Yum! I remember going to Brezo back when they were located at Point Richmond, and I've heard about…read moretheir move to Solano Ave for quite some time. Most recently I finally was able to give them a try. So glad we did! We came around lunch time and sat at a booth. There were other worker bees grabbing a quick lunch. The service was quick, efficient and friendly, and we ordered the French onion soup to start, and split the fried chicken sandwich and Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The sandwiches come with a side, so one plate we did fries with a house-made aioli and the other plate, their quinoa kale salad. Delicious. Such hearty portions! The bread is so fresh, the meat juicy and ample, and flavors just right. We also ordered beer on tap, shoutout to Oakland United, and tried their house-made hot sauce that they also sell by the bottle. Would love to come back to try brunch here too. I also saw a patron ordering the quinoa kale salad with fried chicken, and yes, that's the vibe! Pricing is fair for the quality and quantity, and street parking available (although the restaurant is located at the bottom of Solano where it tends to be a bit more busy). Women-owned biz, and they also were on Check Please! Bay Area.

Unfortunately the food was just as bad and overpriced as the first time, I really don't understand how this place is so well reviewed. We both ordered 310 Burgers, one on the regular brioche bun and one on a lettuce wrap. The lettuce wrap came in two steamed, wilted pieces of iceberg, while the brioche bun was untoasted, foamy-textured and soggy. Both medium burgers had the consistency of boiled meatballs. The bacon jam was decent, but the overall experience was wildly unappetizing. We also both got plain fries, which were somehow greasy and dry at the same time, and instantly turned stale as they cooled down. We really hoped for this place because it's conveniently located, and all the other decent burger spots nearby have closed, but sadly we won't be giving 310 Eatery a third try.

From the very beginning, he stated that we couldn't sit upstairs due to it being full but kept sending others upstairs to sit. Then he told us that the upstairs area was meant for couples of 2 when there was clearly already people of threes and fours sitting upstairs. Lastly the waiters told us we could move seats to a bigger table and he came to take the table from us and stated that his staff didn't control where we were sat and he placed another group that he preferred there instead. I felt the manager Benny was very dismissive to his staff and very rude! Will not return soley based off this experience.

It keeps things moving and makes it easy to head out when you're done. Every time we've visited there's been a line, so that seems to be the norm. We stopped by around 1:45 p.m. this time and only had a short wait, which didn't bother us at all. My husband and I ordered the tres leches French toast and omelette, and both were excellent. The French toast had a beautifully golden exterior with thick challah bread. I usually prefer a more custardy center, but I didn't mind that it was a bit drier because the berries, compote, and glaze brought everything together and balanced the dish nicely. The omelette was a standout. The eggs were cooked beautifully and filled with well-seasoned peppers, onions, mushrooms, and creamy goat cheese. The house potatoes were crispy, flavorful, and seasoned just right without being overly salty. Some bites had a little more bite to them while others were soft and tender, which made them even more enjoyable. 10/10 would absolutely come back.

Two chicken quarters on a bed of basmati rice, a side salad and condiment cups of a green hot sauce and a white garlic sauce. They also gave me a cup of complementary tea which was slightly sweet and smelled of warm spices like cinnamon and clove. The chicken was delicious, the rice brightly colored yellow and fragrant. I liked how the salad balanced against the richness of the spices in the chicken and rice. Their sauces pair nicely with the food as well, making each bite even more full of flavor. Don't let the simple exterior fool you. There is magic and smells that waft behind that takeaway window. Looking forward to ordering their grilled chicken when I have a bit more time.

Without even looking at it he refused to honor it and immediately cited "change of ownership." I'm not 100% sure that's legal in California, maybe under certain strict circumstances? But it sure isn't good faith for a previously enjoyable establishment nor does it make long-time customers likely to come back. The waiter quickly recited all the things they were out of and when I needed a repeat (because it was a lot), he seemed a bit impatient and put out. (The place was empty except for one other table.) We ordered fish & chips, and it was... okay? It looked like someone had simply thrown the food at the plate and that's how it was presented. There was a white sauce that I'm pretty sure was just plain mayo. A bottle of malt vinegar was provided on request but after all this, I was afraid to ask for ketchup, or really anything else. It's unfortunate because it was nice to have a place to go within walking distance and near to the theater, but after this experience I can't see myself going back for anything ever again.
