Not open 24 hours. They are requiring 85 characters, but all I came to say is that they were definitely not open 24 hours.

We liked this place so much, we ate here twice in less than a week!…read more We are always on the hunt for epic veggie burgers. I mean, we have literally had a veggie burger all over the country and Caribbean. You can say it's our thing...except we really didn't plan for it to become our sole mission in life. Alas, here we are, and veggie burgers are tasty, so there are worse missions to have. In any case, Google steared us to this restaurant, and we were happy with the suggestion! The restaurant is very small inside; there are probably 8 tables inside. Just something to keep in mind right at the beginning. You order at the counter, then take a seat should you want to dine-in, and they bring your food to you. My husband and I both did a veggie burger with fries. Service was very quick, which is great when you're so hungry you threaten to eat a chair whilst chewing on your hat. I mean, we've all been there, I'm sure! The fries come with a garlic aioli, and it was very good! The fries themselves were equally good and served nice and hot. The burgers were really good! They weren't super tiny, and the bread choice was a great one. The flavor of the patty was fantastic and didn't taste generic, but it also wasn't full of massive chunks of vegetables like some places do. My husband is super picky at times, and he enjoyed everything...even the garlic aioli, which was super surprising! They have a pretty decent menu for regular burgers too!

As usual, a fantastic burger! Cooked to order (med-rare), nice thick, tender, and juicy patties…read more You can only have two patties on the bun because it's too big to fit in your mouth. Had to eat the third by itself. Can't say it enough. Best burger, best value in town!

The short rib was soooo tender, the shrimp was plump, and the chicken had the perfect fry on it. We loved the sauces that came with it, as well. Their cuisine appears to be a fusion of Hawaiian, Filipino and Korean cuisines. You will want to note their business hours. At the time of this review, they are closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays. Their lunch hours on other days are 11am-2:30pm and dinner hours are 4pm-7:30pm. It's a popular restaurant, so there is limited seating indoors. According to their website, this is the "Home of Da Garlic Furikake Chicken" so you'll want to try that dish. I ordered the Braised Beef Shortribs off their Specials menu and went with the Twisty Fries as my choice of side. The Shortribs were unbelievably tender but just a tad bit sweet for my liking, and the Twisty Fries were absolutely phenomenal. If we're ever able to visit the Big Island again, Broke Da Mouth will be one of the first spots we come back to!

Band starts to play at 7:00. we didn't stay for the band this time but have heard them from the street and will plan to go and enjoy the band our next visit to the restaurant. The food was GREAT and plentiful. I had the smash burger which was huge and came with some of the best fries I have ever had. my husband had the caesar salad which was also huge and came with bacon. The view was terrific, the service attentive and helpful. it's a family run business. I can't wait to go back!

There is seating in the back behind the stage but people were more interested in the live music. The band sounded phenomenal. During break, they went to greet customers. It seems they are friends with the owners here which was lovely to see. People came and go but it was always the back area that was packed rather than the front, which is closer to the stage. For food, we just ordered sweet potato fries for us to munch on since we were bar hopping that day. Taste was okay. For drinks, I enjoyed the Vietnamese Coffee while my husband the Old Fashioned. Both were good. Overall, we recommend for some great dinner with entertainment!

They have pretty much everything you're looking for right here in terms of island staples. And the pricepoint for their huge menu is more than reasonable. And yes, they serve the LEGENDARY Yoshino's Hamburger steak here. Luckily, they didn't run out when I arrived. As stated, there is so much going on with the menu that you will be sitting there thinking about what's good. They even have off-the-menu daily specials. Everything sounds good! So yeah, had to try the Yoshino plate that comes with two patties, rice, and mushroom gravy. Huge portion that filled me up quick. The patty is tender and just reminds me of a handcrafted burger from home, not some processed crap. You can tell that they use an old-school, bread-crumb based recipe. Comfort food at its finest. The dish came with a side of Mac salad. Their's is elite as well. They make it with tuna, and it works! It's like a meal in itself. Like I said, so many food options to choose from. There's no reason to miss out on this culinary gem if you're a fan of local food. Run, don't walk.

Kona Brewing Company was one of our favorite casual spots during our stay. Great service, great food, and a beautiful, relaxed setting that makes it an easy place to settle in and enjoy yourself. I had the Brewben both times and loved it. It was incredibly flavorful, generously portioned, and clearly good enough that I didn't feel the need to try something different on our second visit! One of my favorite beers of all time is their Hanalei IPA. It somehow manages to be light and refreshing while still having the flavor and complexity you expect from an IPA. I can never seem to find it on the mainland, so I was especially happy to enjoy it here and introduce a few of my friends to it. We also had the opportunity to try their seltzer with shave ice flavors, which was such a fun local touch. They absolutely nailed the shave ice flavor! Between the food, drinks, atmosphere, and consistently great service, this became an easy repeat for our group. Definitely worth a visit while you're in Kona!

First, we went on a Monday evening around 6:30 PM, and there was plenty of seating. The hostess seated us right away. Our server was amazing (I wish I could remember his name), but he was definitely friendly, efficient, and had a good personality. We ordered the Edamame, which had sesame oil and a little chili flakes. It had a slight kick, but it wasn't hot or spicy. Amazing! We then ordered the Captain Pizza, which had house-made tomato sauce, MOzzarella, Pepperoni, Tomato, Black Olives, Mushrooms, and Portuguese Sausage (Large /14" for $36. It was absolutely great! We ordered light sauce, and it came out perfect. The crust was cooked perfectly. Crusty on the outside, soft and hot on the inside. The toppings were perfectly seasoned, and the large size was more than enough for the two of us (we took half home). I also ordered the Liliko'i Kea Beer, which was a tropical passion fruit, coriander, and grains of paradise beer. Perfect! Another great experience. 100% recommend!
