So good! Has that old small town feel and taste! They bring you little sampler jams that they make themselves! We had blueberry, strawberry and blackberry- all amazing!! they were super busy with a consistent flow of customers but we still got seated and served fairly quick for how busy they were. There's inside and patio seating, we sat inside. Stays true to their name "busy"

Special: Spanish omelette with onions ground beef and avocado

Exceptional place to stop in for a hearty breakfast. Small indoor dining but plenty of outside seating. Only one waitress and she was efficient as she was nice and accommodating. Special Spanish omelette with onions, ground beef, cheese and avocado was delicious and plenty enough that I had a small package for my midnight snack. Hash browns cooked to perfection.

my recent experience at busy bee diner on a busy Saturday morning. Although all the tables were taken when we arrived, we were seated within 20 minutes, which was impressive. Our waitress, Andrea, made our visit truly enjoyable. She was friendly and attentive, really enhancing our overall experience. The food was delicious, and we can't wait to come back again.

I ordered a ribeye and eggs with sourdough toast, instead I was served a NY instead with 1 slice of bread...not sourdough. Cook came out to correct me that the steak was indeed a ribeye. now, I have worked in a meat dept. for several years at my last employment, I was also a manager for a steakhouse...I definitely know the difference. I had the server remove the steak and she adjusted the bill. (if only I could post a picture of the receipt) the bill: $5 (2 eggs), hash browns $5.50, toast $3.50 (1 slice). So I was charged for side orders. okay, but $3.50 for 1 slice of bread and not even what I had ordered. Pathetic. Now, if it was one issue, no biggie, not a deal breaker, but there was multiple issues, especially when the cook (hahaha) came to my table to tell me I was wrong. I am a firm believer that the customer is not always right, but this time, I was. I really do hope the owner reads and replies to this post, because no manager/supervisor came to my table to address the issues.

We sat at the bar to escape it, and somehow, of course, they ended up right behind us again. At that point, even the staff were giving each other that look like, "yeah ... we smell it too." Our server stepped in like a hero and quietly moved us to a corner booth, no fuss, no awkwardness, just excellent problem-solving so we could actually enjoy our meal. And that right there is part of why I've always loved this place. The service and food are consistently great, and they handle things with a kind of care you don't see everywhere. Service We went on a weekend morning so there was a bit of a wait (~15-20 mins). After we were seated, the service was amazing and quick. Ambiance The ambiance is definitely a unique one and one that I don't see very often. It does have its own charm. It is a smaller establishment with lots of tables, so one may find it a bit cramped on the inside. Other Notes With this restaurant, you do get a bill that you have to pay at the front (like Denny's) and their restroom is a bit weirdly located. You'll have to go behind the counter and into a bit of the kitchen to get to it.

Always seems a tad darker than necessary, rather dated and overdue for a renovation. The Richland locations have a warmer vibe. The music playing didn't earn any kudos for a couple reasons. First, it was just at the edge of loud enough to be distracting. Second, the playlist seemed more appropriate for a much younger audience than the overwhelming majority of the clientele in the house at the time. Ambience, all in? - 3 stars. The food? She had the one-trip salad bar and said it was pretty good but nothing especially noteworthy. She said - 4 stars. Mine, meh, predictable, ok, but unremarkable bordering on forgettable. Some things were a tad salt heavy, others were seemingly unseasoned altogether. Mine - 3 stars. I opted for a baked potato. It came out seemingly over-baked because the flesh had to be carved away from the inside of the skin. It wasn't that carb-lovers baked spud, which was disappointing. When I told the manager of the great service we had received, he said he was glad to hear that. Then, I mentioned the potato and how it had come out, but instead of any acceptance, he got defensive about how "that's the way we make them here" or something to that effect, and basically dismissed my comment. Attitude? Yeah, not so much. - 2.5 stars. All in, we both felt like we should have driven the extra 15 minutes and gone to either Richland location. My bad. That's on me. - ZERO stars for my poor decision. Lesson learned. - All in - a 3 star average.

And somehow, even after a 4-hour drive, it still tastes just as amazing! It's one of the best options if you're trying to stay lower carb (okay... lower-ish carbs), no sugar, and especially if you deal with hypoglycemia. This dish just gets it. Now about the building--if you've been around for a while, you probably remember when it was Heidi Haus on Court Street. I went in there many times, and it was such a sweet, charming place. Honestly, it feels like the perfect spot for Magill's now. The character of the building really adds to the whole experience. The only thing I'd love to see improved is the service. The ladies who work there clearly have a lot of experience, but sometimes the interaction can feel a bit routine or lacking warmth. A little more friendliness and engagement would really take the experience to the next level and match how great the food is. And I mean... my poor mom ordered an orange juice and it showed up not even cold. That's one of those small details that really shouldn't be missed. Thank you, Magill's, for always hitting the mark with the food!
