I've been here before the remodel and was hoping it would be better. The service is amazing. The same staff is there and they're sweet as ever! But the cleanliness and the food is lacking huge. All three stars go towards the service. Amazing stuff. The kitchen needs to step it up a big jump and the cleanliness could be because they're still under construction, but I don't think so. This restaurant is in the same location as the former House of Omelets. We're always looking for a good breakfast place so we went this morning to try it out. I found the restaurant was clean and the service was very good. The food, however, was barely mediocre. The coffee was like dishwater and at $3.75 a cup the management should get a quality brand. I sent back the coffee and after asking if they had fresh orange juice, I ordered a glass of OJ instead. The waiter said it was fresh orange juice but it came from a vendor and was not fresh squeezed at the restaurant. Well, I don't know where it came from, but it did not taste like fresh squeezed and was bitter to the taste. I ordered the eggs benedict and found the Hollandaise sauce bland and nearly tasteless, and the english muffin had an off taste as well. it was not a bad taste, it just did not taste like a quality english muffin does. What a great hole in the wall. I found this place off Apple maps and decided to try it out with my boyfriend. The first time we went, we had breakfast and it was delicious so we decided to go again. We went today and got lunch and it was just as good! The servers are so sweet here and service is great. This is definitely a regular place we'll be coming to more often. Today was the first time we went to the Omelet Shop, since it changed it name many years ago. We were pleasantly surprised by the more than quick service after ordering. I got the Greek Omelet, hash browns, coffee and Dave got the Meat Lovers Omelet with grits and an English muffin. Both were very good, fresh and filled with lots of veggies, cheeses and meats. Mine had a side of tzatziki. The coffee was good and hot. The atmosphere very pleasant. Of course it's next to our favorite bakery Amore loll! ( Hard to resist lol!) It's great to find another breakfast/lunch place that we can enjoy when we are in the south Cape. We love supporting our local community businesses! read more

First: service was prompt and kind with a normal standard cafe setting. Coffee had the worst aftertaste even with 5 creams. Hash-browns and scrambled eggs were extremely dry. Pancakes were rubbery, and Rye toast was bland. Kids cheese and sausage omelet came out as an egg pancake with no cheese and just sausage links on the side. Server noticed the sausage links and said they could remake but we said no problem but we didn't notice there was no cheese until she had left. We are not Snowbirds..... been residents for 10 years. We've been here before, just a handful of times..... food was always " average for the money". Not this time! And service was worse than the food. It wasn't worth the trip, and it wasn't worth our time. So save yourself some time and money, the next time you're going out to breakfast. read more

Had family in town, took them there for breakfast. On a past visit, 5 of the 7 of us ordered an eggs benedict dish. All 5 poached eggs were overcooked on that visit. So today when I ordered, I asked the waitress about the poach eggs and if they would be cooked correctly. She quickly stated that the poach eggs are cooked perfectly every time. So I went ahead and ordered. And guess what, the eggs were over-cooked. Poached egg yolks should be runny. These were not. Huge failure on the part of the waitress. I had asked about poached eggs, she should have done her job and made sure they were cooked correctly. I was also surprised that the coffee tasted as if it was made with regular CC tap water. They should have a filter for the water. The coffee is gross. I shouldn't have tipped the waitress, but I'm too nice. I'll probably never go back. read more

We hit Big 10 (next door) regularly, but have never tried the breakfast side of things. This was our first time getting there early enough for breakfast/brunch. The Omelet Shop side was packed, and the wait was long, so we went next door to Big 10 and sat at the bar (no wait!). Unless you need a big table or a booth, this is the way to go - they share a kitchen and you can still order your breakfast from either side. The wait for our food was a bit long, but it was one kitchen servicing two shops. The food itself was excellent, as usual. The southern burrito was to die for, and I might have a new breakfast favourite. We'll be back for sure! read more

This is the third time we have been here in two years and this last time we were disappointed. We were seated quickly as it wasn't busy on a weekday. We like the new fresh look with a recent update/remodel however covering the Greetings from Cape Coral wall with two TV's was a mistake IMO In addition, if you order a SKILLET for breakfast, it does not come in an actual skillet (which is what we are used to). Might be a small thing but just wanted to mention that. Still do not like the look of whatever oil they put on top of their omelets (glossy) looks greasy For the price, the breakfast was just OK yet I don't think we will be back to try again for another few years read more

if I could give this place zero stars I sold wood I'm so highly disappointed. I've been coming here from years due to the old business owner Jason he was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for his community and also for his customers. I came here three days ago with my husband and had beef hash. Honestly, it was absolutely amazing better than I've ever had it there the service was great. I was in the mood for it so I decided to order it when I received my meal. It was completely different from what I got the first time the like pulled pork. They forgot the hashbrowns in general. And my toast when I brought it back to them the lady told me she would talk to the cook and get it revised for me. When she brought it back the second time it was even worse. I then went to the bar and asked the server to help me instead of the host and she was very nice but she started to complain to me about the cooks making a hassle about it and giving her attitude, which is ridiculous because I'm paying for this food and you have one job to be consistant! when they it back to me the third time you can tell they just threw it back into the fryer and fried everything together they didn't give brand new eggs. They were burnt cheese because it dried out so much the hashbrowns look like it was dog food I will never go back to this establishment again. It is so sad on how much this new owner. has not trained their staff correctly to treat customers and also to keep the name that they had before I will never go back. read more

Met up with my brother for breakfast this morning and we had a good time. Service was excellent and our waitress kept the coffee flowing even though we hung out for an extra hour. We promised that we'd leave as soon as the place filled up but that never really happened and she didn't mind. I chose the "Omelet Shop Omelet" which turned out to be a very large omelet loaded with bacon and ham and sausage plus peppers and mushrooms and onions. Big. Which was fine with me and my keto diet, as I skipped the home fries and the toast and still managed to clear my plate. Lots of other great stuff on the menu, including Benedicts and pancakes and huge stuffed burritos. I'm not sure I would ever choose the "blue omelet with sausage, peppers, onions and blue cheese" or the "topical omelet with ham, pineapple, onions, peppers and cheese" but maybe those appeal to someone. Upon arrival, we were greeted after standing there a minute or 2. There was an older woman at the bar "setting up" that made no eye contact or attempt to welcome us. Then someone said they'll be with us soon. A few minutes later, we were invited to sit at a dirty table. I asked for the table to be cleaned and the attitude we received was not appreciated so we left. There were about 12 tables with 3 waitresses. No reason to be treated like that. If it were busier I could understand but even if it were very busy, the owners should know about how the employees are conducting business for them. read more

Finally! A restaurant getting back to normal! We've been coming here for 3 years and love the Greek Gyro Breakfast Skillets and Bloody Brits (Bloody Mary with Gin instead of Vodka)). The new ownership is awesome! I know this may piss a couple people off, but I'm so glad the staff and huge majority of customers are not wearing masks (to include me and my fiancé.
