Complaint Regarding Poor Customer Service Experience…read more Dear Management, I am writing to express my disappointment regarding my recent shopping experience at your Seal Beach location. I arrived at the store before closing time and was interested in making purchases. However, at approximately 6:40 PM, the music was turned off, creating the impression that customers were being encouraged to leave before the posted closing time of 7:00 PM. Around 6:35 PM, I attempted to use a fitting room, but all fitting rooms were locked. There were no available staff members to assist me or explain the situation. Later, at approximately 6:52 PM, I was ready to make a purchase but again could not find any employee available to assist me at the register. When I finally received assistance, the customer service I experienced was rude and unprofessional. I felt unwelcome and was treated as though I was inconveniencing the staff despite being in the store during normal business hours. This was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. Customers should be able to shop and receive courteous service until the advertised closing time. I hope you will address these issues with your staff and ensure that future customers are treated with respect and provided proper assistance.

For the price they charge on the clothing and accessories, you should be getting much better service. I was considering starting to shop there, but I think they lost a customer. I will not go where I don't feel i am getting good service and appreciated for shopping in their store. Two stars because I did buy a bracelet and I love it. If I wanted that type of service, I would shop at Kohl's or JCPenney. I expected there, not in a bad way, it's just not the same experience when you're shopping in a high-end store. There's so much to see! This shop is located at The Arbor, a neighbor of Shenandoah At The Arbor, a wonderful restaurant! Except for the sign out front, you'd think this was a residence rather than a store! Inside is chock-full of many things! Be careful walking around so you don't tip anything over! Some of the things that caught my eye were the teacups, vintage toys, & fun trinkets. They also sell garden signs, clothing, and cards! When we visited this past Sunday, they were having an Open House. They were offering hot dogs, nachos, sweet treats, and lemonade. Super welcoming and generous of them! If you're looking for a good shoe store this is a place to go in Seal Beach. I decided to get me the Hoka shoes. Considering I have back problems and knee problems and I walk my puppy twice a day. These shoes feel so light and they feel great on my feet. These are wide shoes and my toes are not feeling squeezed in. So if you have wide feet, they got a variety there for you too. I asked a friend where he got his Hokas and he said a shoe store in the Ralph's shopping center. I knew the place as I live near that store on Seal Beach Blvd. Tina asked how she could help me and I told her my foot doctor wanted me to check out New Balance shoes. Tina took measurements of my feet and went to get me four pairs to pick from. I'll bet she spent a half hour helping me and basically telling e the same things my podiatrist said. Ultimately I picked a pair of Hokas and some Olukai sandals. And then she blew me away and asked me to come back in two weeks just so she could follow up. If you have sore feet, go see Tina, she really knows her stuff.

It was a great option being in California with the only real outlet to rubs and sauces being bbq's galore which is limited. I was gifted a gift card in September of 2024. The main thing I wanted to use it for was pellets and for the better part of 10 months this store was out of stock. What I didn't know was there was an ownership change. When I called and the pellets were finally in stock (August 2025) I drove down, grabbed three bags and was told my gift card wasn't good because of ownership change. I was told that they tried to let existing credit holders know to use their gift cards and that there was a grace period of when pre existing gift cards would be valid. At the end of the day, as a new business owner, I get you want to be profitable from the start and honor somewhat pre existing gift cards. I follow you on Instagram and at no time did you ever post anything about needing to use pre existing gift cards by a certain date as stated by your employee. With so many options to purchase rubs, sauces, and pellets these days, this spot will not get my business. FWIW if you need lumberjack pellets or meat church (the best in the business) just go to bbq's galore and save yourself a few bucks.

I was pretty bummed to find that their selection of elevated dresses was relatively limited. In fact, a large majority of the options felt dated or incredibly picked through. Besides the women's clothing department, this NR also offered a small selection of accessories and home goods. A huge portion of the store was dedicated to shoes and male clothing. So this might be the right NR if you're in the market for these items!

I was surprised that the business is owned by a very entrepreneur. She was so friendly and sweet as well as the entire staff. During that occasion, I was able to see their beautiful dresses and accessories with the cherry blossom motif. I love cherry blossoms and I thought all the items were all carefully selected and so cute but honestly, I thought it's best suited for the younger crowd. We were treated with some bites and teas. There were some arts and crafts lessons available for kids and young adults. There were raffles and games. I didn't win anything but I had fun. Before I left, I went through the entire product display again and wasn't able to resist getting the cherry blossom purse. I haven't used use it though because I think it's too girly for my age.
