This particular time I have to give the bartenders/ waitress's/cook a big shout out for their patience, and hard work. A group came in and said they had a 6 top coming that turned into at least 14. They were not very friendly and very impatient. Through it all the staff kept their cool and were professional. I look forward to coming back and enjoying this lovely little gem.

This place is spectacular. The new owners have worked miracles in this small home town bar. We were hesitant in the beginning to give it a shot, due to the conditions it was operating under with the previous owners. The building looks incredible, prices are very reasonable, the food (including fish) is outstanding, the staff is always pleasant and you can tell they really are enjoying their jobs. Each time we have been there a member of the owning family has greeted us, thanked us for coming, and asked how everything was and how they could make it better. You do not get that everywhere you go! You truly feel like a part of the family and the community. My family has been in during the week for lunch, and also on a Saturday Night for a live band. The place was packed with people on the Saturday we went, and we were still instantly greeted by the bartender and the bouncer as soon as we stepped foot in the door. We were not standing (because all the tables were full) for 45 seconds before a lovely waitress approached us and asked if she could get us something to drink. We have completely renovated every aspect of the building, kitchen, bar, music, etc. We have been very busy since we opened as "The Bus Stop Bar & Grille" on November 21st of 2015. There are multiple posts out there about the "Old" Bus Stop Inn that are very poor! I started off with a Cinnamon Toast Crunch from their drink menu but it was underwhelming. The menu is quite small with limited options so I ended up ordering a Pretzel charcuterie board and my husband had their sausage duo. The presentation was simple and could even be described as economical on their part. The food itself was fine for the most part. There were a few things didn't care for the flavor of like the little sausages, but fortunately for me my little pup was happy to take them off my hands. I really liked the jam served on the side of my meal and the mustard was too die for! (I actually ended up buying some to take home it was so good) My husband said his meal was fine. There were some bees or wasps that were bothering people and they did become quite annoying, especially towards the end of our meal. I kept shooing them gently, but they were persistent and when they started to bother the lady next to us, she became incredibly frightened. If you have a fear of bees or wasps, I definitely would not recommend dining here. All that being said, it was about $60 after tip for our meal and while it was perfectly adequate given the options available to us at the moment, I don't think it's anywhere that I would go out of my way to revisit.
