Tacoma dog without the bacon bits. Soooo good!!
    Veronica C.

I've been wanting to go to the camp bar for sooo long and finally got my opportunity as I dropped my father off for an appointment in the area. I was told it could take upwards of two hours and they'd call me 15 minutes before he's ready to go so I stopped in this afternoon. I was dangerously close to becoming diabetic recently so I'm on a diet now to correct my bad eating habits which is pretty low carb and sugars making going out a bit difficult but i figured I've been doing pretty dang good keeping my sugar and carb levels as well as calories in check and I planned to attend a salsa dancing event in the evening with a friend anyways and knew I would burn tons of calories off there so decided to indulge just a bit ;) I had the one eyed squirrel and the Axe'spresso martini for cocktails and both were divine !! The one eyed squirrel was soooo good for a lighter drink and it's such a fun drink to get at that thanks to a plastic eyeball !!! I kept my squirrel eye ball as a souvenir!! The Axe'spresso martini was delicious as well and a great drink to wake you up when you want more energy! I also got a hot dog... the Tacoma dog. Normally it's a hot dog with bacon bits, cream cheese and caramelized onions but I requested no bacon bits as I'm not really a fan of bacon personally. It was also yummy and a pretty BIG and juicy weiner lol !!!! The ambiance inside is incredible!!! It's just like being in a log cabin in the woods. I'm going to be moving at the end of November but I told a close friend of mine about my experience and hope we will stop by together before I leave Washington. I really want to have the s'mores experience at Camp Bar and maybe do some karaoke there too! Definitely check this place out if you haven't been yet.. this bar is a whole lotta fun !

Love the camp bar! It's maybe or maybe not in a bad part of town . Lol. However, it always feels like a great bar to call home. The drinks are first rate. If you are bourbon connoisseur, there are some pretty choice ones. The menu is a hit and miss. I think there kitchen is a bit small but if you stick with recommendations, you will be fine .extra points with events like karoke , trivia , and drag brunch are can't missed

I love this bar!! - written the night of Looking back a week later after my check in, I honestly can't remember much past the first couple of hours. The lemonade and Squirrel Eye drinks are dangerous. They taste so sweet and innocent, next thing you know you're making bets with strangers. All I know is that I have to crush a watermelon between my legs now or risk losing $20 to a stranger that has my number. All joking aside, drinks were amazing. Don't let the sweetness fool you though, they're strong. The dry chicken wings with sauce on the side were the perfect level of crispy. The peppers on the hummus plate are fire. Only down side is that I apparently reeked of grease when I got home? I had to wash my bedsheets to get rid of the smell. I don't remember getting anything greasy, but then again I don't remember much at all.

Tacoma Dog and Spicy Chicken Sandwich

My boyfriend and I have been wanting to check out The Camp Bar for so long, and I'm glad we finally got the chance to! We're both super into all things hiking/camping/the PNW, and this spot is the place for you if you're into the same vibe. It's very much a dive bar and the atmosphere is really relaxed. Everyone is super nice. You order at the bar (including food) but we had a couple bartenders and even the cook come check with us at our table that everything was enjoyable to us. For food, we went with the Tacoma Dog and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich. The Tacoma Dog is their take on a Seattle Dog - basically a Seattle Dog, but with bacon bits loaded on top of it. The Spicy Chicken Sandwich is a Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, and SO good. Both were really good in their own ways, and it's hard to say what I liked better. We made sure to ask for both cut in half so we could each try both. Another bonus - The Camp Bar is pickle back friendly! Finding places that do pickle backs is hit or miss, but they were ready to go with a whole bottle of pickle juice. Also, note that the pours are STRONG here - not complaining! If you're still not comfortable sitting indoors, they also have a covered seating area outside. Not sure if it's heated or not. Sticking with the camping theme, you can also order s'mores for two here which is super cute. Definitely a fan of this spot. I'm sure we'll be back!

Welcome to the great outdoors...but indoors! This unique restaurant is themed after someone's obvious love for camping. From the lighting, to the décor on the wall to the table inside a tent, this place will make you feel like you need to get out the mosquito repellant and a flannel jacket. It's camping time, yo! The menu is pretty typical of bar food-burgers, hot dogs, tater tots. I ordered a plain hot dog (because that's what I eat when I'm camping!) and they called it a "streaker dog" because there was nothing on it. Ha! If you want water, you serve yourself out of a dispenser at the bar. The best part of the meal was the s'more's for dessert. They bring a small propane fire pit to your table, along with skewers and fixin's for your treat and you make it just the way you want it. I loved this unique menu item and felt like it perfectly fit with the ambience. Since this is technically a bar, nobody under 21 is allowed. So while you might be tempted to bring the littles for this family campout, keep this one for adults-only.

Cooper's hosted one of our Porsche Club breakfast social events, and from start to finish this one was a 10. Everyone came away impressed, which if you've ever tried to please a table full of hungry car enthusiasts, you know is not a given. Andrea led the service, and she was outstanding. This woman knows how to manage a large, hungry group! To perform this with that kind of calm efficiency is a real skill! The whole team reflected the same energy. They were all attentive, warm, and clearly proud of the place they work in. I can't say enough about the people here. The thoughtful touch that really stood out: Porsche-themed mimosas and breakfast spirits prepared specially for our event. That kind of detail is something a great hospitality team delivers. It set the tone for the whole morning. The space itself is immaculate and the decor is genuinely cool. Those of us who hadn't dined there before were genuinely impressed. Cleanliness here is a point of obvious pride. All in all, Cooper's is a destination for casual quality. Magnificent experience, start to finish, and I can't wait to return!

On our most recent visit we tried the nachos, and they were honestly the best nachos I've ever had. The cheese sauce is amazing- not some gross canned stuff. Dirty Oscar's Annex - Disappointing Experience on 6th Ave…read more We came in as a group of seven, and unfortunately the experience went downhill quickly. First, the service was poor and disorganized. One of my friends arrived early and ordered her drink, but it didn't arrive until after I had already received mine -- even after she asked twice. We also had to wait far too long for basic things like napkins and forks because we weren't given enough for everyone. The most frustrating part, however, was the automatic gratuity. At no point were we informed -- verbally or on the menu -- that parties of 6 or more are charged an automatic 20% gratuity. We only discovered it by carefully reviewing our checks. And to make matters worse, the so-called "20%" was not actually 20%. It came out to 24.1%. When we questioned it, the person who said she was the manager claimed "the computer does it automatically." We are a table full of teachers -- and the math was definitely not mathing. We understand and respect gratuity for large parties, especially when the service is great or when it's clearly communicated. But charging more than the stated percentage crosses from poor service into a billing integrity issue. To add to the frustration, there is also a credit card processing fee, which again was not clearly disclosed on the menu and only appeared at the bottom of the receipt. This absolutely should be visibly posted before ordering. They did offer to refund some of the charges, but we declined because it would have taken additional time and we had an event to get to -- and more importantly, it doesn't resolve the core issue of lack of transparency. She also gave each of us a $10 gift card, but again, that doesn't resolve the issue. And honestly, what good is a gift card if we don't plan on returning because of such an awful experience? Overall, this was a very disappointing visit, and not one we would recommend based on service and transparency alone.

When I arrived at 10:00 AM, the manager was not there. I want to specifically thank the kitchen stuff who was there early; he was very kind, tried to help me, and suggested I wait at the bar while he tried to contact the manager. However, when the bartender arrived later, the situation turned unpleasant. Even though I had been waiting since 10:00 AM, he rudely accused me of being late. When I explained the situation, he dismissively said, 'I never seen my manager here on Wednesdays anyway,' and showed zero effort to help. He wouldn't even have bothered to call the manager if I hadn't explicitly insisted and asked him to. After the call, he simply told me the manager 'had something important to do' and wouldn't be coming, suggesting I should just come back later. It is incredibly disrespectful to confirm an appointment and then simply not show up , wasting a candidate's time and gas money. If the management treats potential staff with this much disregard and allows their floor staff to be so rude to applicants, it speaks volumes about the business culture. I hope the owner addresses this internal communication breakdown.

Secondly, Cassandra was absolutely superb!! We all thoroughly had an amazing experience, from the drinks, appetizers, to our entrees, and the service. The Lavender Martini was top notch, and we also ordered the White Mojito. That mojito was crisp and refreshing! Two spectacular cocktails. As for our meals, undeniably unbelievable!! I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye, with Garlic Potatoes and crisp Broccolini. So crisp and a unique almost vinaigrette flavoring, with a subtle spice. As a side, we ordered the Thousand Layer Potato. We were the only people in the dining room for lunch the entire time until our last 10 mins. This restaurant is inside a casino in Fife. Parking is interesting, and the casino itself is in the middle of a reno so it looks a bit messy but otherwise it is fine. Kudos to them for trying to make the outside section nice because the view kind of kills it. Pros - it's a very nicely designed space. The hostess and our waitress were so nice and welcoming, even giving me a stool for my bag (and it wasn't even my fanciest bag lol!) Overall, the restaurant is nice, the food seems to be mostly fresh and good quality and service was nice. I actually quite enjoyed my ribeye, despite our broccolinni having no almonds, as stated on the menu. My affogato was good, and the cake frosting and flavors were good. Cons - I say these with love...but we both feel the kitchen was not up to par, or the main chef was off, or something happened because there were quite a few mishaps during our visit. The appetizers were good, but the scallops needed salt and I would not pair them with pineapple, personally. The calamari weren't the most tender, and the breading was interesting - it's definitely not your typical breading, it suited a fish and chips dish better. The sweet and spicy sauce served with it is from trader Joe's...I know because I've bought it before, so I don't believe it's house made. Like I previously stated, the broccolinni was missing the almonds, and the carrots on the side that I ordered for $13 were so embarrassing that the waitress came back after serving us and told us that she spoke to the manager and got those off our bill. That's how ridiculous they were, so thank you to her for having good values at work. While I liked my steak, it was very, very fatty, and my husband asked for medium rare and definitely got medium well. Lastly, the pink champagne cake was disappointing, not because it was yucky, but because the cake itself was clearly days old, and had been freshly frosted. It was tough, dry and stale, while the frosting was fresh and light. Overall, I can see coming back but I'm in no rush due to the price/location/overall food.

Finally got a chance to try it at noon today, and it was a great experience! Environment: The overall vibe is very American. There were TVs on the walls constantly playing various ball games, like today's playoff game between the Thunder and the Lakers. It was pretty busy on the weekend, especially the outdoor seating area, which was almost full. The building is an old structure dating back to the 1900s. Though it shows its age, it's very clean both inside and out--you can tell the owner really cares. Service: Our waitress was very, very friendly and professional. She gave us great recommendations, always served with a smile, checked in on us during the meal, and refilled our water. Very satisfied! Taste: Pizza: There's a funny little story: supposedly, Marco Polo went to China and saw pies, but didn't know how to wrap the filling inside, so he just put it on top--and thus the pizza was born. Personally, I think this is a myth, or many people have started fantasizing about Marco Polo because they think he was too great. But according to various unearthed historical records in China, Marco Polo never actually went to China. In fact, around 2010, more than 20 scholars organized an event called "Retracing Marco Polo's Route." After completing the journey and comparing it to what Marco Polo himself recorded, most of them concluded that he probably never made it to China. Sorry, I have a strong urge to share--went off on a long tangent about Marco Polo. But the pizza was really delicious. It should be truly fire‑baked, not oven‑baked. The sauce was well‑balanced, and the toppings were generous and fresh. My wife and I ate more than half of it! Salad: The dressing and cheese were very generously applied, and the greens were fresh. Chicken wings: They had a pleasant sweet‑savory taste, just right. Unlike most American restaurants where they're too salty or too sweet, these were perfectly balanced. All the dipping sauces were good. Overall, highly recommended!

I ordered the pork chop, and WOW, absolutely delicious. For dessert, we tried the beignets and the carrot cake. The beignets were great, but the carrot cake completely stole the show. Perfectly moist, not overly sweet, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in a while. The presentation of every dish was also beautifully done. We would 100% come back again.

Definitely unassuming from the outside. We were in town for…read morea graduation. We were recommended this restaurant. Upon parking, I didn't know what to expect. Upon entry, a very inviting restaurant with seating inside and outside. We voted for inside to enjoy our dinner. Service was great. The waiter was very attentive. Minimal guests in the restaurant but still had the workers running. Food was great. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it. And it was so large that I did not expect it for that price. Dessert was one of the best things as well. Clean restaurant, good amount of choices to pick, plenty of seatings, including the bar area. Parking was good as well.
