Stop by before Chaney stadium R-game.

I stopped here before going to the Cheney stadium game. I was expecting happy hours, but there weren't any. The store is large and on the right side there is an interesting drink in the refrigerator. You can choose what you like, or you can order draft beer at the counter. I liked the free and casual atmosphere. Store staff are friendly and quick service. No food to order here but food can be brought in. I wished to know that when I was there. Btw, My hubby was telling me to go to restroom. So I went to...love that toilet for men, loll We'll be back !

Great beer selection to go and fortunately decent beer on tap. While we were in Washington we wanted to sample as many local brews as possible. There's plenty of seating, too. The hardest part is finding Pint Defiance since it's tucked into a strip shopping center.

A fruity after taste. Good for an IPA

This place is all about beer, so don't expect a big restaurant with food service. It's not a place for children, so leave under 21 family members home. They have a wide selection of beers from domestic to international that are able to distribute in the State of Washington. They will continually make some changes to what they carry, so you can ask what's new and the staff will tell you. The owner is always interested in hearing your opinions about the beers they carry or one's you'd like to see brought in. Keep in mind about what can be distributed in the state and what cannot but also give a good description of the beer you'd like to see Barry bring in such as hoppy, chocolaty, nutty, ale, stout, porter..just be able to give a good description of the type of beer and where it originates. That's helpful information. The owner Barry is there often, so you can meet him, have good beer conversation and learn about the future planned events for his shop. Plenty of seating and conversational space for you and your friends, but don't be afraid to go solo. I did and sat on at the bar on a stool. Met a nice couple who sat alongside me and we shared dialogue about the beers we chose. Prices are reasonable by the glass or bottle on sitting in store or you can do the Growler for take out and get an even better deal from the draft beer selection. They offer two sizes that are equivalent to either a 2 or 4 pints. You are allowed to bring in your own food, but you also must clean up after yourself and take your trash with you. They don't provide utencils or napkins. That's all up to you. There is no outdoor seating area and parking might become an issue during events, but the location is within walking distance to many other parking areas so don't let that deter you from checking this place out. I also would like to thank Barry for having events and an the introduction to the Naked City Brew guys. Even though I didn't win anything in the raffle, it was fun!

Mine and my boyfriends first time while waiting for our thai food. He's not a beer drinker.... but I sure am. It was a cool atmosphere and will be coming back soon. It's a chill spot to grab a glass.... or a few!

Great selection of rotating taps; lots of local brews to choose from. Plus they have an excellent selection from their cases both local and international.

A few of the dozens of Gluten free selections!

As the sun was setting, staff told us they were hosting music bingo that night and offered for us to partake. I wish we could've stayed and played but we had to call it a night. Maybe next time!

The food from next door is in the photos. My friend ordered us a charcuterie board which we devoured! Too fast for photos. Crackers, three cheeses, candied walnuts, dried cherries, hot honey, and a small amount of cherry jam. Super delicious!!! A few slices of deli meat too. A bit on the pricey side though, $28, bit served fully loaded. The Mexican lager super easy to drink. I also had a sour. Definitely not over powered though. And of course I had to purchase a beanie. I have problems with a beanie obsession. Great views and worth a visit.! SY

One day I received a notification that one of my fellow Yelpers had checked into this place, and I…read moredecided to look it up to see what they had to offer. I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five. Service is amazing, and the drinks are worth the trip. They have an array of options, which is what I love about this place. Until next time!
