I had the schnitzel grilled sandwich. It had Swiss cheese and the best mustard ever. It was very warm and crispy on the outside. It was very good but I would say the schnitzel was a little plain tasting. If it had a little more seasoning, it would be incredible. The texture was perfect. My husband had the schnitzel platter for one. He gave me his coleslaw and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It tasted homemade in a very good way. He liked everything he got and agreed with me on the schnitzel needing more seasoning. His potatoes were surprisingly tasty. I'd go here again!

Amazing meal as always…read more We've been coming to Amana for around 20 years. No visit here is complete without a meal at one of the family-style dinner restaurants here (there are around 3 of them). We favor the Ronneburg. Tonight (Friday), they were busy but we got seated right away. Our server was Annette and she took great care of us. We started out with a couple of Iced Teas and water. As we knew what we wanted for dinner, we gave our order to Annette right away. We shared the following family style meals: - Bavarian Chicken (served with Spatzle) - Broasted Chicken (served with Spatzle) - Cold family style dishes served before dinner: whole pickled beets, coleslaw, cottage cheese with chives, bread and butter - Hot family styled dishes served with the main dinner entree: sauerkraut, green beans, fried potatoes and brown gravy The cold dishes were all excellent. The green beans were surprisingly good with onion and bacon, the fried potatoes were excellent. We ate about 1/3 of our meals, ordered a slice of coconut cream pie to go and boxed up all the leftovers (mains and sides). We'll eat on all of this for two days! Thank you Annette and thank you Ronneburg for another great experience.

The staff is always knowledgeable and friendly and the atmosphere is awesome. The interior dining area is limited, so call ahead for a spot! But once there you can look at the historic local photographs on the walls, appreciate the ornate metal ceiling, and watch the chef prepare the amazing crepes via a well positioned mirror over the cooking surface. The crepes, whether savory or dessert, never disappoint. There are many wonderful fresh ground coffees to choose from, their aroma greet you as you come in the front door. But my favorite experience at Landmark is to dine outside on the beautiful, secluded patio. We usually go for a crepe, but this time I had the Wagyu beef meatloaf sandwich. Juicy and delicious! And I never stop in without getting the spinach bisque (you can get a cup, but I always get a bowl). It is so rich and creamy and exactly as I remember it from, well, back in the day. Highly recommend!

The are known for their savory quiche and crepes as well as their delicious ice cream filled dessert crepes, ordering the Spinach Bisque is a MUST! While a cup may be fine for some, I always insist on a bowl of the creamy, buttery bisque. Recently for lunch, I chose their Wagyu Meatloaf Sandwich, paired with spicy ketchup, provolone and crispy onion strings on a grilled artisan white bun. The side of Mayo aoli is a great topping too! Sitting inside and watching the chefs prepare the crepes is a delight, but a beautiful afternoon calls for a relaxing meal on their ivy lined patio! It is so cute and gives such great small town peaceful vibes. Highly recommend; but you may need to call ahead for reservations.

It helps that the restaurant also has a giant sign so it would be very hard to miss the building. I entered on the side where, I think, I drove over the curb to get to the parking lot but there was no big issue. It also helps that I got the first parking spot luckily. Outside the building is very nice. My daughter noticed, and the loved, the pig in the front and the tractor. Once we got inside, she was mesmerized with everything the place had to offer. I also enjoyd how they offered a toy tractor to play with while we are ordering and eating. For my late breakfast, I had the Country Breakfast with the country fried steak, sunny side up eggs, shredded hash browns, and toast. I thought we could get the shredded hash brown casserole but must of been a mixup between me and our waitress or the cooks in the back. The country fried steak was delicious. I enjoyed the rest and it is your typical breakfast restaurant...good ole hearty food. My daughter, surprising, ate most of her food and hers + mines toast which was rare. Of course, we had to leave the restaurant with a new brand toy. She thought the one we got the table was hers to keep as well but she quickly understood that it was not and she got another toy to play with. Overall our server was nice and the food was delicious. I would return in the future if I am in the area again.
