded. A better-quality bun would have gone a long way toward improving the sandwich. The onion rings were disappointing. They tasted overdone and didn't seem particularly fresh. They lacked the crisp, light texture I was hoping for. As for the service, it was not up to par. With no other customers in the restaurant, I expected a little more attentiveness and hospitality. The service wasn't terrible, but it certainly wasn't memorable in a positive way. In the end, Pat's Barbecue delivered an acceptable meal, but there were enough issues with the food quality and service that I can only give it 3 stars. If I'm back in the area, I might give it another try and see how it compares during a busier time of day, but based on this visit, it was simply average.

Perfect for a cozy and enjoyable dining experience. Loved that they were open Sundays for service…read more. The decor is warm and the staff are very friendly and attentive. We splurged on the tri tip nachos and platter which offered giant onion rings , bone in chicken wings and fried pickles . The nachos had chili beans in it which had an amazing flavor and makes me curious to try their Chili. The ice tea is brewed daily , possibly hourly . The ribeye had a nice char and buttery taste- you definitely do not need A1 for it. Asparagus had a nice bite to them. I did try the sweet potato casserole and was not overly sweet or had marshmellows. Definitely would return again for a nice dinner amongst friends .

3 Stars -- Bandits' Grill & Bar Dined: August 12, 2026…read moreLocation: 3176 E. 6200 S., Cottonwood Heights, UT 84121 Price: $$ -- Entrées in our group ranged from about $20-$23.50 This was my first visit to Bandits' Grill & Bar. I was in the Salt Lake City area visiting four colleagues, and they highly recommended the restaurant, so I was looking forward to trying it. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich ($19.99) and added a Caesar salad ($4.99), with beans and coleslaw as my sides. Unfortunately, my meal was pretty underwhelming. The pulled pork wasn't very flavorful and didn't taste particularly fresh. The coleslaw was vinegar-based, which I personally didn't care for at all, and the beans were just mediocre. Overall, I was disappointed with my meal. That said, two of my colleagues ordered the prime rib sandwich ($23.49), which is similar to a French dip, and they both raved about it. They said it was excellent. Another person in our group had the tri-tip sandwich ($20.49), and the chicken plate was $21.99. Our total for five people came to $128.43 including tax, before tip. The service was average--nothing particularly bad, but nothing that stood out either. On the positive side, I really liked the interior and ambiance of the restaurant. It was attractive, comfortable, and very clean. I'm giving Bandits three stars based on my personal experience this time around, but I'm definitely willing to give it another chance. Based on how much my colleagues enjoyed the prime rib sandwich, I'll probably order that on my next visit and see if it's as good as they described. Sometimes the first thing you order just isn't the restaurant's best dish, so I'm not writing this place off yet.

They have something like 10 taps, lots of it is pretty nice craft beer. On Tuesdays, it's only $2! Apparently they have been offering this deal for decades! What's the catch? They are operating as a restaurant so in Utah, you are required to order food with your drinks. They do have some cheaper food options and the servers are very cool with you sharing food. I recommend getting a pizza to share! As far as the food is concerned, it's your pretty standard bar/pub food but a little bit more upscale. So, it's a good spot if you're looking for something that everyone will enjoy. Their pizzas are popular and very reasonably priced. Porcupine is also a great location for post mountain activities and right along multiple trail routes. I frequently find myself here after an intense outdoor activity, looking for air conditioning and good food. The nice thing about them operating as a restaurant is that it's kid friendly! They also have a really nice patio with a beautiful view! See you there on Tuesday!
