Wonderful neighborhood home style diner! Excellent food and very friendly servers. I was craving Greek food and the Omelet hit the spot! Loaded with gyro meat, veggies and a layer of feta cheese. We're always looking for a good breakfast spot and we were pleasantly surprised by this little gem. This is a family owned business and you can tell that they put a lot of attention and love into the restaurant. We had no expectations and we were looking for a traditional breakfast this morning. We ordered the benedict, the del prado breakfast, and a patty melt. Everything we had was delicious and our waitress was super attentive and friendly. Perfect for a late breakfast as I'm slowly falling off the keto wagon. I had the "Gyro and feta" omelet which was great. Plenty of meat, plenty of cheese. and with great home fries on the side. This is the kind of "home style diner" that isn't as common as once was. The vibe is homestyle comfort food in an environment filled with chatty neighbors catching up with each others' lives. I like the place. The menu selection is vast and the staff is as friendly and hospitable as can be. There are a couple of tables outside if it's not too hot but be warned: There's some construction going on next door so it can be a little noisy and dusty out there. Ordinarily I'd give 5 stars to a place like this, but the prices are a touch on the high side. I paid north of $16, plus a generous tip, for basically a burger and fries. No drink. I hear what they say in Washington about the miracle of 'Bidenomics' but if $16+ for a burger and fries is the new normal, I ain't on board with it. read more

We stopped in for breakfast today (10/17/22). I chose the 2 egg breakfast with fried potatoes, sausage and a biscuit. I loved that they had the flavored creamers on the table. Both times I've been here recently I got the Monte Cristo sandwich. The first time it was quite good with the French toast being crispy; the second time it was on the soggy side and both times the turkey was a little dry but it's a nice ambience and the people that work there are very friendly. If you have a need for a good breakfast, a lunch , or Greek fare you go here. This time a got a Greek style lasagna, about 9 bucks. House made from scratch. Delish and just made for all the wimpy taste buds of Floridians. So good. Plus the house made soup of clam chowder. Most places of the mom & pop eatery's make their own soups & sweet tea. We used to really enjoy breakfast here. That ship has sailed. First waitress thought, another for some unknown reason, was serving us = poor service even though it wasn't busy. We walked in and immediately walked out. The whole restaurant absolutely stinks and it was hard not to gag for the 45 seconds we spent there. We ate at Lenny's a couple stores away and spent the whole time discussing the smell. To me, it smelled like a sewage leak or a pipe burst because it smelled distinctly of rotten water and human crap. Other ideas thrown out there: spoiled food and old trash. It was overwhelming. The food could taste incredible, but it would be impossible to know because of the rancid stink. Sorry, guys, but you need to take care of your restaurant first and the customers will come. Something was seriously wrong and nobody could eat in those conditions. read more
