I have been to the Bistro a few times in the past and I have always enjoyed the meals, atmosphere, and especially the service. Except for today. I came in this morning for breakfast. I ordered a ribeye and eggs with sourdough toast, instead I was served a NY instead with 1 slice of bread...not sourdough. Cook came out to correct me that the steak was indeed a ribeye. now, I have worked in a meat dept. for several years at my last employment, I was also a manager for a steakhouse...I definitely know the difference. I had the server remove the steak and she adjusted the bill. (if only I could post a picture of the receipt) the bill: $5 (2 eggs), hash browns $5.50, toast $3.50 (1 slice). So I was charged for side orders. okay, but $3.50 for 1 slice of bread and not even what I had ordered. Pathetic. Now, if it was one issue, no biggie, not a deal breaker, but there was multiple issues, especially when the cook (hahaha) came to my table to tell me I was wrong. I am a firm believer that the customer is not always right, but this time, I was. I really do hope the owner reads and replies to this post, because no manager/supervisor came to my table to address the issues. read more

What a find this place was. We were on a road trip and wanted lunch at 10 am. We stopped here and were pleasantly surprised. Amazing food, fantastic service and super fast. Nice little locals hangout with a solid menu. Service is efficient and friendly. Inside is pretty lively at lunchtime and can be a little *too* loud if you're trying to have any sort of conversation. There are a few outdoor tables that get snagged pretty quickly. read more

Not a lot or breakfast options in Kennewick and I have noticed they are pretty empty when I go! Came by for breakfast with low expectations and I was pleasantly surprised! Walked in to a warm and friendly greeting and was told I could sit anywhere. Gave the Chorizo Benedict a try and it was delicious! Homemade biscuit was perfect, thin slice of chorizo sausage, and perfectly poached egg. They even had good hollandaise sauce! I will be back next time I am in the area! read more

First time at this bistro, went during lunch time, overall decent experience, place was clean and cozy, service was pretty outstanding with a very friendly waiter, delicious orange juice. I and my grandchildren walked in and were told to see ourselves so we did we waited and waited and finally I asked another lady if we could have a highchair she got us a highchair and then we waited and then we waited and then we waited and I set a timer for two minutes after all of the previous waiting. I never got a freaking menu never even got it looked at and said oh I'll be with you in just a moment. I got zero the only time I got a reaction out of the waitress was when I decided to pack up and leave today is April 28 at 11:45 am. The only waitress that helped at all was the redheaded lady. Right when you walk in you're thrown into the most homely and customer service restaurant I've probably ever been to. You seat yourself and I love there are so many booths. Grabbed a booth and I noticed all the people already in the restaurant and people coming in probably had a median age of around 70. This tells me they've been around a long time and have great food and customer service. They definitely had booth. Only thing missing from it being five star is that I got the benedict and neither yolks were runny at all. But, I'm sure I'll be back and if that changes. Then 5 star we will go. read more

Stopped in for a 'late' breakfast on a Monday. Although not 'packed' there was a respectable numbers of diners and more came in during our meal. The waitress told us to sit where we'd like, brought menus right away and took a drink order for coffee/tea/juices before leaving us to peruse the menu. She recognized some in our party as having dined there before and they chatted a bit. They have a nice size breakfast menu and each in our group selected something different. They also offer a la carte items if you want something small like just one pancake, a cinnamon roll, or only biscuits and gravy w/o the egg for example. The lemon ricotta pancakes were recommended to me by one in our party, so I figured, why not. They come with eggs, and a side of meat. As I have a food sensitivity to pork, the others at the table chose from bacon or sausage or ham and she brought it on a separate plate for my table mates to share. A nice solution that was definitely welcomed by the bacon eaters. The pancakes are quite good, light, moist with a delicate taste. They come with a side of syrup, which I did not try, but was told it's flavored and quite good. Everyone's eggs are cooked to order and done very well. No over cooking, and none of the dark edges you sometimes get from using a too hot grill. The waitress was very friendly, she kept a close eye on us, answered questions about menu items and made some small talk throughout our visit. Prices are about what you'd expect in WA state, which we found to be higher than our local spots, but normal for them. The restaurant was very clean. Restrooms are in the back corner. Private parking lot. I would return without hesitation if I find myself in the area again. read more

Overall, it was a decent breakfast place. Came with a group of 8. Would highly recommend the crab Benedict. All the other meals were so/so, just your basic breakfast. My wife and I were there today for lunch. Nice enough place, it was fairly busy. Our waitress seemed to be a little over loaded, but she was really nice. Now for the food. My wife ordered the club sandwich with no side, $18 !!! She said it was nothing special. For $18 bucks you would think that it would be way above average. It was not! I had the Reubens sandwich. It was good, but not $16 good. We were very disappointed in the outrageous pricing that was evident across the board on the menu. Won't be back. read more

Nice breakfast before heading out of town after a few days in our hometowns. Found the Village Bistro on Yelp, I'm glad I did because it's kind of hidden within an inside corner of a strip mall. It was on a Friday, in mid-March We were lucky to arrive just before the lunch rush. the V Bistro is certainly a popular local place so it's not a place where you can go for a private conversation. Went on a Thursday late morning for breakfast l. Chose the place based on prior customer reviews and it did not disappoint. It was nice they gave the option to order a smaller portion of food and it was plenty for me. I asked for crunchy bacon and that's exactly what I got. My boyfriend orders the biscuits a and gravy and unlike Other places they put ample gravy on the biscuit. This place was great! My colleague and I had to make a quick trip to Pasco, and when we got off the plane, we were starving. We pulled up Yelp and found this bistro. It's tucked in the corner of a small shopping center. We walked in and were immediately greeted by the folks in the restaurant. The tables were set up nicely with plenty of room. The menu selection was great, with almost too many choices, lol. Well, my coworker ended up with a BLT and beer-battered fries, and I ordered a crab melt with sweet potato fries. The food came hot and fresh, and the serving size was good. The food was delicious, with lots of bacon and fresh, crisp lettuce. The crab meat was great, with lots of crab, and a nice thick slice of cheese melted over each side of the open-faced sandwich. The beer-battered fries were good. The one item that was in the okay range was the sweet potato fries. They were the Sisco crinkle cut and just okay. I would say, cut and fry your own sweet potato fries, and your score would've been a perfect 5. My recommendation is to try the restaurant."
