Two stops in a row for us is a record! First for lunch, then for breakfast/brunch. This nice bright spot does have a downfall--on weekends when there is a wait, there is not much standing room, but thankfully the standing room they have is right in front of the bakery case, so you really waste no time! They have a great menu, but get ready, nothing is quite as you would expect. First we tried the Cubano. It was delicious, but definitely more of a pulled pork sandwich with pickles, mustard and ham thrown in. It was great either way, just the TBT version. The greens we had added on the side were fresh with a very light vinaigerette. We also added one of the chocolate chip scones. Great flavor! A bit dry for my taste, but I know that is common for scones. The next time we were there we had a that ordered loaded hashbrowns (comes with greens on the side and plenty big enough to share), a tuna melt--which is a warm sandwich, but not really a melt. It's not on toasted bread. Still delicious with a little lemon zest and a side of kettle chips; the huevos rancheros benedict was good, although maybe a little too much chili powder. Still a keeper. Honestly if I only got the coffee and a biscuit with their house made butter and jelly I'd be giving 4 stars. The actual food is somehow very bland. I don't really understand it, even their eggs are flavorless. I've been here twice now and I told myself after the last visit that if I come back here again I will get a black coffee and biscuit and be satisfied.
