Best pizza in Mississippi by far!…read more Their food truck was amazing but now they have a full service restaurant and bar and the food is even more amazing! Award winning pizza dough.... high quality ingredients, and the portion size of the toppings are perfect. We also tried the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was beyond good. They use their pizza crust for the bread, baked and folder over almost calzone style. The quality of the shaved sliced prime rib is excellent, the meat was incredibly moist, tender, and the sautéed onions and green peppers complemented by their beer cheese made this culinary surprise a solid 10 out of 10. Great portion, priced just right, arrived to the table piping how..... seriously, order this sandwich!!!! Great small-town atmosphere, and the service is exceptional. We were greeted with a warm welcome, a smile, and that friendliness was also extended by our server who gave excellent service, checked back a few times, refilled drinks, and kept us informed about how long our order would take to arrive at our table. The place is worth the drive from Laurel.... Five stars for sure.... go for the pizza, but also try other items off their surprisingly great menu. They also have nice pasta dishes, several salad choices, and an excellent appetizer menu as well. We had their home made pretzel bites with beer cheese, a 10 out of 10... a must! Lastly, their build your own salad is genius. $11.00 is the price... you pick the type of greens and up to six toppings of an extensive list of choices... great value given the size of he salad and the amount of toppings.....

First the good. The 6 OZ filet mignon was cooked to perfection and was incredibly tender! Worth…read moreevery penny. The brussel sprouts side was undercooked but had good flavor. The chef needed to par boil until tender before cooling down... all this before hitting the deep fryer. Flavor was good, but tough and chewy. My 14 OZ Delmonico Ribeye was cooked a perfect medium-rare, had great flavor, and overall was a quality cut of beef. The garlic mashed potatoes were served hot and fluffy, but they were not a stand-out, just your average mashed potatoes. They were real, though... when others uses instant. Props for that. My seared green beans were hot and fresh and tasty and very good. Now the bad..... 1. I called hours in advance and asked about making a reservation and was advised that they don't take reservations. Wrong answer.... yes they do. We waited for about 20 minutes but were in no rush, but we observed a few other couples announcing they had a reservation and they were seated ahead of us..... so whomever answered the phone and advised that Edgers does not take reservations,,,,,, yes you do! 2. Service was fast but not good. The server did not come around to offer re-fills on our very empty beverage glasses.... and she brought the dinner rolls well after dinner had started as she admitted she forgot. She did not suggestive sell a desert and instead just brought us our check. 3. There is no music and the dining room is loud because you sit on top of a concrete floor with chipped paint everywhere.... cheap and nasty looking, not worthy of a steakhouse. The cheap turquoise curtains dragging on the floor covering the metal blinds are tacky at best. The hostess station is pure 1971, needs ripped out. 4. The décor was horrendous. They advise "casual country club attire", which is very funny as many, ahem, "gentleman" in the dining room had on various baseball caps... one guy was in flip-flops... and this place is not even in the same county as anything close to a country club vibe.... 5. While they do have cloth table cloths and napkins, sitting in this very poorly decorated and run down less than cafeteria atmosphere reminded me of sitting in the middle of a 1970s funeral parlor show room. I was looking for a casket with a dead guy laying in it.... 6. Presentation needs a complete revamp! No water served, no garnish of any kind, really nothing "nice" about this place except for the funeral flowers sitting in the middle of the converted garage, I mean dining room.... Great food. Quality food. Service provided by staff who would not know how to do a wine service, a staff who are very nice people, but a staff who have never eaten in a fancy restaurant in a first-class city like New York, Boston or San Francisco... foodie environments. Is this a prom date destination? NO Is this a place to impress your date? NO Is this a place to have a business dinner with a new or perspective client? H&%$ NO Is this a place that is no frills with decent food? Sure.... go for the steaks but nothing else....

We had the spinach salad - not to be missed - and the Delmonico steak. Both were great. At brunch the spinach salad isn't on the menu but you can still order it. This place is also very generous with fresh bacon bits - loaded baked potato, spinach salad, whatever. You won't go bacon deprived. Recommended.

I stopped by twice in one week to see what the locals mean when they say, "If you want a good…read moresalad, stop by Loaded Lettuce." I first stopped by on Tuesday, and I got a salad with a few toppings and a loaded baked potato, which led to stopping by tonight. I can say that was one good potato and salad. So tonight, I went for an even bigger salad with pecans on top and a container of chicken salad with crackers. I actually ordered the chicken salad by mistake, but that was the best mistake. I was trying to order a salad, but I said chicken salad. I didn't realize my mistake until she brought it out. The girl working there was so sweet about my mistake, and I quickly interrupted her, saying that I could keep the chicken salad and order the salad too. Now, like I said earlier, that was the best mistake because the chicken salad was so good. I ate the whole thing in one setting. I even ate half of my big salad, too. So I will tell you this, just like the locals say, "If you are looking for a good salad, this is the place." But I would like to add that the chicken salad is a must-order. Not to mention that the people are so friendly, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I believe if you could dine in, no one would leave.

If you want a big salad for a super reasonable price, this is the place to go. They offer custom salads where you can build-it-yourself with many different fresh options. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, with "tinder" greens (I'm sure they meant tender, but it's catchy, I think they should keep it ), with cheddar cheese, tomatoes, red onions, eggs, and cranberries, and the raspberry vinaigrette. My bag was hefty, so I knew that the salad was going to be big Everything was so fresh, I finished my whole salad, and I have to say say I'm happily full.. The lady in the front had amazing customer service! I got my salad less than 10 minutes. It was slightly hard to find since there isn't a sign yet, so once you get into the plaza, it's on the far left corner, on the side. If you're bringing your girl/guy a salad, I recommend getting it on Tinder greens Simply Salad 2584 Robinson St Jackson, MS 39209
