I absolutely love coming here. Before work, after work, sauna sessions for optimal sleep & of course the revive sessions! I try to come at least 2 mornings and 2 evenings a week. I changed my schedule to attend Ametrius evening class. His energy is incredible. It is always a good time and I look forward to it. Kickboxing with Trace is a leg crusher & technique enhancer, 100%. Great class. Will be attending weekly. Dacey pushes all of us & me personally to really get it. She walks around and I KNOW I gotta keep going. Love her! Nico & Mateo are awesome. My wife went to The Bxing Club in December '24 to buy her Dad an annual membership. They were happy to take the money and didn't say anything about being in financial trouble, or limit membership to month to month. March '25, 90 days later, they sent out email saying they are closing their doors in 2 days and have spent countless months trying to seek investments or a sale to keep the club open. So, when they took our money they knew they were in financial trouble. I emailed the manger and owner and got a bounce back. I had to track them down to get an email or find out who they are. They left zero way to be reached and zero communication about refunds. They did the same to other lawyers in my office with pre-paid training sessions. Formerly Frogs gym that hosted the fittest celebs and athletes around has now turned into The Bxng Club. I had the chance to check it out for the first time the other day, and as a gym rat I can solemnly swear that this club is amazing. Doesn't matter whether you are a cardio queen, bodybuilder, class gal/guy, boxer, or just someone who likes a smoothie and a sauna, this is your club. The Bxng Club has it all without being over the top or fancy. You can achieve any workout you want here, and the people/trainers are tough as well as super nice. Even though it's a sweet gym and lots of fit people belong it is still inviting and non intimidating to any and all who want to get a good sweat session in. The club has weights, cardio, boxing, classes, locker rooms with saunas, and lots more. The environment is very clean yet had a beach feel that is totally cool. Just walking in the gym you feel energized, motivated, and ready to go! If I lived here then I can say 100% this would be my gym; sadly it'll have to be my vacation gym for now. I renewed my annual membership in January 2025 only after assurance by the staff that despite chain's financial issues, the landlord at the Solana Beach site had renewed the lease for the next year, so that location would remain open. Sadly, this is not the case. I received no notification, just attempted to go to the gym only to find it permanently closed. I'm out over $1000 and trying to figure out what to do about it. read more

I was fortunate enough to make it to this Yelp elite event and try out the studio with some fun extras! While they are still under a little bit of construction, the space was very clean and inviting. After touring the facility, a member of the staff wrapped our hands in preparation for our class- during this time they were able to tell us a little bit more about the space and answer any questions we had. Our class was taught by Kane; he was a very personable and helpful instructor who provided great instruction and adjustments as needed. The class was NO joke- prepare to sweat! It went by quickly as we transitioned from some body exercises to punching the bag quite a bit. I have never boxed before and it was a blast! Not too sure if my arms will work tomorrow but I would def do it again! The facility has lots of other types classes and special features I would love to check out! Such a fun time today at the BXNG Club! I went with my bf for the Yelp Elite Event and we were not disappointed. The space is so beautiful and new. There's so much to do including the gym, boxing classes, and cycling. We attended the boxing class led by Eric today at 5:30. It was so fun and we were extremely sweaty afterward! My bf already has a bit of experience in boxing and he said it was super good to review. I had a fun time learning even though I'm sure I looked crazy haha. In the end it was super fun for the both of us and a great workout with a set of positive welcoming people working and attending. Loved this event! read more

The old fit club transformed into the BXNG club. This gym has a few spots in the front and more parking in the back as well as street parking. The gym itself was clean and lucky me since they were just opening it wasn't swarming with people. Deciding to take a class was a perfect way to test out the gym and see what they were al about. With multiple subscription packages, multiple classes, abundance of gym equipment and more this is a wonderful new alternative to other gyms. The teachers are all patient and informative correcting everyone along the way pushing you to do better and be better. What's even better is they have multiple locations to fit in with everyone's life. Nobody wants to be on the road anymore then they need to be. read more

From the great state of the art BXNG club equipment to the overall experience I highly recommend the boxing club. I have been a member for years but just recently starting working g our regularly at the Solana beach location. On the weekends I work out at their downtown locations. Both locations are amazing and offering all the state of art workout equipment. In addition the different boxing classes and group workouts are amazing. Many other classes are offered and amazing vip one on ones. It's not I my a great workout but also lots of fun. read more

THE only reason why I don't give this place 5 stars is because I wish they offered MORE amazing Yoga classes. I have been around the world doing various yoga classes and Markandeya's class on Sunday and Tuesday mornings is my favorite yoga instructor of all time. Lisa, Summer and Eric are also great yogis as well but I wish they offered more than just Vinyasa yoga. True professional, white glove staff and amenities. Blake that oversees the front desk is super friendly and beyond helpful - he makes the experience feel like a real community gym. But again, wish more types of yoga was offered and quieter experience of noise in the yoga studio. But overall amazing gym. Who else has been forced to pay for a gym you didn't sign up for? My 18-year-old joined her first gym, FiT, in February of 2022. Two months after joining, FIT announced it was closing its doors and a remodel began on the building. She assumed her membership had been automatically canceled. There was no communication or reason to believe otherwise. A few months after FIT closed its doors I thought it was fraud when I started seeing charges on my Amex for something called The BXNG club, a combat martial arts and jiu-jitsu gym. After some calls with amex, I found out the BXNG club some how was allowed to absorb her FIT account and the credit card information associated with it and began billing the Amex $119 a month after the BXNG club's "soft open" this summer. She has never stepped foot in the BXNG club, as that is not the type of gym she enjoys. I thought it would be a simple fix. She didn't join the BXNG club, didn't authorize charges, and never once went there. It's not like she used the services and owed them for anything. Instead the argumentative woman I spoke to on the phone informed me that my daughter was somehow now under contract with BXNG club, because they had bought FITs memberships and she would be forced to pay the membership until she took the necessary steps per the terms of her contract with FiT to close the account. She went on to argue it was my daughters fault for not opting out of the membership because she had been sent an email. After some digging we found ONE email in my daughters spam, sent with vague message about the opening one day of a BXNG club with no clear instructions that her membership was being enforced by this new martial arts gym. The email went to spam, because it came from a mailing list and from an unfamiliar business she had never heard of, the BXNG club, not FIT! The cherry on top is that I declined the payment thru Amex and BXNG club FOUGHT IT, apropos of their combat style approach to fitness I guess , by submitting her FIT contract to Amex as proof that she has to still pay them! I wonder if this is even legal? How many other people has this happened to? I can't imagine who wants to do business like this in a small community like solana beach. It feels incredibly deceptive and unscrupulous to take money from an 18 year old like this. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. They took over FIT and some how absorb my account + credit card information and decided it was ok to charge me without my permission for a membership I did not sign up for. They are now refusing to issue a refund. Sketchy business that charges people without their permission do not belong in the Solana Beach community. read more

Would give 10 stars if possible. Literally gorgeous! They have everything you need to get a great workout, lots of space and lots of classes. All inclusive membership is a lifesaver. I can take as many classes as I want and still workout on my own Love that their staff has been so helpful whenever I need anything. They're clothing is super comfortable and cute. So excited that they have a program that will help build my boxing skills as well as get my conditioning up. No way you can't hit your goals here. Best combat / fitness gym out there read more

I absolutely love this place! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the coaches are top notch! I was very skeptical about boxing but have learned so much from the power boxing classes offered here. Aside from boxing, there is a full gym complete with cardio equipment, free weights, benches and machines. I started taking personal training sessions with Ametrius, and this has helped so much with my form and technique. He provides excellent instruction and makes training so fun! Fisrt review 1 star: we had an awful experience trying to cancel the membership. we did it via their system, they never got the request and they kept charging us. We called the gym once, they never returned and when I could finally get ahold of the the financial employee, she was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional over the phone. Tried to cancel in person and it didn't help. After posting a very honest review, things changed overnight. Update: 3 starts - after all the frustration, they decided to refund the months, after all they found the records, but the whole experience was not great. My Girlfriend and I both love this gym! We were both members of Fit Athletic in this location before it closed down. As an avid weightlifter I was extremely pessimistic about BXXNG club, but it's turned out to my surprise to be astoundingly good in every way. The gym has a very warm friendly staff, is extremely clean, and still has more than enough to keep any weightlifter satisfied. My girlfriend was interested in some of the classes and recently started training Muay Thai with Jesse and absolutely loves it. Pretty sure this was my first group indoor workout since Covid started! With two little ones and a crazy work schedule it's been near impossible to maintain and actually utilize a gym membership. My workouts tend to be more cardio focused (I run a few half marathons a year) and have really been looking for ways to diversify my workouts. I made it out to the Yelp elite event on Sunday and it totally kicked my butt. My arms and abs were so sore the next day I couldn't carry my kids bahaha. I found myself at the BXNG club when the bought my old gym, FIT in Solana Beach. I hesitated to join as I have never been nor have I ever had any interest in boxing. I've been belonged to a gym for literally my entire adult life but, now over 70 years old, the thought of boxing never entered my mind. But I joined and I'm very glad I did. The staff has been very helpful and the membership I got provides me with unlimited boxing classes, gloves/wraps and I received 4 personal trainer sessions. I thought about a free Silver Sneakers gym and then joining a yoga study, however at BXNG I have access to yoga, Pilates, free weights and boxing. The cost was equal and perhaps a little less. Sometimes I wish the classes were at a different time but I'm able to work it out. I really like some of the yoga instructors as well as the boxing instructors. And what a great workout boxing is! I joined this club on July 1st. I haven't been back since. I've been trying to cancel my membership since July 15th, which has been difficult. They make it very hard to cancel, and their arrogance about my membership cancellation is baffling. I am still working on this membership cancelation, and I am at a point where I feel that I might need to take legal action even to get this membership canceled. They have me running around in circles trying to get this done. This is frustrating. This is not a club you want to join, as they make it hard to cancel. I feel they trapped me in, and I can't get out. I am still waiting for an answer that should not take more than a day to complete. Be careful before you join because it is hard to get out. read more

I love this gym. I started coming here about 6 months ago when they opened. The classes are not only fun but also a killer workout with so many different options. They have boxing, spin, pilates, yoga, Jiu Jitsu and many others. Which is great to mix up your workouts. The instructors and staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They also offer cardio and weights if that's what you need. The facility is clean and they play great music. Blake at the front desk goes above and beyond. He is extremely helpful, always answering all my questions and greeting me by name. When cardio was closed for construction Blake specifically notified me when it had reopened so I did not miss my workouts (Much appreciated!) In addition, he introduced me to cryotherapy which is offered at this facility. It's amazing for recovery!!! I highly recommend this gym. read more

Just completed my 6 months with this gym. Location: steps to ocean in solana beach. You can smell the ocean when working out in their small but effocient outdoor gym area. Plenty of parking in their lot and street parking available as well. Place: big, well-lit and open place. Weight area equipment could be newer. Nice big TVs. Clean bathroom area. Music: they play a lot hip hop amd some latin. Very loud but I get it why. Some European techno music would be great. Coaches: this is very they really shine. They are all good, attentive and friendly. Front desk: friendly and helpful bunch. Gabi is awesome in particular. Price: if you pay a year upfront and considering its all you can eat I think their price is actually pretty good. Trimmed one star because of music selection, and slightly worn out weight room equipment. Overall Verdict: highly recommended for all sorts of exercises. read more

You guys, I'm addicted. As someone that usually needs a friend to drag me to go workout, I can say that in the past month I've done a complete 180. It helps that I live 5 minutes away but I'm here 4-5 times a week now. The boxing/kickboxing classes are FUN and kick your ass. I've tried a few teachers and they're all really great and everyone at the front desk is so friendly. Eric, Gabe, Matteo, and Caine's classes are the ones I'm repetitively drawn to but I haven't given everyone a shot yet. Careful of the complimentary first PT and cryo sessions they offer, you won't want to stop. Here just take my money, have it all at this point . read more

The place reminds me of EQUINOX gym, but with a heavy emphasis on martial arts. There are still parts of the gym that are still under construction, but the rest of it is world class! Helpful staff, really good instructors (shoutout to Rich Gibson and Eric Villanueva), plenty of bags so there is plenty of space without bumping into others and cleanliness. read more

They have had a "meet the team" event when the gym was still under fit for current members to ask questions/ give feedback/ meet the new management and owner! They have been consistently communicating with members even when the location was closed for renovations, and they have upgraded this space beyond all possible expectations. I finally tried the bxing club last night and was almost in tears about how much I loved it !!!! I've always wanted to learn boxing, but I'm a really skinny little string bean girl with no coordination so I was really nervous and intimidated but I ended up having soooo much fun !!!! The girl who gave me the tour (I think her name was gabby?) was sooo sweet and patient with all my questions and super helpful too! I was a former member of FIT Solana Beach and was a bit skeptical of joining the BXNG Club because it is a very different gym than what I am used to. Joining the BXNG Club was the best decision I could have made. It is such a fun environment to workout in! I was not a group class person until I became a member here, and now I am addicted to the Power kickboxing classes, the muay thai classes, and yoga. I have also done some personal training sessions as well with coach Matteo and coach Eric and was impressed by their knowledge of combat sports and fitness in general. I was also impressed by the professionalism of the coaches as a whole as well as the front desk squad. The BXNG Solana Beach GM Lexi was so helpful when she gave me a tour and she explained everything they offer in great detail. Highly recommend trying a class here. The BXNG Club truly is an all inclusive gym, that offers unlimited classes (with any membership you get) as well as a weight room, cardio area, and a functional training area outside.
