The absolute best Wagyu steak that I've ever had. They have an amazing selection of choice, prime and Wagyu beef. They have so much more. I have gotten the Wagyu fillets twice now and they have been fantastic each time. Cooked a Wagyu chuck roast last night for birria tacos, and it was juicy and tender. There have been quite a few times in which the meat I buy either smells sour immediately after opening (particularly their pork belly) though it hasn't been stored improperly at home or it is sour once thawed (we thaw in the fridge). I am not sure what is going on with this place. Out of the few times I have been there, I have had to throw away about half if not most of the items I purchased. I didn't bother calling after the first time it happened, which I probably should have. I am not going back as something is not right either in their processing and storage. I have had better at the Wal-Mart on Creighton road and that's saying a lot as even they have had bad meat before the expiration date smh. I need to move lol this is utterly ridiculous. I guess I'll try Publix and Aldi's from now on! read more

I'm not crazy about a lot of the products they sell here. Some of the frozen goods seem outdated/frostbite frozen. The Chateaubriand we purchased, we hated it, in comparison to the grass fed Australian Chateaubriand we usually get elsewhere. However, the Wagyu they carry is Fabulous. LOVE the wagyu! I love the butcher shop but it's NOT consistent! I live in Pace and travel to THE BUTCHER SHOP for my meat and I've been very dissappointed lately. This is the one of 2 places I will buy meat and it hasn't been very good recently. I feel like it's every other time I go. The meat is phenomenal when it's good but I've thrown out so much meat simply because of the smell. I usually buy Wagyu Skirt steak, pork chops, black garlic and chicken. The pork chops are to die for, the bacon is delicious, but sometimes the texture of the chicken is off. I'm sorry for this review but meat is expensive and when you also have guests in town and rave about this establishment and it doesn't own up to its reputation, that's also disappointing. read more

Unfortunately, the pre packaged Smoked Chicken Salad and Jalapeño Pimento Cheese now have high fructose corn syrup and a bunch of other crap in them. I have purchased my rib roasts here for several years now. They are usually around 15 pounds, prime cut, and well worth it. I can cut the meat with a fork. Even my wife who likes her's well done (I know), has tender servings. The staff is helpful, friendly and welcoming. read more

Great shop to get the best meats possible. Went there last week and was blown away. Briskets looked fantastic including the Prime. Ended up getting some Dino Ribs. Seasoned them with SPG and smoked them on my Weber Kettle with Pecan and Apple. Associate told me to cook them like a brisket and the ribs were fantastic. Go to Sam's Club for Prime beef that is $10/lbs less for fresher meat! ($15/lbs at Sam's versus $25/lbs at Butcher Shoppe for ribeye). Check out the meat. Some of it is worth the price but a lot is about to turn. I have had several prime and wagyu steaks that tasted off. I won't buy the ground wagyu anymore. Most of their business seems to be not the retail store and the get a bad attitude sometimes. read more

Ordered a Christmas Prime Rib Roast. What a great location and some of the nicest and helpful people work there.

The. Best. Ever. My wife and I walked in and were immediately greeted by the welcoming staff. They don't hover but they are always close by for any questions you may have. The prices can't be beat. We walked it to "just look around" ended up needing a basket (do yourself a favor and grab one on the way in). So as we found our way in the steak section we saw the wagyu beef steaks and immediately wanted to try them (seeing as they had two for the price you can only buy one else where). Well we have the sirloins but saw the Denver cut of wagyu and asked the closest associate for help. He recommended the Denver cut, boy he was right! The steaks were tender and melted in your mouth and it wasn't the chef because I am by no means a world class grill operator. Now my wife is wondering why I've been feeding her the scraps of meat our whole marriage when they have these steaks. Haha. But seriously check it out. They do not disappoint. Whatever meat you choose here is top notch. I haven't had a local butcher since Abernathy's closed in Tuscaloosa in the 2000's. The quality difference to the chain stores is huge. I love to walk in with my soft cooler on my arm and explore. I have some stock items I always grab (ground sirloin, pork chops, corn). I will grab a local pie from the cooler in the front of the store on occasion. I'm glad I checked Yelp after I moved here last year looking for a butcher. read more

A friend told me about this place he found on Facebook. I am not a Facebook subscriber, and got the phone number from my friend. When calling they were very helpful as what product to select and the grades of brisket. I ordered A9 brisket and some prime beef short ribs. They ship on Mondays and I was told I would get an email with tracking numbers. My only issue that kept me from going to 5 stars is I never got the email. I called 2 times to see where my order was. They looked it up each time. As it turns out my package arrived on Friday of that week. I was worried in the current heat wave if it would make it. As it turns out it was just cool and all was fine. The meat was wonderful and a crowd pleaser. The only other issue was many of the cold packets we're thawed and had leaked on everything which caused me to have to wash all of the product. Every cut of meat I have ever had from here has always been FANTASTIC/DELICIOUS/FRESH. And the staff is always super accommodating. I mostly frequent the Fairfield location but every time I've been to the Langley location it's always been just as pleasant. This place is the spot. In the photo uploaded I steamed a rib roast in wine and a light beer on a low/med heat for a few hours and then threw it on the grill to char the outside it was amazing! Although I recommend using whole onions if you like them, they turned out amazing but a little soft while the roast was a perfectly beautiful med/rare (garlic salt+pepper, thyme, rosemary, sage) mm mmm mm. read more
