Probably the best burgers in the area. Classic small local place. Please note that the hours posted online are incorrect.

Went on a joy ride drive through the back roads of Central florida northwest of Winter Garden, very happy to lots of nature and cows grazing. Needing to stop for lunch we came upon The butcher Block Kitchen right before it closed at 3pm. There is a lunch time and a dinner time. We ordered the onion ring appetizer, turkey club and French onion soup. The star of the meal was the onion rings, best I've ever eaten so very yummy and crunchy, I was told it was their own batter so if they make anything else with that batter I would get it cause it will taste delicious. The French onion soup was just ok and the club sandwich was nothing spectacular, just a regular club on white bread, they could have spruced it up with real turkey or a better bread and made it shine! I definitely would stop there for those onion rings and maybe their fried fish has the house natter than that would be very good too.

One of my colleagues frequents this establishment and orders breakfast all day. In fact, I was the only one of the 4 of us to order lunch and it was 2pm. I ordered a Reuben sandwich and added a side of pancake battered onion rings. The Rueben on the rye and thousand island dressing was tasty and was a good portion. My colleagues ordered omelettes that also looked tasty if it was 9am. We weren't in a hurry but I had a flight in the late afternoon out of Tampa so we ate and headed out. Good laid back place for a good meal.

Want can I not say about this little Groveland gem? Besides absolutely amazing! Lynn, our waitress was very prompt and so friendly. Such a small hometown feel with everyone there, it was great! Hubby had the Shrimp & grits, " absolutely mouthwatering". I had 2 eggs with bacon, hash browns and biscuits, cooked perfectly! Can't wait until we come back, maybe for lunch next time!

Just had lunch and it was amazing. Terrific server made us feel welcome. We're Houstonians and this little place is that quality of food. The fried green tomatoes appetizer was as good or better than Brennan's (less the crab meat). We ordered shrimp po-boy and flounder sandwich. Both excellent but shrimp po-boy was winner out of the two. Delicious remoulade sauce. Onion rings crispy and delicious. Will definitely return!

Decent place Friendly staff Many choices including breakfast all day. Had the Rios Burger (this was not a cook to order place) Sweet Tea (although not listed on the menu) was very good GF had the Portobello (we agreed there was to much feta and the mushroom was somewhat bland) We won't rule out coming back but the food wasn't grabbing us to return.

We went here for breakfast on our way back out of town. The food and mimosas were delicious! We sat outside on the patio area. We recommend and we will go back.

Excellent service... Tasty breakfast, including fried green tomatoes, quesadilla, and a scrumptious bacon egg and cheese biscuit. We sat indoors, but they also have outdoor seating. Exactly the hometown breakfast place we were looking for after attending an athletic event in Clermont and starting our drive home to Tampa.

We were seated right away. Our server was very friendly and almost immediately after we were seated, we were greeted by her taking our beverage orders. I opted for the lobster grilled cheese with the kettle chips. The sandwiches were really big, but it was very delicious. The lobster is slightly chilled and they add Swiss and cheddar cheese to it. It was very tasty. The chips were good. I definitely could've done with less chips as it felt like they were overtaking the plate. My husband got the Texas wings. Which had the Texas dry rub with a honey glaze over them. Kind of gave you a spicy and sweet take. He said they were very tasty. Well seasoned and well cooked. He also got fries as his side and there is a dollar up charge for regular fries.

Restaurant was not overly busy and had plenty of staff to accommodate the small amount of guests. Waited almost an hour for our food with no apology from management. When our burgers were delivered our server claimed the kitchen made our burgers incorrectly- she either forgot to put it in or it had been sitting for quite sometime. Top burger bun was luke warm. Fries (that were an additional cost) were burnt. For the $17 price one would expect more than a thin slice of bacon for a burger with bacon in the name. "Enjoyed" the meal without anything to drink as I was never offered a refill of water.

At the absolute very least, you need to eat here once just to appreciate the historic charm and eclectic interior design. In other words, it's really cool inside. That said, we'll definitely be going back (especially because of the affordable pricing). Food was great, too. Had burgers, the gator appetizer, and the fried green tomatoes/pickles appetized. Gator was probably my favorite, but the burgers were great too. Nice thick piece of meat, cooked to the right temp, and delicious. Definitely give this place a go!

Seriously, don't advertise if you're not prepared. 3-3 tops walked out at the same time. 30 minutes and still no service. This may be the last time. Very disappointed as we change our reservation for Red Wing and cancelled the other reservation. Guess we will go to White Castle. Hopefully they won't run out of those little burgers. Aways short staffed and it's starting to be recognizable each time I stop in. No hostess ever, this seems to be more of a greed problem and they were understaffed as always. Oh, and they always run out of prime rib. Hate to say, but you destroyed my special Valentines Day

On a random Tuesday evening had the craving for a good burger and headed over to Beth's Burgers Bar. This was our third visit and it was a great experience once again. Let's start with the friendliest people you'll encounter; I mean everyone from the hostess whose always taken our order, the manager who came around twice to check on us, Beth dropped a quick follow up visit, and the musician who was engaging. Definitely makes me feel comfortable and invited. How's the food you ask? Great question...two words; tasty and fresh. Allow me to esplane Lucy...there's a laundry list of specialty burgers and the choice to customize one with the abundance of add-ons on the menu. I choose to customize mine..double patties, American cheese, all-the-way, grilled onions, with thousand island dressing...mmhmm. The burger itself was fresh, definitely not frozen, and the add-ons - spot on. Next time I'm doing extra melted cheese with a fried egg. I'll make an appointment with my cardiologist afterwards. The fries are crispy and tasty - nuf said. But their onion rings...C'mon!! Neither were greasy and both were perfect accompaniments.
