So yeah this and the Kona Inn were for special occasions in our family. With the parking downtown such a problem Magics has an advantage with free and ample parking across the street. If you're looking for a memorable place to enjoy a sunset with the sound of the ocean then make a reservation for a half hour before sunset and enjoy yourself. When we travel we seek out places that will be remembered for the experience and hopefully the food will be part of that experience as well. Especially when we thought we saw portobello fries online as an option from perhaps a different Kona Brewery restaurant menu. Food was perfectly cooked and even dessert was spectacular. This appears to be a fancier restaurant from the inside, but doesn't give that vibe from the outside. Shout out to Jonah who gave amazing recommendations.
