6pc mini corn dogs
Kris B.

My Dad was craving corn dogs and a mustard dog so I was happy to oblige. I missed the PA system to order and drove right to the window like a bonehead. The cashier was really nice about it and took my order at the window. I asked if they had brown mustard (Dad requested) and they do not. I ordered 3 corndogs and 1 mustard dog for him. Unfortunately she only heard the 3 corndogs and "mustard" which is what I received. I asked about the mustard dog, big misunderstanding, and she ended up giving me a mustard dog which was so nice! I went back a couple days later to get myself some mini corndogs which were really delicious! Unfortunately the Polish Sandwich was on soggy rye bread - would have been much better if the bread was toasted. This used to be my Mom's favorite sandwich growing up and I was feeling nostalgic. But next time I'll just stick to the mini corndogs!

The Chicago Dogs I had at Wrigleysville Dogs in Chicago (review: https://yelp.to/2I071b59BZ) made such a huge impression on me that I thought I'd return to Wienerschnitzel after a thirty-year moratorium to try their $4.79 Chicago Dog and upgrade it to All-Beef (photo: https://yelp.to/dIG3CEO9Lf). It was simply decent because authenticity isn't the goal here. Turnover is. Of course I needed the small $2.49 Fries to ease my marginal disappointment (photo: https://yelp.to/hv7dXXFQ6t). FOOD - 3 stars...well, they call it a Chicago dog AMBIANCE - 2 stars...I was just at the order window SERVICE - 3 stars...they did their job (I think) TOTAL - 3 stars...go to Chicago for a Chicago dog RELATED - Exploring El Cerrito? Pizza Dog

This currently isn't on the menu but it's a 7-11 pizza with a Pork sausage smothered in Dennisons Chili with Beans. It should be on the menu because last time I got a boring beef dog and ketchup was an extra 0.50 cents. I should be a boss there so I can put new menu items. The chick with brown hair is hot.

Chili cheese fries

I love this place but something's wrong and i need yall to get it together:((( The lemonade is so bad please clean the dispensers. I always order the Chili Cheese Dog, Burger and Fries with a side of normal fries. They forgot my normal fries and there is no chili in my chili fries:(((( This is the munchie spot and this stop made me so sad tdy

I was thinking back about the old days when I was a teenager. Having the munchies and craving a Wienerschnitzel Dog. And how much I loved them. So I thought I'd swing into this one and give it a try and see if it lived up to my memory. The place was pretty empty. It was pretty run down, and it didn't look too clean in the parking lot around it. It was very uninviting. We used the drive-through. My wife had a regular dog, and I had the Chicago style dog with a side of chilly bacon cheese fries. The Chicago style was not even close. It was good, but I would say it was average. On the other hand, chili bacon cheese fries were really good. There were some other cars waiting behind us to make their orders and the girls that we're working inside were working pretty hard so I will give that to. Them but I didn't get any sense of cheerfulness are enjoying the work. Or hi how you doing today none of that. They get 1 star for the chili fries.

Squished, condiment free, dry-a*s hot dog - and this was one of the better ones!

No..... Just no. Been a while since we had Wienerschnitzel as those in our area are gone now, but husband was in that area and so picked up an order on the way home - we were really looking forward to it! Long story short - we feel really ripped off. 6 hotdogs, 3 with mustard, 3 with mayonnaise... except they said they don't have any mayo... Oh well, I can put that on at home right? 2 large orders of fries and the total came to $24.39, a little pricey for hot dogs, but everything's gone up, right? Well, he gets home with the food and we begin to unpack - first thing we notice is the fries... very, very pale and blonde, limp and oily - for $4.19 you expect better - but I can always pop them in the air fryer for a few minutes, right? Then come the dogs... Pictures speak louder than words - see for yourself! It's like someone purposely gave each of them a couple squeezes to mess them up... all six were in this shape. No fresh hot dog on a fluffy steamed roll, only old tasting skinny hot dogs with room temp buns that had been compressed to the point of a gummy, Play-Doh sort of texture. But hey! We can just slap on some condiments and run them through the micro for a minute or two, right? WRONG!! Nearly 25 bucks, not one item served was good - NOT ONE - and that's where I hit my limit. At that price point, to be served trash like this (and that's where most of it ended up, in the trash) is adding insult to injury, and finally pushed me to the breaking point. We will certainly never purchase from here again! 2 stars for the nice gal at the counter who was friendly, negative 5 stars for food quality and cost - avoid this joint, get yourself some Ballpark franks and cook your own... you'll be glad you did.

Chili Cheese Burger

I never eat here but I wanted try it out. The burger is very lightweight overall. The bread is fluffy and kinda oversized for the small patty. The chili in the burger was very limited. It was hot and fresh but not impressive. Nothing special going on here.

Mon-Sat 10AM-11PM Sunday 10AM-10PM The times on google are incorrect but the correct times are posted on the store front. I've been coming here for years & the night crew is the best. I always go for the Polish Chili Cheese Dogs & Bacon Chili Cheese Fries, you're welcome!

I joined the Wienerschnitzel's Wiener Lovers' Club and was excited that I got a free Chili Dog as a welcome surprise. I ordered the chili dog and was charged 3.29 and when I scanned the offer it only discounted 1.99. Seems like false advertising to me. I doubt that this location is culpable, but still. Normally, I'm of the mind that a discount is a discount but given that I came here for a free dog I was highly disappointed. Nevertheless, the dog was flavorful. I have nothing bad to say about their corn dogs (truthfully I come here when I get a craving for one). I come here infrequently enough to be continuously surprised at the rather large size of their medium drinks. Not bad, not good. It's a hot dog. Parking is plentiful but the service at the drive through can be kind of slow.

The building looks original with the A frame style architecture.

With a…read morefew new spots in the Richmond area, we decided to take a trip through Richmond to see what's new and changing. Corky's remains just as delicious in my opinion as Caspers. Super old-school, nostalgic dog house still featuring all the Caspers' classics. We ordered the cheese dog because I feel like that's a must. The cheese comes grated and cold, and is just the most perfect topping. The Corky's "with everything" basically means tomatoes and onions (you can get the onions sliced or diced), mustard and relish. I did the ketchup instead of the freshly-sliced tomatoes. We also tried the house-made chili topped with cheese (comes with white crackers). So comforting, and surprised I've never had this before today. The combo meals come with a drink and bag of chips ~ other dog options include hot link, chicken, all beef, and polish. I even saw a Pickle Dog on the menu :) There is a parking lot adjacent. Staff is so sweet and even came around the counter to give the kiddo a magic trick and hot dog candy. We heard there may be fun merch on the way and also a few new menu items coming soon too. Worthy of a stop-inside if hot diggity dogs are your kryptonite.

Really wanted to support the new owner & the old staff - same great food as always too. But......to hear & watch & hear the new owner behind the counter micro-managing & lecturing his hard working staff killed the old vibe. It really ain't all that complicated - they seemed to be managing just fine all those years before him. It was going on when we walked in the door & continued nonstop through our meal until the door shut behind us. I really like to support local businesses, but I'll never sit through that again.

The inside is nice with 2 TVs playing Korean pop and other videos but there are only 3 tables. The food court has many large group tables outside. It's worth noting they are closed on Sundays, they also close random times so just check their schedule before venturing out there especially if you are driving far. I believe it's family run, so they take a week or two off during the holidays or for family vacations.

The check was not itemized when it first came, and he had to ask specifically for an itemized receipt to explain the up charge. It's disappointing! The communication could definitely be better.
