It's creamy cheese base and hearty helping of thickly cut tender mushrooms makes for a dish that seems to hug your heart and soul. The Polenta is the best cooked I've ever had: it's seasoned well and cooked so that it's the perfect density (like a little cake). Other places crisp their Polenta too hard and it gets stuck in your teeth, or they make it way too salty or not seasoned enough. Geiser Grand gets it right! The "Artichoke Dip" wasn't thick enough and the crostini its served with was quickly forgotten for the free bread. If you do order this appetizer, I do have to admit that I LOVED sopping up all the left over sauce with the free bread.
